Drove be here at 6:40 on the way to work and saw that both neon open signs were on so I turned around and went back. I parked and then saw that the lights were on but no one was home. Some stupid employee walked out, turned around to lock the door but missed the glowing red and green lights in their face. As I left an employee was coming to unlock said«we are closed» she could not care less that the sign was left on and just shrugged her shoulders. Not the best staff at this place and that’s saying slot for a subway.

Sometimes you just feel like a Subway sandwich :-) As far as Subway’s go this is certainly one of the best I’ve been too. But it’s still a Subway and by that account I find it hard to go w/5 stars like a lot of other people. While Subway is one of the best alternate fast food places, they still don’t have the highest of quality meat/produce and let’s face it the sandwiches are good but certainly not GREAT. I eat here once or twice a month and everyone working here is cool, but it’s still Subway.

I have visited this Subway location over the years. Recently they have been making their sandwiches with very minimal meat. I am not sure if it is corporate mandated or this location being stingy. Their sandwiches are more bread then anything and not worth $ 8.

My salad & sandwiches were good! Too bad, You have to wait for the manager to come from home I suppose if you want to wash your hands before or after you eat there!! So it sucks! I hear the employees have to walk across to use the bathroom?? Seriously?Or they can wait for their manager to open the bathroom for them? I almost believed these workers too! Nice one! That’s the reason I won’t go to Subway again.

I stop by there once a week after going to the karate dojo next door. They have a great, friendly staff and the food is consistent every time.

This Subway is awesome! The staff has their sandwiches down solidly. They are fast and very efficient. Joanna and Paris definitely live up to the«Sandwich Artist» title. They keep everything very clean and well stocked.

I have gone to many Subways, but this is the best one by far. Not only is it less than a mile from my office(walkable) but it is one of the cleanest and has the best staff. David and Marivel are usually the two I see when I come in for lunch. They are so efficient and friendly and they make sure my sandwich is exactly to my liking. They are always polite and very professional to everyone that walks in the door. Always greeted with a hello sir/ma’am… Makes you feel good. This place always has their ingredients on point! Whether I come in for breakfast, lunch or dinner the place looks like it had just opened. Lettuce, tomatoes, olives all the toppings filled and looking fresh. Isn’t that Subway’s moto? «Eat Fresh.» :)

Apparently there’s a completely new(but very experienced) staff now on board since some of these other old negative reviews were written, because along with being one of the friendliest Subways I’ve been to, it is by far the fastest. Every time I come in, every employee is hustling to their full potential(especially David). Come be amazed as you watch your sandwich precisely assembled in fast forward! Additionally, after coming in a handful of times, the staff has started recognizing my friends and I, and even have a pretty good idea of what«the usual» might be for the day. For a fast, cheap, healthy lunch, this Subway is as good as it gets!

Staff was so afraid of the boss they wouldn’t change the tv to the football game from bowling. Quiet and timid. Food ok but there are too many subways around to waste my time and money there.

Hands down the best Subway I’ve been to. I usually go in about 7:30 after the gym. They close at 8pm so everything is almost put up by the time I get there. Never anyone else there either. So I’m always in and out pretty quick. The guy that usually makes my sandwich is pretty quiet, but I wouldn’t call it bad customer service like other reviewers. I don’t need my arse kissed at a fast food restaurant. Anyhow, the veggies are always really fresh. The tomatoes are a rich dark red and the onions and peppers are always nice and crunchy. Since its close to closing when I go the guy is usually very generous with the meat, I always get the sweet onion chicken teriyaki. No complaints. Clean, fresh, quick and filling. Don’t see how anyone could ask for more.

DONOTEATHERE, they are so unbelievably rude! They give you like 2 pieces of meat and they are not even close to generous on the veggies. Don’t even ask for more veggies or you will get dirty looks. Go to the subway on 17th and santa ana. they are super nice and make a sandwich the way its supposed to be made.

Womp womp womp… Staff seemed tired(this was 1:30 pm) for lunch time. Not crowded. Sandwich seemed to be the same at every other Subway. Nothing spectacular.

Subway is not my favorite sandwich shop. Actually, it’s pretty much at the bottom of my list in terms of sandwich shops I’ll eat at. But sometimes it’s 9 p.m. and all the good places are closed. This Subway is extremely clean and there’s never anyone there, so at least you get your sandwich quick! Unfortunately, the«sandwich artist» helping us had ZERO personality and it kind of annoyed me. Overall, I’ll avoid Subway at pretty much all costs, but if you have to, this location isn’t the worst. It’s clean, the veggies look fresh, and you’ll be in and out very quickly.
