House of Candles looks like an abandoned little shop in the middle of nowhere. So naturally, it caught my boyfriend’s eye as we drove by and we just had to stop in. I looked it up first to confirm that it’s even open, and I found the website. It looks like since 1981, they’ve supplied all the double wick candles for the entertainment industry, and they also do custom candles, so given that there were no reviews, I was even more intrigued. We walked in to discover a small room full of all the different kinds of candles you can imagine. Long, short, thick, thin, colored, solid, religious, for special events, everything. The candles are works of art. Most are unscented, but they have a small scented candles collection. The lady was very friendly too and didn’t push anything on us. If you’re looking for custom candles or just want to decorate your home with special candles, this is the place.
