After spending six hours in the airport and getting snowed in I got checked into a hotel. I decided to go to the pub at Crestview Hills for some food based on Unilocal reviews. I’m happy to report that the atmosphere was great the wait staff was very good and the food was good. I ordered the fish and chips and a Guinness. The Guinness was poured properly and the food came out quickly and was hot and excellent as you would expect from a British pub that serves fish and chips. This will be another regular stop if and when I move up here.

I wish I could give this place 0(zero) stars! The management was terrible. Rodents were running around in the restaurant and the management and service team made a joke out of it. If you have to fumigate and bomb the place for these types of pests, how can you turn around and serve food the next night? I couldn’t believe the way they treated my out of town colleague and myself when we asked to close out so that we could leave. We then tried to discuss the issue with the manager who continued to make the assumption that we were asking for free stuff which we were not. He then laughed and said I might buy you a drink but I’m not paying your bills. We never asked for anything for free we just wanted to pay and leave. When we asked for the manager again as we were leaving to discuss the way it was handled he then began accusing us of asking for something for free. We then asked for the manager above him so that we could speak with them about the issue. He promised us a name and phone number. He then told us «you know what you can leave.» He then proceeded to call the police to escort us out before delivering the phone number and name of his manager. We explained what all had occurred and finally received the name and number. I’m still waiting for a response.

Tuesday nights are trivia nights; I highly recommend going because it’s so much fun. I’ve won a couple of t-shirts and hats. I always get the goat cheese dip with extra pita as my entrée, and most the time I have leftovers. Also, the warm cookie sundae is a classic for dessert. The hostess, Brooklyn, rocks.

Pretty good selection of beer and wine. Staff is super nice and the fish tacos are unique twist with grilled ahi tuna.

This place is right around the corner from my mom’s house, so we walk here from time to time to have a drink and maybe some food if we’re hungry. Yesterday we tried a few different cocktails: the Mojito, Pimm’s Cup, Tom Colins, and the Grapefruit & Basil Martini. All four were extremely refreshing for a warm afternoon sitting in the outside patio area. Appetizer of choice: Pub Spring Rolls. A Mexican twist on an Asian appetizer– very tasty. Comes with four, so perfect for a small gathering. Meals: One had the Ahi Tuna Tacos and enjoyed those quite a bit. I definitely thought they looked tasty. Another had the Fish and Chips, the classic pub food. I’ve had theirs in the past and enjoyed it. This time I went for the Southwest Chicken Wrap. I liked it, but wasn’t incredibly wowed by it or anything. The chips are a good side, by the way. I almost always get those. Most people have been to a British-inspired pub, and this one is like many of the others. Their drinks are the best part– they always seem fresher than at other places locally. The food is good, although nothing strikes me as very unique from other pubs. We’ve never had horrible service here, so that’s also a plus.

Really good! The fried pickles have a kick and the fish sandwich is amazing. Also got the Sequin wine and it paired perfect! They also let you sample which is really nice. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is that I asked for a sweet red and he gave me a sample of dry red.

If you like great food, a huge beer selection, and outstanding customer service, you will love the Pub! They have the best happy hour in town and a truly remarkable staff to make your visit a wonderful experience. The bartenders are knowledgable and friendly and a manager usually swings by a few times to make sure you’re a happy camper. They have a nice thing going and it keeps getting better! I would highly recommend a visit.

We went to The Pub to watch a UK game because all of our other options didn’t pan out. I would not recommend going here to watch sports… They only have 2 TVs with poor pictures, but I know that is not what The Pub is geared for, so I digress. The food was really good and the beer was cold. The Pub does have a very authentic atmosphere inside with a great drink selection.

Ok another apparently British pub with the only thing that’s British on the menu is fish N chips, bangers and mash. I found it a bit annoying as a Welsh man when they had Welsh dip pub pretzel on the menu when none of the ingredients has anything to do with Wales. The only redeeming factor is there’s a great selection of beers and British ales and they have chip shop curry sauce(yellow curry) which I have absolutely missed!

Amazing service and even better food. Generous portion sizes and gorgeous venue, honestly, I don’t know why so many reviews are negative, this place was amazing and really fairly priced.

A 1.5 million dollar bar structure and yet one of the best priced venues in the Northern KY region for a diverse collection of spirits. The staff is incredible and food consistent. Truly a must see to believe location. Cheers!

Pretty decent selection of British/Irish draughts, and a few American craft selections like Dogfish Head and Angry Orchard. There are several high-quality bourbons and Scotch/Irish whiskeys as well. I haven’t tried the food. Atmosphere is rather subdued; it’s 2330 on a Saturday and the place isn’t very busy. Very clean. The male staff are wearing kilts — do what you will with that information.

I’ve only had drinks at this location, but I really enjoyed myself there. The night I went, the weather was perfect and we sat on their lovely patio. It was the perfect place to hear their live guitar player. They have a fantastic selection of beers, although they need to be better about keeping up with it. They still had kegs that had run out over a week ago listed on their chalk board. The atmosphere was that of a stereotypical pub… at Disneyland. It was like sitting in a pub replica. This is not a bad thing, per se, but it definitely doesn’t make me feel like I’m back in London. Probably not a date place, but I would bring a group of friends for a fun night for sure.

The tipsy laird dessert is amazing and I loved their ham and Swiss pretzel sandwich is off the chain yummy warmness! I came in here, because I wanted to at least get a fast bite, before I met my parents and to quiet down my grinding stomach. The waiter that has waited on me was amazing and looked good in his green plaid kilt.

A friend of mine and I had a mini-reunion and headed over to The Pub. After not seeing each other in nearly fourteen years, we were not in any hurry to hammer out a few drinks, inhale some food, and call it a night. This is where I bristled a little bit with our server. What I disliked was that our server was impatient and rushed us to decide which beverages and food items we wanted. As the restaurant was not full and we arrived after the conclusion of happy hour, I didn’t understand what the great, big hurry was all about. I was under the impression that The Pub was designed as a place for folks to unwind, relax and enjoy the company of others. If I wanted fast food, I would have gone to a McDonalds. Our beers were served promptly and were chilled to perfection. I ordered the BBQ Wings and they were surprisingly tasty. I had intended on bringing some back for lunch the next day, but they went down like water. Glorious, barbecue-flavored water. ;) My friends ordered the fish and chips and the pretzel roll sandwich, and both were quite pleased with the quality of their meals, too. Like I mentioned previously, all that was left to be desired was the service. I am hoping that I have better luck at the one in Orlando as the diversity of the import beer menu was quite impressive. The sampling of flavors from countries around the world really caught my attention.
