Only been here three times or so but this place is delicious to be honest. I am a lover of the bbq beef brisket. There is no comparison to any other sandwich location that I have tried so far. The staff is super open and friendly and they make you feel invited and that they like their job. — Refreshing ! Thank you Firehouse. Also thanks for the 2 dollar coupon!

My sandwich was awesome! The bread was really soft. You can tell all of their products they put on the sandwiches are really fresh. Will be back :)

I was contacted on Unilocal by «T» one of the managers. Offered me a free return to make up for the salad I got previously. I grabbed a sandwich for my wife and I to share and the sandwich was very good. I mentioned in my previous review that the people are friendly and the place has a nice lay out. Over all its a great spot that just had a salad glitch the night I 1st tried them out. We will come back and check them out again, thanks T for bringing us back in.

So… After giving this location a stellar review for how kind the customer service was, I now, sadly need to leave an update. If you view the images, you will find my service dog wearing a Faux fireman’s helm that they gave him last time I came in with him(which was my first time there). The second time we went in, we looked at the menu for a bit and then went to order. When we approached the register, the little girl manning it, asked me if I had add or adhd or if my dog was registered with the ADA. At this point, I had figured out what she meant… She was attempting to verify why I had a dog with me in a sandwich shop. Of course in this state, the only valid question to ask someone if the dog is a service animal and then eave it at that. I too offence due to the fact that there was another person in there with a service animal who was not confronted whatsoever. I asked why she was asking me that and she told me that her manager told her to ask me, specifically… That right there is discrimination, folks. Anyhow… I ended up WA Long out due to how I was asked and how sneaking the«manager» was acting. I went to sit in my car, which was in front of the store and clearly had my handicap Lazard hanging in the front window and can be seen from inside the store… Put my dog in my car and then got in myself… My girlfriend remained to wait for our order. YES, we did order as we were so hungry. As I sat in the car, waiting, my anger rose towards how poorly the situation was handled and how I was picked out and he I was approached. Eventually I went back in and asked for the manager, who turned out to be the owner of the franchised shop, he was truthful that he snuck out and told this young lady to confront me instead of doing it himself. I explained the laws in the state of California, to then he asked what my problem was, why I needed the dog(which is illegal) and asked how he was registered etc. He also asked if I had proof … There is no proof required for such an animal, I explained and told him he was a coward for not being a good manager, boys or went and confronting the situation by himself.. . And for singling me out, over the other gentleman who was in the building with his dog… And right next to me at this point. It was a terrible, and frankly disastrous event. I will never be back to this location. The guy who owns the place is rude, condescending and bigoted. If you care for disabled veterans or are offended by bogota, don’t go to this location give the jerk money, find another sandwich shop or another firehouse subs even. I wish I would report that this place was awesome again, but that’s just not going to happen. Cheers.

This is the saddest sandwich shop ever. Everyone here looks incredibly somber and upset about something. The ordering process is messy if you want to «build your own» sandwich. She’ll ask you 10 times«what was that again?» forget to add half of your ingredients and then add some you *didnt* ask for. The atmosphere alone is enough to not want to come back.

This place has lots of great options and healthy ones too. I got the sandwich with the BBQ beef brisket and cheddar on wheat and it was really good. Their sandwiches are mainly meat but I think you can add veggies. For soda drinkers they have one of those soda machines where you can choose from a ton of flavors of soda like cherry, vanilla, orange, grape coke and sprite. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant

Come here a few times a month for a nice hot sub. Food is delectable, customer service is always friendly, and portions are generous compared to other places. They have plenty of sauces you can try though I normally soak my Italian or Hook and Ladder sub with the regular Firehouse sauce… it’s freaking great. Overall, great place for a nice clean, yummy lunch!

I can say that I am definitely not big on sub sandwiches. It is once in a blue moon that I will venture my way out for subway or quiznos. and my boyfriend swears by jimmy johns sandwiches. but I’m a hot sandwich kinda gal and there’s nothing hotter than Firehouse Subs! I’ve tried three things at this sub shop. The meatball sandwich, the beef & cheddar and the Firehouse«Hero» sub. All are pretty tasty, but my favorite? My «Hero» sub sandwich to save the«i don’t know what the f to eat» day. It’s a 3 meat sub(turkey, roast beef and honey ham). Surprisingly, with the amount of meat on the sandwich, it is not salty at all. Taste f*cking amazing! I love it hot, but even more, I love it spicy! At the Costa Mesa location(idk if its at all locations) there is a sizable shelf full of hot sauces to try. I am definitely in love with the Walkerwood Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce. Definitely a try if you like a moderate spicy kick. Don’t forget to check in and get $ 2 off your sub!

Okay. I’ve visited this location a few times now, I’ve concluded you will either love it or hate it… and I love it!!! I am not to familiar with steamed subs but they come out as hot, steamy, deliciousness. Quite a variety to choose from… I know they may be introducing cold sandwiches if not already. The inside is quite a large space very clean, and well decorated makes for a pleasant visit while you wait or eat. They also carry a wide selection of hotsauces ranging from 1 — 10! Love hot sauce so this is definitely a plus for me. To finish this review I just wanted to note the staff is very friendly, always nice to be remembered.

Greated by Miranda tonight at Firehouse Subs immediately upon walking in. She took our order, and we ordered two medium sized Bacon Ranch subs on wheat bread to go Location: clean, bright, airy, plenty of seating Staff: friendly, helpful, and welcoming Food: AMAZING! The sandwich i had was amazing! I shouldve asked for yellow peppers to accompany my sandwich! The combonation of ingredients was on point! Along with their yummy wheat bread! 5 stars! Two Thumbs up! Will return to try more options off the menu! (Two medium subs to-go cost roughly about $ 15 bucks. Not bad. Would rather come here than subway, relatively comparable prices for much more flavor and better staff and environment)

Needed to shop at Ikea and felt like a sandwich so I used Unilocal app to find someplace new to try. Firehouse subs sounded interesting enough so my wife and I headed on over. The company was founded by firemen and part of the proceeds is donated to first responders. According to their website the donations go towards life saving equipment, prevention education, scholarships, support for members of the military, and disaster preparedness/relief. When you go to pay you can round up your bill to the dollar and the change will go to the charity. The menu here is very confusing since every sandwich has a quirky name like«hook & ladder» and«New York Steamer» for example. This forces you to read this very long sign which describes each sandwich. I can see this being a pain during lunch rush time. I went with the New York Steamer which is corned beef, pastrami, provolone, mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. I then added other topping such as tomato, lettuce, banana peppers, etc. I thought my sandwich was very tasty and I could actually taste each ingredient. Each tasted high quality and none of it was lost in the sandwich. I definitely recommend. My wife went with the Italian which had genoa salami, pepperoni, ham, provolone, and Italian dressing. Unlike me she didn’t care for her sandwich. She said it was boring and none of the ingredients had enough flavor to stand out. I compare this place to Jimmy John’s as far as taste and bread type but a lot cheaper. Prices were very reasonable and you can save $ 2 with Unilocal check-in.

I got a turkey sandwich and it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The meat wasn’t the best quality, and the bread wasn’t all that great either. I would go again if there if it was convenient to stop in but I wouldn’t ever go out of my way to get it. I would rather have jersey mikes.
