A Car Tune

Very nice place, I was from out of town and had a brake noise and told him I was worried because I still had over 1000 miles of driving ahead of me. They didn’t take advantage of the situation, checked everything out told me brakes were fine and only did an oil change as I requested. No hidden charges, very nice owner. Highly recommend.

Four words come to mind when speaking about Nancy and her company «A Car Tune»: Honesty, Integrity, Competence, and Friendliness. We have been coming here for years because of the excellent service, good prices, and customer care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best car care available!

Nancy Lingway is nothing short of the best (and funniest!) mechanic in the area. Honest, witty, laid back with customers and meticulous with cars, she is an absolute GEM. Nancy has given me advice countless times… how to save myself from an expensive repair down the road, why you should fill your car from half to full not empty to full, what types of cars would be good for me next. She is comfortable (and highly entertaining) in the role of teacher and has offered to teach me how to change a tire or jump a car. For free. She doesn’t like the idea of young women being helpless regarding car trouble, so she volunteers to teach you. That’s just one of many testaments to her character I could offer here.
Her experience combined with her honesty and spunk make A-​Car-​Tune my preferred shop for my crappy-​yet-​reliable sedan. I’ll be with Nancy the rest of my car driving life!

Nancy is a great person who likes things done the right way, the first time. She has helped me with my old Camry on multiple occasions. Currently they are re-​doing a botched brake job that Car X sold me on.

Nancy is a fantastic mechanic. She is straight forward and honest. I have had my cars services here for many years. She works with me to ensure I understand what actually needs to be done and why. My little brothers car was a death trap. The power steering was shot, which is an accident waiting to happen when it’s icy outside. Looking for a trustworthy mechanic I decided to see Nancy at A Car Tune.
Nancy is a spunky, spitfire kind of person. Don’t let her colorful language or occasional political rant deter you from coming here.
Nancy is an excellent mechanic who is honest and wants you to to drive safely but not spend more than you need to. She fixed our car for a great price and took a look for any other possible future work so we could plan for it. She cares a great deal about her customers and the integrity of her work.

Always awesome. Nancy (the owner) is so honest and only does work that actually needs to be done. Her waiting room is full of cards and thank you letters from so many people, and I know they are deserved. She helped me when I was buying a new car and always gives advice on anything auto without charging a dime. Her employees are just as great.
