Great tasting food, great serving size, nice décor, and friendly staff! My only complaint — they were all dressed like construction workers rather than restaurant workers. With that being said, don’t let that stop you. Go in, order, and ENJOY!

This place is great! Live near by and eat from them frequently(husband loves Mexican food). Both take out and eat in are good with many tasty selections on the menu. My husband really likes their mole burrito and macho nachos, I’m hooked on their tortas(fish and chorizo both solid). Tacos are good too. Lunch special extends to the weekends which is lovely. Best thing about this place are the people. Family joint where they are friendly and always greet us with a smile. Great service. Great neighbors!

For some reason, I can’t leave a review via Seamless, so I’ll leave mine here. Pleasantly surprised by flavor and freshness of grilled fish in tacos. Docked a star bc a) they forgot the guac I paid $ 2.00 extra for b) the corn tortillas(good gluten-free option, btw) were dried and could’ve used a pan-fry or toast to cover-up the straight-out-of-bag taste. Also, super quick(& free) delivery!

Don’t bother. In town for the weekend and got suckered into coming here because of the Unilocal reviews. Red salsa tastes canned(Pace, anyone?) and al pastor is fatty and tasteless. Soooo bummed out. Save yourself the disappointment and try any of the number of the great places on Washington Ave.

This place is amazing! Super quick service and the food is delicious!!! Grilled chicken taco and the chicken quesadillas were great, and the salsa with the nachos is a little spicy, which was good! Would definitely come again and recommend it to others.

No 3.5* so 3* for now. I was quite satisfied with my dish, but not totally impressed. Both the grilled chicken taco and chorizo enchilada are good. they were generously filled with veggies and sauce and both were reasonably priced. But I just felt like there’s no ”wow” factor to the dish. The hype has brought me here in the first place, so I guess I was just expecting too much from them? Anyway, I wouldn’t mind coming back here as I haven’t tried more of their dish. Who knows, the 4* or 5* is in the other dish ;)

Below average Mexican food. My wife took me here after she had delicious salsa verde enchiladas about 6 months ago. This time the enchiladas were terrible. They were slathered in cheddar cheese and had almost no salsa verde sauce. My wife pointed this out to the server, who brought the sauce but it was the worst salsa verde I’ve ever tasted, really acidic and sour. My chicken mole burrito was really bland and the chicken in both dishes was dry and tough. The chips and salsa were ok but even the guacamole was just mashed avocado with tomato with no flavor at all. Even the horchata tasted watered down to round out our disappointing lunch. The only good thing was that our server noticed that we didn’t eat much of our plates and asked why. When my wife explained how she had had much better food there months ago, the server said she thought there had been a change of chefs a while back. Well they should do whatever they can to get the old chef back because their current chef«no sabe lo que hace.» The server did try to make things right by taking the enchiladas off our bill but even then I don’t see why we would come here again.

I love the vibe of this restaurant! Very chill environment with bright orange, Mexican décor and some outdoor seating. I haven’t dined in yet but I could picture myself sitting here on a summer night drinking(it’s BYOB!) and devouring many tacos… We made an order of 5 different dishes to go, and it was ready in about 12 minutes. The staff was super nice. I ordered the grilled fish burrito bowl which ended up tasting a lot healthier than I expected. Which is a good and bad thing I suppose lol. They gave me a lot of the grilled basa on a bed of rice, stringy melted cheese, beans, lettuce, and tomatoes. My brother loved his tacos, especially the avocado based sauce they put on. I will definitely be back here to try more of their food.

This place is the holy grail of tacos. I’ve been searching for a year for a good fish taco in the area. One that isn’t bartered and fried and made from good fish. Low and behold, Nacho Macho Taco came into my life. Everything is good, but their grilled fish tacos are the star. I would post a picture but I couldn’t wait any longer to eat them. The staff is super friendly and delivery is fast if you order take out. They have a BYOB policy so if you’re looking for a fun(cheap) night, this is good place to check out. Indoor and outdoor seating and it’s never too packed(which it should be).

This place is my saving grace. I’m embarrassed to admit, but I tend to order from here almost once a week. Their guacamole is so delicious. Very fresh and perfect consistency(for some reason, I’ve noticed that guacamole at other places tends to be either watery or too smooth). My absolute favorite things to order are the stewed chicken(tinga) quesadilla, the fish taco and the a la milanesa torta. All SO delicious… ugh I’m getting hungry just writing this review. Okay, focus. I also tried the side order of beans, just to add something extra filling to my meal. And they were so very good. Actually shocked by how good black beans can taste. Okay, I’ll stop now because this is pretty much becoming a creepy love letter to NachMachTac(that’s my pet name for them).

Get the steak, here. It makes all the difference. Good for a quick bite, with friendly service and fast delivery. I moved here from Southern California, so I’m a bit hard to please when it comes to Mexican food in NYC, but the steak tacos were spot on. I did try a few of the other options on the menu, but nothing I would order again. The chips, salsa, and guac were a little bland. I was hoping for a bit more with all the reviews. But as far as a quick, fresh bite to eat, this place takes the cake. Seriously though, get the steak.

One of the better, faster, cheaper Mexican places in the neighborhood. Came here for lunch yesterday and had a quesadilla. It was very good. Just cheese. You KNOW a place is DOINITRIGHT when they have BOTHCHOLULA and TAPATIO on EACHTABLE.(Those are my two favs.) Service was friendly. Food was delicious. Five bucks-ish.

Food is really quick and portions filling. The owner is super friendly and runs the place with his sons. Ingredients taste fresh and the meat is well seasoned. The burrito bowl is something more than your run-of-the-mill bowl and definitely my favorite. 10⁄10 will return.

I LOVETHISPLACE! Get the Nachos! The Nachos are the greatest! Chips always arrive crunchy! As are the burrito bowls and fish tacos! SO much food and it’s such great quality! They always deliver under twenty minutes and even though my apartment is not technically in their zone they still deliver to me if I just order over the phone. Employees are always nice, food is always delicious and arrives hot! Such a great price and you get SO much food! I order from here at least once a week. Not a joke.

I love Mexican food like I love my kids. Stumbled upon this place after an event, we were hungry and took to Unilocal to find a good spot to eat. The reviews did not lie, it was awesome. It was just three of us an hour before closing we were seated immediately and the place was not crowded at all. Our server was friendly answering our 2 million questions. The cane over with our complimentary chips and salsa as well as hibiscus water(never had it before but my was it tasty). I ordered the grilled chicken burrito bowl, the other two did an assortment of tacos with rice and beans. Delicious, rice and beans were flavorful and covered in stretchy, melty cheese… OMG. My burrito bowl was delicious as well I opted to add sour cream for .75 and another round of chips and salsa for $ 1.00 to eat with it. We left vey satisfied. Our bill came to 50.00 even, including the drinks we ordered. Wish I lived closer because I am a fan and would frequent this place.

Came here on a whim after visiting the Brooklyn museum for First Saturday. Our group consisted of seven people and we were potentially expecting three more. The Macho crew quickly set up the space so we could all for there. The food was delicious, the music was upbeat, and our waitress was friendly. We ordered quesadillas(the Macho one with the rice and beans is clutch!), burrito bowls, tacos, drinks(nonalcoholic, they don’t serve alcohol but it is BYOB) and I had the Macho nachos(of course). We also had sides of guacamole and such and everything was good. My friend’s quesadilla was cold and they remade it with the guacamole and sour cream on the side(the reason it was cold according to one of the waiters, perhaps a bit questionable but hey, they made her a new one and that one was poppin’). We ended up splitting the bill on multiple cards and cash and there was a little mix up but it was quickly resolved and we left full and happy! Will definitely return! Oh yes, and the best part? Super reasonably priced! We all ate for under $ 10.

Never get to hang around these parts of Brooklyn so was pretty pumped to try this Mexican joint out. Exactly the kind of food you’d expect at the price point that’s acceptable — they even give free chips & salsa to start(an unfortunately dying trend). Decided to sit outside and was able to quickly order the Grilled Fish taco($ 4) and Grilled Steak Torta($ 8.50) with a Horchata($ 2.50) to wash it down. Took a little while for the food to come out, but with the free starter, wasn’t really in a rush. Fish taco is solid, a little much on the toppings, but overall a good dish with a spicy kick. Torta was really good, huge sandwich with a meaty filling and melted cheese to balance the saucy interior. It was a struggle to finish(wasn’t THAT hungry), but managed to get most of it done. Horchata was standard — nothing to hype up about. Good value for a non-food truck Mexican spot. Lots of other things to try, so would definitely want to come back.

Great value mexican food can be had at the poetically named Nacho Macho Taco. I can’t say it was excellent but it was good enough. The steak taco was plain… the chorizo taco was too salty. But their lunch menu is a steal giving you 2 tacos, chips and a can of soda for under $ 8 before tax and tip. When you come to Nacho Macho Taco with a friend, you guys will look at each other and say«that wasn’t bad.»
