Monday ¼/15– Absolutely the worst Italian beef I have EVER had. I ordered 3lbs from catering menu. It was sliced thick(like gyro meat), laid it in the gravy so it is very over cooked. Charged me more than $ 5 for 12 pieces of bread. Each bread Piece was less than 3 inches long. How do I serve this. Called to speak to manager and was told they will look for kitchen manager while I was on hold. Then came back to say they will have the manager cAll me back, «they don’t give out his number». Poor poor customer service. No other customers were in store when I picked up order. Not like it was busy They chose not to deal with the issues. I will go to Pops beef on Webber rd or Portillo’s in Shorewood as it is better. I order pizza at least one to two times a week from Lucano’s(2 large pizza every time). I just ordered on Saturday. Today is Monday. That will stop. I AMSHOCKEDATHOWLAZYSTAFFISTOGETMANAGERORISTHEMANAGERTOOEMBARRASSEDTODEALWITHPOORPRODUCT? As I told the lady on the phone, look up my info, it is in the system and they were well aware as they confirmed it when I called the original order in. I presume, I am the Only person who ordeed 3 lbs of beef on Monday night at 700p. I am Very disAppointed and you lost a good weekly customer. Planned to order two pizzas for lunch tomorrow but will go elsewhere now. Tuesday 1÷5÷15−, I ordered 2 pizza today, they were great. Still waiting for a return call from owner or manager about POOR beef and POOR service last night.

Good pizza. Very expensive though. Delivery is pretty good. Reasonable time. Compared to Aurelios. Have you ever called for delivery from Aurelios? 1−½ for delivery, 20 minutes if you pick it up. The pizza here is usually hot too. As I said very expensive though

Their thin crust pizza dough is average and goes soggy but it’s a minor issue when you taste their sauce and toppings! Their deluxe thin was addictive! I drool everytime I think about it: D We plan on trying their other options real soon. I can’t believe this neighborhood gem isn’t more popular!

This place has amazing veggie pizza! I usually don’t like veggie pizza but we ordered it and I was blown away how good it was. They are a little pricey compared to other pizza places around here but good food!

Their fettuccine Alfredo isn’t comparable to the same dish I’ve had at other places, but their pizza, Cesar salad and garlic bread are awesome! They deliver and have great prices. I definitely like this place and will continue to order food from here.

Very disappointing. Large pizza with soggy crust. Only two corner pieces were crispy. The rest we couldn’t even pick up because the crust didn’t support the toppings and it would fall apart.

Ahh pizza @ 5 corners on West side of Joliet. Always a crap shoot cause places constantly come & go. Barracos was decent. Lucanos is at a whole new level! Yes its carryout & delivery only for those who arent familiar with the place. Nice array of choices. Folks there are prompt & friendly, even the kids! Ive never had delivery but did pickup. Time is usually right on give or take 5 min which is nice. Timely is important when the salivary glands are active. Parking adequete, gets tight once in’ a while. The food? Why its head and shoulders above Barracos! Some other reviewers claimed the pizza was bland?!! Dude if u need tabasco on ur Za then go ahead & sprinkle it on?!! WTF?! Buffalo pizza, they are not ! What they are, is gr8 crust slightly crispy! Not soft pizza hut crust! Toppings flavorful w/obligatory italian seasonings. Sauce mild, slightly sweet(not Aurelios sweet) but sweet nonetheless. Prices very moderate. Pizza is all about the crust! And they do crust right! I love that they have slices available all day. All in all a really good pie!

We always get a thin crust pepperoni pizza & mostaccioli. I also love their ravioli, fries, and cannolis. :)

This place has a solid thin crust pizza at a very reasonable price. I’ve heard it use to be a Barracos but the pizza here is far better than any Barracos I’ve ever had. Only knock I have is that the garlic bread was really basic. Wasn’t awful, just could use a little more flavor.

My husband and I live in Lockport, and every once in a while go out to Joliet for shopping. The one day we wanted a good slice of pizza after shopping. My husband worked in Joliet years ago, and told me we could go to a location he knew that had slices(he thought it was a Baccis). We got there and it obviously wasn’t Baccis but it was a pizza place. We went in and asked if they served slices. They do, but will take about 5 minutes to cook which is good because you know it will be fresh and not sitting out for hours. You get a slice of pizza and a can of pop for around $ 4. The slice is big and delicious! Probably one of the better pizzas I’ve tried in the area. Went back yesterday for the second time and it was just as good as the first. Will def keep coming back for a good slice of pizza!

My favorite thin crust supreme pizza around. The crust is super thin and crispy and the toppings are fresh. I love how they cut the slices into small squares so it’s easy to eat and not messy.

Best thin crust pizza I’ve had in Joliet. Great sauce, excellent crust that’s truly thin crust, thin and crispy around the edges.

Very good pizza, didn’t blow my mind, but it was a very good pie. I ordered a 12″ deep dish on a Friday night for carryout and it was ready within 30 minutes. Cost me $ 16 for that, but it was very filling and can easily be a filling dinner for 2 – 3 people. They also have coupons online you can use to bring the price down. Will definitely get pizza from here again.

Lucano’s catered my daughter’s Birthday party this past weekend. The Baked Mostaccioli was great not all dried out. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo were amazing. My guests were going back for seconds and third helpings. I almost thought some may even lick the pans. i would like to have seen more shrimp in Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken Fettuccine Alfredo had chicken in every bite.

May be the best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had!!! I was afraid when they changed their pizza recipe from Barraco’s which was already awesome, but their new thin crust recipe as Lucano’s is even better!!! Awesome pizza!!!

New place in the former Barraco’s Pizza storefront. Mainly carryout with one table. Got a 12″ stuffed pizza, which I thought was a little high at $ 17. Pizza was pretty good I’d say, quite doughy with the soft & thick twist knot crusts and light on the tomato sauce, which highlighted the pie’s cheesiness.

No longer called Barracos, it’s Lucianos now. I still think they have the best pizza in Joliet. Especially if your a thin crust lover. I don’t know where I would go for really good pizza if they weren’t around. Thanks guys!!!
