Pep’s Sub & Pizza Shack

Read reviews and decided to check this place out. First off this place doesn’t give off that good pizzeria smell that you would find in most pizza joints. Service was decent. The food on the other hand I would have to agree with a previous post that the pizza does in fact taste like it was premade and frozen. Although we only tried the mini pizzas might be different for larger pizzas.

Beer is good service is very slow! We got here at 7 for the USC game and haven’t gotten our pizza we ordered at 8:15 yet. It is now 9:32. This is crazy! This is my first time here. You guys know you’re the only ones that play the USC game hire more staff for these days! Excuse was they only have 1 pizza oven so far we have only seen 1 pizza come out! I’m really disappointed in this place. And they don’t have the air on. It’s pretty stuffy in here. OK so after receiving our pizza after over an hour I asked why it took so long and she said it didn’t. I don’t understand why she just stopped and stared at me instead of apologizing and to top it off charged for rance dressing after they broght the pizza and it was paid for we had to pay for rance while at the table. Omg!!! Never will I come here again!!! I’m super disappointed! !! 2 STARS HAS NOW GONE TO 1 STAR AND I AM A PRETTY FAIR PERSON!

Good food, good service, nice employees as well as «regulars». Will be back again! Great pizza and beer place.

I came here to check it out, it was near me and it had great reviews. It is definitely a place I would come to again. I tried many things on the menu and was not disappointed in the slightest! My only thing is that for the pizza, it did taste great but I’m not a big fan of the thin bread type of pizza. All in all though it’s a great place for beers, pizza, and many other awesome foods.

BEWARE! If you’re going to watch a Dodger game the single grandmas at the bar keep feeding the jukebox during the game. Keep in mind it was a Tuesday and these people had nothing better to do but sit at the bar and ruin the game.

This wont be your favorite pizza spot, nor is there anything fancy about it …
BUT they get four stars because they have been consistent for YEARS, they are quick, have a decent priced lunch special that will get your a personal sized pizza, salad, and medium drink.
Personal sized pizza is not too small to leave you hungry still, nor is it too big to leave any behind — perfect size. I would not say its think nor thick, but just right. Cheese and sauce is good, and the salad may be a quick small salad, BUT their ranch is good AND they include the very small sized croutons! Reminds me of being a kid and eating them out of the box lol.
They will have sport central on TV’s for you, and clean up quickly after you. This married couple that runs it, just does what they have to do to make you coming back and take care of you.
Stop by here for a quick lunch if your in the area …

First time here… had a great time! Very friendly clientele and felt «at home «. Melissa is a great bartender and was very attentive.. I will definately be back again!

Love this place. Cold beer on game nights. Chicken wings and salad. The waitresses are fun and happy and they make you feel at home. Tvs everywhere lotto and hotspot. The jukebox has good tunes. Sometimes I want to dance. Hey wheres the dancefloor?

Pizza here is great and so are the oven baked sandwiches. They serve Blue Moon on tap and the American lagers. What I like about this place is they serve beer in pints, big mugs, or pitchers. The owners are very nice and their prices are reasonable. It’s kinda of like a dive bar. Great place to watch sports, eat good pizza, and drink.

This place is awesome. Cheap beer and good food sorounded by a bunch of Tvs!!! The bartenders are all great also. They have good customer service. Missy is the best one though! Next time your in the area and want to catch any sports game, I recommend this place.

Awesome pizza, quick reliable delivery.

This place is certainly not new, but I’m thinking people don’t even know it’s here — in fact this is the second time I ate here and didn’t even know this was the name until I looked it up here.
Good place to take out lunch. I order a mini pepperoni and a small 6″ turkey sandwhich — for about $ 10. The pizza’s sauce is average, but the crust is uniquely contoured and shaped on the edges like a deep dish pie, but medium height. Crunchy outter shell and soft in the center, probably one of the better crusts I’ve had. I was pretty impressed that each of the 4 slices had exactly 4 pepperoni rounds on each, neatly placed. The sandwich was stacked high, average turkey, fresh veggies, good bread.
Looks like an awesome place to share a drink with friends.

I love this place! i live down the street and have been coming here since i was little and the food is very good its kind of on the junk side but if that’s the kind of pizza you like then i would recommend it. The meatball is classic to me, anti pesto salad is great and they also sell beer and have a few TVs for sports. The owners are super nice too me once you get to know them they will always tell you hi.

it’s a cute little sports bar! and nobody ever thinks sports bars are cute, right? well i certainly don’t. but this one is pretty cute! if they started a karaōke night, it would be freakin awesome here!
it’s not very big at all. lots of those little machines at the front… gumball, mood rings, candy, etc. a few arcade games… not all of them are in working order.
they have lunch and dinner specials. we had 2 mini lunch special pizzas. very filling lunch for me and the boys for under $ 9. the place is run by an asian couple. after we got our pizza, i asked for ranch and the lady tried to charge me an extra 50 cents for ranch. so i said… uh never mind then. then a few minutes later, she came out with a little container of ranch. awww i guess she felt bad.
the coolest part of the whole place is that they have an ecast machine. i’ve never seen or heard of one before. i just thought it was a fancy jukebox… but it’s even BETTER than fancy jukebox! you can pretty much play any song you want on there. just type it in and it’s there. songs range from 1 — 3 credits each. (credit = quarter) i was very amused. they do note that you can’t play music during games on the weekends and monday night football. patrons will get pissy.
i wanna go back for happy hour. pitcher of hef for $ 9.83!!! i’m soooo there!
