I went in the store to upgrade my iPhone 5. One would hope this would be an easy process just like all my upgrades from as far back as 2001 would be. The sales guy walked around the store showing me accessories that I did not need or want. I politely asked can I just upgrade my phone please. He walked to the store room in the back and came out with a arm load of stuff. He said that I could have all these amazing accessories and the phone for a lower price than just getting the phone. I said no thanks and started to leave and this guy rolled his eyes at me. I get better treatment at a used car dealership. Avoid this location at all cost.

Absolutely horrible experience at this store. Went in with my sister to upgrade our iPhones and what should have been an easy process turned into an extremely frustrating one. After not wanting to participate in their new «promotion» the manager (I think he’s the manager) proceeded to shout at us trying to convince us to reconsider after we had said no three times. His demeanor, tone of voice, and overall attitude was absolutely unprofessional and made us feel like he was trying to make us feel like complete idiots. When they finally gave up on the «promotion» after explaining 5+ times why we didn’t want to do it, they finally got us our phones. The guy helping us charged my sisters credit card the full amount (over $ 1,000 instead of $ 500) and then refused to admit that it was even his fault. Blamed the bank entirely and would not own up to his own mistake. While we were there, a lady and her son came in to get a new phone as well and the next thing we know she is having issues with the same «manager» guy who then refuses to let her get a phone or even call a higher up manager. This confirmed the fact that it wasn’t just us that felt his complete unprofessionalism. It was hands down the worst experience I have ever had in any phone store or any store for that matter and for that reason me nor my sister will ever be returning there. They’re unhelpful, make you feel stupid, pressure you, and create a horrible environment for the customers who are spending a ton of money. I’ll be contacting corporate offices about this as I feel something clearly needs to change.

The Verizon worker Mike helped my daughter get a new phone after hers had been stolen. He made conversation and had us laughing throughout the whole encounter. He also stayed past closing to help us ensuring customer satisfaction. Never had one bad experience here and it’s absolutely lovely. Thank you to all who work there!

My husband and I took our daughter to this Verizon location to replace her stolen phone. It was a busy time, but the wait was worth Kyle Phillips helping us. He was very knowledgeable and easily answered all are questions. He was so enjoyable to work with that the time it took to set up our daughter’s new phone didn’t seem long at all. I was pleasantly surprised when he helped me with an issue I’ve been battling on my phone for quite some time as well. Kyle is a 10 out of 10! :)

Had a great experience today. Was helped as soon as I walked in and Bryce helped me out with everything I needed. Super friendly staff and took a lot of time with me. Bryce was awesome and very helpful.

I would like to express my appreciation for Michael Rentas — a Solutions Specialist at the Covington Verizon Store. I had a series of challenges and needed to replace my cell phone.
I was treated very well, and left the store much happier than when I went in. Michael really helped me out, and I would work with him again any time!

The sales associates are helpful when you need to pick out a new phone or when you have questions setting up devices. However, the manager Ishmael is very rude and unprofessional. My mother’s iPhone was having an internal problem and the screen would not turn on when she received calls so we went in to exchange it. The phone has insurance on it and when we spoke to the manager he gave us a phone number and told us to handle it ourselves. We insisted on calling customer service while we were still at the store in case we had any more questions. Without getting any real results we asked Ishmael to find a solution seeing as how we had purchased the phone in his store and had set up our accounts there as well. He told us to go to a different store of we weren’t happy and began yelling at my brother. I have never witnessed such rude customer service! As a manager he needs to work on his attitude. There is never an excuse to get into a confrontation with a customer! He should not have this position! Reading all the other reviews it’s obvious that this location has a problem with management. What a shame.

I have historically had very negative experiences with almost everything regarding Verizon wireless. This interaction with Euel was overwhelmingly positive and helpful. Thanks Euel!

Went in today and worked with Mike Rentas. He was great. Nice, friendly and knowledgeable, he did a good job. I’ve been there many times and worked with many people and I’ll make sure I look him up anytime I need something from here on out. His manager, however, was a different story, but it would be unfair to affect Mike’s review because of him. Go see Mike. He’s great. Just hope and pray that you don’t have any manager interactions with Chris Garcia.

Chris Garcia was curt, rude, unhelpful and incompetent. I had just puchased the iPhone glass protection, and when Mike put it on for me, there was a small blemish that I did not notice when I left I turned around and went back in the store, where I ran in to Chris. When I showed him the blemish, he said sorry, there is nothing they can do. It’s as is, we put them on as a courtesy, but can’t be responsible for how they are put on. I showed him how small it was, and asked him what could be done. He said sorry, nothing. So I asked to talk to Mike, the Super nice salesman who helped me originally. That’s when he got mad. Chris said sure, no problem, but he’s going to tell you the same thing because I’m the manager. He stomps off to the back and Mike comes out. I explain to him what happened, showed him the glass and guess what? He fixed it. He gently lifted the glass, ran some tape under it and removed the blemish. Too bad Chris, the MANAGER, did not have the intelligence, presence of mind or customer service skills to problem solve that on his own. Good thing you have employees that are smarter and more capable than you. And, when I told him he was a power tripping manager, he told he to have fun driving around on the ice.

This place has got to get more employees I am going to sit here for an hour for them to replace my screen protector. Why do you not have someone that takes care of the small things; answer questions, replace screen sell product. So they ones who are not here to set up phones. So ridiculous!!! I have so much to do today that I need to do.

Went in today looking for a new phone case, I was greeted right away by friendly people, despite how busy they were. The gentle man (Chris I believe his name was) Helped me a great deal, from making suggestions, and making friendly conversation. I love Verizon wireless, But I have been to some pretty unfriendly stores (The one at Kent Station for example) BUT This store is so much better. Its for sure worth the extra 20 minute drive for better customer service and to be helped by people that are there for you, rather than people that just want to get you out of the store. One of the most poorly run stores I have ever experienced. Wait time was ridiculous while there were employees walking around chatting with each other. Efficiency is a serious problem and when we were finally «approached» after being in the store for 20 minutes, we were told it would be another 25 minutes before we could be helped. This guy actually told us it would be better for us to buy a phone on line. They may not need sales. It’s quite obvious. VERY disappointed.

Waited for 20 Minutes without any help. Staff seems disconnected with their customers. Staff standing around chatting with each other while paying customers wait… very dissapointed in Verizon again. Don’t come to this store. Other stores seem better.

Terrible customer service it seems every time I have gone in you talk to someone they tell you what you want to hear but then does nothing to fix your problem.
Anything to get a sale… smh

Ask for Bart when you go in. I had to do a hard reset on my Razr and so had to re-​add my email account. When I couldn’t do it myself, I called Verizon tech support and — WOW– what a JOKE. They actually kept me on the phone for 3 HOURS — I swear I’m not exagerating — and they FAILED. After all that time I still did NOT have working email on my phone. They tried to tell me it was a hardware problem, then it was a software problem. They even said I might have to get a new phone — right. They tried to get me to use a different email app or even just go without email at all. Really? So I went into this Covington Verizon store and Bart had my email up and running within 10 minutes! These guys really know what they are doing — unlike the dumbasses at tech support.

Do NOT go into this location if you are not going in to buy.
I have been in and out of this location over the years and depending on the staff the service I received would be rated from fair to NO WAY.
Recently I walked in and approached two sales men standing by the counter looking at something on their phones. I was greeted with a «can we help you» and when I told them I need some help with my bill I was told okay someone will help you and both men went back to their phones. there were 3 other customers in the store. ONE man was helping one of the customers. I asked if I should sign in or something and was told no.
I wandered around long enough to check out every phone, phone case, tablet and accessories. I also had enough time to look at and knock over a display of speakers and headphones. And although I am a fat old lady I did get everything cleaned up without any assistance from the limber young men as they watched me.
I finally left without getting any assistance with my bill. I am sure if I had said I want a new phone, or that I wanted to buy a tablet they would have been more than happy to set their phones down and help.

Staff and management are very pleasant and understanding. This store and people working here are superb. I was with t-​mobile for 8 years and went to try AT&T which was a horrible experience. I came to Verizon Covington store and this has been the best experience I have ever had in retail.

Bought a Verizon Motorola Droid Razr Maxx two weeks ago for $ 199 from this store — the Fry’s Electronic ad comes out this last weekend and has it for $ 99. I called the Verizon Store tonight and they tell me they dont price match. Why not — it’s a Verizon Phone!!! That’s so dumb — their solution… phone can be returned within 14 days (which is today). Absolutely ridiculous!

We have had several bad experiences with this store. We had the same re-​stocking fee issue. We hated the phone and they would not stand behind it and exchange it without charging us a fee.
The customer service at this verizon store is awful. The 5 or 6 times that we’ve been in there, we have had to wait 30+ minutes to get help, even when there were only 1 or 2 people waiting.
Also, once we signed a new 2-​year contract, the customer service got worse and our free phone upgrade options disappeared.
After giving the store a bad review on the survey, someone from Verizon called to argue with us about the review, tried to tell us how they have the greatest customer serivce and that we didn’t know what we were talking about.
We get bad service when we go there.
