Overall lackluster experience. Ridiculously slow service. Overpriced for the area. The interior is cute, but my initial reaction(«Hey, this place is cute») quickly turned into a general state of annoyance(«Hey, bartender, quit stacking glasses and let me order a drink!»). The drink itself was good(mescal and pineapple cocktail), but I left after one round to go somewhere with a bit more personality.

Really love Two Saints as a night cap bar! Very fun(basement type) décor and usually pretty good music — sometimes they even have a DJ. The prices are good for the drink quality and they run some really great happy deals! You can also bring in food from other local establishments(looking at you, Chika)! Excited for their new Wednesday events(classic movies and old fashion specials)!

Hmmmm they were playing music using an ipad and every time a black music came on they will change it. Like hello your in crown heights where its full of African Americans. Why not play music that is suitable for the people that lives in the neighborhood? I dont care who lives in the neighborhood but just accommodate.

Came here thanks to a recommendation from a friend and I definitely feel like I may be a regular. I was a bit skeptical at first looking at the outside but once I walked in I was pleasantly surprised! Located in Crown Heights this bar is cute, cozy and to our surprise we arrived during happy hour. My friend and I had at least 5 drinks total and speaking of the drinks… the bartender was absolutely Excellent. I beleive her name was Julie. She was super friendly, attentive, and even made me her own special concoction which I absolutely loved. The music was great… they played a good mix of neo soul. I cannot wait to come back here on Monday nights. Very chill, cool laid back vibe. Perfect for a date.

I’ve always had a good time here. It’s definitely Rob’s doing. And probably Travis. And all that booze helps as well.

Ok. So I’ve been coming here for about 3 months. No lie this place is great. I rarely write reviews because I don’t care enough to. The staff is super cool and and friendly. It’s a perfect combination of a friendly cool and neighborhood bar. The manager Rob and the bartender Travis are good people.

Great bar to have in the neighborhood. They have an awesome reggae dj there on some nights. I’m not a huge game of the décor or the food, but it’s right around the corner from my house and an easy place to grab a drink on a cold night or on my way home from work. I do miss the cookies they used to sell from ovenly bakery.

I like this place, I really do. When I came here the first time, I thought, this can be my regular spot. The ambiance, the music, the lighting was perfect. Than I came back and you had some DJ blaring music, and I had to leave. I think I speak for most Crown Heightsers when I say that I don’t go to a local bar looking to party. I go to have a nice quiet drink with a date or a friend. If I want to party, there is a whole city for that. So please, let’s go back to dope jazz music and nice conversation and delicious drinks.

I have been looking for a bar like this since I moved to the area two months ago. I don’t know what took me so long to come, but now that I have, they’re gonna have trouble getting me to leave. The music is upbeat and has an indie bent, and the drinks are excellently made. The bartenders are super nice, and clearly like their job and each other(I can’t tell you how much it bothers me when bartenders or servers clearly hate each other). They are attentive but don’t breathe down your throat or make you feel rushed. The décor has a funky retro feel, and it works. If you’re coming this way, look for the disheveled grad student doing homework and pounding Old Cubans at the bar — chances are I’ll be here ;)

I just love this place — totally fell in love with it! The place is spacious and even has some nights with Djs playing your favorite tunes. They have a long bar with comfortable seats. They also have seats off to the corners if you want some private time. Not obnoxiously loud with great vibes. The staff is super friendly — thank you for making my visit(s) well worth it Emmanuel and Claire. BTW, Emmanuel makes a mean margarita. Cancel all your evening plans. Thanks, ill be back soon!:)

During our recent visit to Brooklyn we stopped in Two Saints for a drink after seeing a chalk board outside saying that they had a Gose on tap and a $ 5.00 happy hour on beer/well drinks M-F 4pm to 7pm. The décor of this place is awesome, makes you feel like you’re sitting in a cool 50’s bar. We immediately were welcomed by the two amazing bartenders Rob and Lainy — these guys were so great. Cannot express how fun it was chatting with them. Rebecca the GM was so knowledgeable about all of NY and what we should do while we were on vacation. She sent us to the most amazing places around the area, didn’t give a bad suggestion(and she makes the meanest Old Fashion around) — our weekend wouldn’t have been the same without these guys, we came back several times for a drinks because whenever we thought, «Where should we go?», everyone always immediately said that we should just go back to Two Saints to say hi to our favorite new bartenders. Next time we’re in New York(doesn’t matter where), we’ll be revisiting our favorite place in Brooklyn.

Two Saints was an awesome experience in our visit to Brooklyn! Rob and Lanny were very helpful, knowledgeable, and hilarious! We stopped in for $ 5 beers and well drinks for happy hour(M-F 4 – 7 pm) and were not disappointed. The staff seemed very happy and we’re excited for a second visit!

Saints definitely stands out in this area, nothing that this area is lacking but some good bars which I guess is the reason they opened here in the first place. The moment you walk in you feel weird about the settings from the tables, chairs and walls it feels awkward and doesn’t represent hip or modern neither does it represent old fashion or authentic anything. Certainly not French which is what I think they were going for based on the menu, or was it Italian. Had one of their mixed drinks which was really good but very small glass which didn’t make sense to me. I wouldn’t come back here

A laid back addition to the ever growing Crown Heights bar scene. I echo everyone else when I say the décor is great – the back corner has high retro vibes. All the bartenders I have chatted with were friendly as well. I helped host an event here and communication was great and the bartenders even extended happy hour for our group! The wine and beer list are on par with new bars – love the rosé they offer. Snacks are local patties which is a great nod to the community. For all the digs at Two Saints not meshing well with the neighborhood, both times I went the crowd was very diverse – young and old patrons of all races, happily chatting and getting their drink on. Maybe people needed sometime to warm up to a new space. I see more meet ups for drinks happening at this place in my future!

Finally, a chill bar in the neighborhood. Get an old fashioned. The staff here is extra friendly and if you play your cards right you may get a donut(from DOUGH). Slammin. These dudes ain’t fuckin around and I feel like they are assimilating well into the neighborhood despite the knee jerk reaction to people hating on gentrification, it’s a good mixes crowd. Chicken on rice across the street is also pretty good, so it’s a bonus. Also a really good local beer selection.

Two Saints NY Brooklyn Crown Heights 11pm Monday 1st June 2015 Four Stars This is amazingly upscale and affordable place to drink. Old Fashions are only $ 10 and a glass of old overholt for $ 8. It doubles as a café during the day and layout suits that better. The bartender was doubling as the DJ. It was mellow but still had a decent energy for a rainy Monday night.

This place is kitschy-cool, which is very welcomed by me. I can’t bring myself to sit on one more salvaged studio stool, at another railroad tie counter, under the light of an edison bulb. The feeling is roomy and relaxed, but still a little more ‘special’ than going to pub-style bar. Love that you can stop by during the day for a cheap cup of joe and a Dough donut(much preferred to Elsie’s Donuts nearby, where some of the flavored glazes are artificial tasting and ABC gum-like in texture). Most of the staff here are great — really friendly, capable, problem solving individuals. However, there’s one bartender who is a bit sullen — lacking in hospitality, and can really dampen the spirits(pun!) in the place. The last time my companion and I were there, we arrived around 4pm on a weekend with the intention of getting a few drinks before dinner at Gloria’s(No. 3). Upon sitting down in the empty(but for two other customers) bar, we ordered our drinks, and spontaneously decided to also order a donut from the selection sitting on the counter. The bartender made a to-do about it. Like, «I don’t even know what to put this on or what to use to grab it. I don’t usually deal with this stuff. Is a couple of cocktail napkins fine??»(«Perfectly fine!») We enjoyed polishing off the donut and our drinks, and a couple more customers sat down, and in that time, we’d heard the same bartender give excuses to why he couldn’t make a drink she requested a little less spicy than before(she obliged, «Ok, I’ll have it the same as last time then.») We also tried and failed to make eye contact with the bartender, even when employing waving-hand gestures. Mind you, we’re sitting at the 2⁄3 empty bar counter. When we did finally succeed, we asked for our bill instead of another round, and took ourselves to King Tai, where Happy Hour was getting started.(Two Saints also currently doesn’t offer a Happy Hour, which is an interesting choice.)

I went here last night for the first time and found it unremarkable. It’s a perfectly fine local spot. I am a gin fiend and ordered the«Well aren’t you fancy». Again, their cocktail menu is uninspired, but will do the job. It’s more hip than the next closest bar Nostrand Ave Pub, which will bring in a certain clientele. The décor was interesting. I liked it but couldn’t shake the feeling it would be similar to one of my creations when I’m wasted and decide to rearrange my furniture into some new brilliant setup– that is to say slightly disjointed.
