So I’m on my way home at 11pm, I decide hey I’m hungry lets get some fast food; quick and easy. I first stop by at taco bell and am greeted at the speaker by a man who says«Sorry but we’re going to be out of meat for about 15 minutes». No big deal, thanks for letting me know and not wasting my time. So what do I do next? I follow the car that was in front of me to the sonics right next door. That person in front of me orders whatever it is that they ordered then boom now its my turn. «Can i get 2 cheeseburgers and a large fry?» I ask, Helplessly unaware of the laziness going on in the inside of the(insert laughter)… «establishment». The person taking my order responds with the usual your total is blah blah and please pull up blah blah. As im pulling up their outside lights shut off. I figure how lucky, I am the last car of the night. Sure enough I was because i hear another car pull up behind me at the speaker maybe a minute later and the person who took my order tells them sorry but Sonic’s is closed. About 5 – 10 minutes go by and the person in front of me has yet to be taken care of. I think to myself if they cannot handle a 1 car«rush» then fuck my 2 cheeseburgers and large fry will take an eternity so i got out of that drive thru and went to Micky dees. I fluently get my big mac, fish sammy, and large fry with ease. But the fun isnt over, Sonic’s is between the Mcdonalds and my house so i have to drive past it on my way back home. Who do i see still waiting in the drive thru? the car in front of me. Why the eff would you take my order knowing that your lazy ass isnt going to get it for me because you are too busy thinking about departing from your miserable, low-paying, easy-to-do, fast-food job!!! Let me reiterate… This person took my order, said pull up and as far as im concerned wasn’t going to get it. «Oh im sure they would have gotten it eventually» Im sorry but when you have 2 cars piled into your drive thru and just the first car takes 15+ minutes you might as well write it off as the lazy asses on the inside aren’t doing their job… If you cannot make it at sonics then DAM head down to the cornerstone homeless shelter, it isnt to far from your peoples location, the volunteers their probably serve faster food for free than these sonic’s clowns. Will never be back, my idea of fast food isnt sitting at a window, watching the employees peek through the window at me to try and wait me out so they do not have to make 3 extra items for they day. Lazy. «workers».

Notable improvement in the customer service at this location. I’m happy to share my last two visits were both positive experiences. I found the staff to be helpful, efficient and friendly. The wait time at the window was reasonable and my order correct. As always, the food quality was good and the shakes delicious!

Slow slow slow service! Typical SONIC lack of personnell to get stuff done and served at 4:15 on the afternoon!

Sonic is awesome. I remember being so excited when they finally started putting them in Illinois and now that it is here, I can’t imagine living without it! The location is fairly convenient and the place is never full. There is the occasional wait for fresh fries but never too long. Being able to choose between the drive through or the drive in is nice too. Everyone has been pretty friendly here and I have never had a problem with anything I have ordered. Of course the Oreo Blast is the best thing on the menu(now available in mini size!), but there is a lot of other good cheap stuff. They have specials too, like half off milkshakes after 8 or drink happy hours. I love Sonics.

Love my sonic! This one is close to my home, and I hit this one up quite often. Cream slushes are great! The fruit slushes are great as well! I have had every single flavor on the menu!. Try the foot long coney!

My family has eaten at multiple Sonics in several states for years, and this was the worst experience ever. First of all, I think they swapped us to a trainee, because a girl answered our page, put us on hold, and then a guy picked it up. Cue the most inept transaction ever. I always use the Sonic lingo that’s on their menu board(#1 combo etc.) because that’s presumably what it’s there for! This guy seemingly could not figure that out(was it day #1?), and also kept interrupting me before I had my whole order out. You’ll know what drink I want when I get to it, but I’m not there yet! Also, my dad just wanted a burger and fries, no drink. Apparently the idea of «no combo» was unfathomable, because the kid was practically arguing with me about it. We don’t want it! Give up the dream! After about three rehashes of our order to ensure it was right(he kept rattling it off too fast to hear), we hoped for the best. We checked the burgers, which were okay, and hit the road. When we got home, we saw that my dad’s fries, buried at the bottom of the bag, were so uncooked as to be inedible. My advice to this place would be to not do training during dinner hour(how about 2 pm or something like that?), and to seriously get your act together! We will not be returning to this location; it’s closer to my parents’ house than the Lockport location, but after this episode, there’s no way we’re going back.
