Great lunch spot! Andy is always making custom orders if if needed. They pack their lunches enough for you to eat twice or for dinner! Very clean, very fast and always friendly!

Ordered the lunch special general tso chicken and large pork fried rice for a total of $ 13 dollars and change. It wasn’t bad, i liked it. Small place with nice friendly people you can’t beat the cheap prices. This my new chinese take out spot.

Great Chinese food! Very fast service and good prices! Great egg rolls and cash only under 10. And they deliver where some places don’t. Won’t go anywhere else.

This place has been around for quite a while, we order from Moy Yen frequently and I have never been disappointed. The owners are always friendly and accomodating, for the money you get a lot of food. It’s not five star, it’s take out, but I find it the best in our area honestly. My husband loves the fried rice and if you like spicy and fish, the salt and pepper fish is really good. Their family deals are wonderful, affordable and frankly, I have gotten 3 nights worth of food out of them! Great neighborhood take out!

Not bad. It was better than I expected. We ordered 4 different entrees and the crab rangoons. Crab rangoons were great. They actually had crab in them unlike some other chinese restaurants I have been to. The food wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. It seemed to just lack a little bit in flavor. All of the food nearly tasted the same. I would try this place again(maybe only with a coupon) but I would try something different.

Wow this place is not good. This is by far and away the worst review I have written to date. Ordered delivery last night:(10÷22÷1408:22pm) Sweet and sour chicken Shrimp in lobster sauce 2 egg rolls Sweet and sour chicken was way over cooked, dried out, and mostly breading. The fry oil definitely needs to be changed out. After further investigation you could see the dirty fry residue all over the chicken. The sauce and white rice were ok. Shrimp was swimming in a giant box of hot and sour soup not lobster sauce. Lobster sauce is white and creamy with peas. I have no idea what happened with this order but someone sh*t the bed. Egg rolls were over cooked in the same dirty oil the sweet and sour chicken was prepared in. My friend and I took a couple bites and then just tossed the rest in the garbage for fear of getting sick. It should be mentioned that we did not call the restaurant back to complain we just figured it wouldn’t be worth trying to fight through the language barrier then wait another hour for new food. Overall this place is a culinary abortion with a food born illness outbreak on the horizon. Needless to say I do not recommend this place nor will I ever order from here again.

We did a takeout on Thursday for lunch. Their hours say they open at 11am but when we arrived a little before 11am they were open and there were already two ahead of us. Their service is fast, efficient and friendly. We ordered a sweet&sour chicken and a sweet&sour pork. The lunch items come with fried rice, an egg roll, and a fortune cookie. The portions are very generous and tasty. The egg rolls are fresh and crispy. The fried rice is good. My only issue was that they put the sweet&sour sauce on the pork/chicken and by the time you are eating it the pieces are getting soggy. Most places put the sauce on the side. I will give them another try but if I get those dishes I will ask for sauce on the side.

Stopped in for the lunch special the other day. The place was busy with mostly carry out business. The counter guy was upbeat and engaging despite his thick accent, he was chatting up customers in person and over the phones. Briefly chatting with him I came to know that he’s the daily host. He recognized many walk in’s and that’s an always good sign. Most likely repeat regulars. I got a General Tso’s chicken special which comes with chicken fried rice and a chicken egg roll. I requested they make the rice spicy and they graciously accommodated. Also ordered some crab Rangoon based on reviews. The appetizers were tasty, more so the chicken egg roll which you could taste its freshness. The Crab Rangoon’s were stuffed with a large amount of a bland cream cheese and imitation crab. If you love cream cheese, you’ll dig these. It was a bit too cheesy for me. With a mixture of sweet and sour sauce and chili sauce, is how I like to enjoy them best. Now onto the lunch special. The rice tasted day old, rice bits were a bit hard but they did as they said they would and spiced it up with their chili sauce. The General Tso’s was semi good. It’s the kind that they(might) flash fry battered chicken pieces and then throw into sauce. Some pieces were freshly made and some pieces were so damn chewy, which usually hints to being older stuff or fatty pieces. Being that this is a strip mall, Chinese, carry out kind of place I had low expectations. Little did I know at the time that later this day I would be two for two with more day old food in my belly. Ugh the pain, pedal to carpet all the way back to Chicago. I mentioned that it’s carry out but they also offer two tables which seat four, decent accommodations. If it’s a first time for you also, maybe skip the lunch special. Seems most of these reviews are for items they ordered off the regular menu. I would bet that is the most fresh. I like that they offer a shrimp fried rice using larger shrimp like that of the tiger prawn variety. If back in the area again, I might stop in and order off the regular menu. Maybe. Shoulda woulda coulda. I could have gone to Cida or Thipi Thai like Paul Z. mentioned in his review, both solid Thai places tested and true.

First of all let me start by saying we ordered from here because they deliver and I didn’t want pizza, again. You can tell by the prices that this is going to be ordinary take out. No frills expected and no frills received. It’s typical Chinese take out. It was good. I had the orange chicken and my boyfriend had the Yu Shang Shrimp. We also had the appetizer combo tray which was 2 egg rolls, 2 crab rangoon, 2 fried shrimp and 2 teriyaki beef skewers. I liked this very much. My orange chicken tasted like any other orange chicken and I didn’t taste the Yu Shang shrimp because I’m not a fan of all the oriental vegetables, but my boyfriend really liked it We also had plenty of sauces to choose from in the extras bag, along with 4 fortune cookies. This was a ton of food and only cost us around 22 dollars. We will order from here when we want something cheap and fast, delivered.

I was fairly impressed with this place. As this was my first time having their food I had no expectations, and I also had no disappointments. The delivery time was a little slower than the average Chinese place. I think we waited 25 minutes for our food. Everything was delicious. The crab rangoons were big and full of fluffy crab stuff. The fried shrimp had big mini shrimps, not those tiny barely-there ones. The sweet and sour sauce was like the real stuff too, and not that red junk that turns into jello in the fridge. Everything tasted great and I plan on eating here in the future.

I’m a big fan of Kung Pao Chicken, it’s my favorite Asian dish, the simpler one makes it, the better it is! This place adds green pepper, mushroom, onion, celery, zucchini, pea pods, water chestnuts and carrots to their KPC, it was more like Kung Pao Goulash! the main flavor of the meal was celery. We also had the Mongolian beef, which had a good flavor but the meat was tough, I chewed one piece so long I tried to blow a bubble with it. Even their pork fried rice was bland, which is hard to do, Should of went to Thipi Thai

I don’t know what happened to the Chinese Restaurants in this area. The pickins are scarce in the Countryside Area. There are a lot of crap chinese, cookie cutter type. BUT, Moy Yuen does not skimp on ingredients. You order beef and rice you get plenty of beef, less filler items like water cress, etc. No, it’s really an honest portion. Unassuming storefront. Andrew the proprietor is over the top nice, charming, funny, and engaging. Not a sit-down place. Carry out only.
