The drive thru barista Monday afternoons(about 1pm) is always rude. Never a smile, not even a hello. She practically throws your drink and card back at you and doesn’t ask if you’d care to have a receipt. Thankfully there is another one a little further down the road.

Best way to describe my review: «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» We go here every single day and some days are better than others; my best advice, avoid making that barista that is having a bad day mad because your order is long or she doesn’t feel like understanding what you asked her for, you will get snapped at, talked down to and made to feel like an idiot; all while you’re paying $ 20 for your breakfast items and coffees. Starbucks Maple Valley is the same distance away and I have been going there instead when I can. I guess there is a first time for everything. I have never been treated badly at any other Starbucks.

Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks. They don’t have a drive-through so it makes me keep my word about being more active and do more walking. Of course, coming out with what I ordered may not be keeping my word. It is just too delicious. The staff is always friendly and they always have it clean and tidy. Service is great and defintely a nice place to meet for coffee.

Word of advice: don’t go here on a weekend morning. We went on a Saturday morning and it was a shit show… Line to the door, slow baristas, and of course, that one dude who has to spill his drink TWO seconds after he got it — short staffing the team even more because somebody has to clean up. Our drinks were made just fine, but the wait was a little extensive and you could tell the baristas were flustered… They each had coffee master aprons on and they literally had like 5 drinks in their queue. Seriously? I’ve had 15+ drinks in my queue and could still breathe easy, and I wasn’t ever a coffee master. Buck up, guys. Maybe move to a Barnes & Noble ‘bucks if you can’t handle more than five people at a time.

I love this Starbucks location better than the drive thru location that is nearby. The coffee is the same at both locations so coffee is made well at both locations. BUT the customer service at this location is wonderful and is 10x better than the drive thru location.(Hence customer service is everything to me). Every time I come in I’m always greeted, and while they’re taking your order they always make small talk! Even the baristas make small talk with you,(well if it’s not a busy shift that is). This place is always clean as well. And the way they display their products that are for sale is always so neat and presentable! All the employees here seem to be more happy and friendly. This location and the drive thru location are the closest to me but this location will definitely be my go to Starbucks from now on!

When I walked in this morning, I was greeted(rare in a Starbucks) by the friendly and good-looking Alec who rang off some tea flavors for me to choose from. His personable attitude, as well as the chill Carribean tunes, standing bar, and ample outdoor seating earn four stars. Because it’s just a Starbucks, it’d take something pretty special to garner five stars.

I love Starbucks– Even though I just needed a bottle of water and a place to meet a client today it always feels like I’m «home».

I’m here often and with few exceptions, the baristas(Autocorrection error) are friendly and competent, and the drinks are made perfectly. Much better experience here than at other local Starbucks.

This Starbucks location in Covington is walk-in, not the one with a drive-through. I stopped by here on my way to Tough Mudder in Black Diamond. Employees were quite friendly and chipper at 6am! Having a real conversation with the baristas helped calm my nerves before my run! And clean restrooms — yay! Thanks for the great customer service and hot coffee in the morning!

I had time to pick up coffee before I started my day at work this morning. Dylan who took my order was very friendly and personable and a GREAT attitude! You can tell he was happy to help and was very genuine about it. Thanks Dylan!

Long wait to purchase already and my drink came out of order. Six drinks later my drink shows up and no apology from the barista. The barista told me because she has to make the ice drinks first. But she just gave someone an Americans! There were only 4 customers there!

Though I like this Starbucks, and their wi-fi is good, I do not like that they leave their door open because the workers are hot. It is currently 48 degrees outside and people inside of the store are being subjected to the elements because it is a warm by the oven. We are all bundled up with coats and scarves trying to work and drink our coffee which is now frozen from the cold air. Not cool Starbucks-Covington!

I love this Starbucks. I don’t buy coffee often, but when I do I drive here just to get an extra fabulous one.(That sounds dangerously close to a Dos Equis commercial). Everyone there is professional and nice. They remember my drink and make it right EVERY time. I can’t even remember if I’ve gotten a bad coffee there. The people who work there seem to generally just enjoy each other and their jobs. The store is clean and well kept — bathrooms are always clean. It’s the genuine customer service — that’s where it’s at. Good coffee and good people. It’s worth going out of your way. MUCH better than the drive through down the street!

Whenever I come to this Starbucks, it always lands close to closing so it is always quiet during that time obviously. With that, it has a nice atmosphere and they are friendly.

Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks stores. Friendly atmosphere and not understaffed like the other Covington location.

This Starbucks store is fantastic! I know, Starbucks is a chain and the products are supposed to be standard all across the board, but what makes this branch special is the staff. They are just excellent, best customer service. Always have a smile ready, they are attentive to any special requests, they are fast but I don’t feel rushed into completing my order(which I sometimes feel so in other stores). Even though there are several Starbucks stores on my way to work, I purposely stop by this one because of all the reasons above.

Though I don’t consider myself a diehard coffee drinker — I prefer the«foo-foo» coffee drinks like mochas, lattes and frappucinos — I’ve always loved Starbucks. I was in the Covington Starbucks on Tuesday to meet a client, and I discovered I had left my wallet at home. I brought my laptop, but no cash. Unable to order, I sat down to wait for my client. I didn’t want to tell her what I’d done, so we just started our meeting. When the barista brought over my client’s drink, she also brought me a Vivano on the house. It was such a nice surprise and I really appreciated it. After ward, I went over to thank the baristas behind the counter, and they just smiled and said they were happy to do it. It is hard to find service like that these days, so thank you Starbucks. I hope to pay it forward soon!
