So I came back to my favorite pizza place and this time I brought company. My sister is in town and thought I’d show this place off. Ordered 3 pepperoni pizzas. They took 3 old cheese pizza, put pepperoni a little cheese warmed it up and served it. No good. They made another one. I don’t know what happened but the cheese was different and the crust was under cooked, not crispy. I’m giving 4 starts because I know the pizza to be better.

Delayed review. Surprisingly the first thing that jumps in my mind when i think this place is the excellent customer service. You can really tell that this is a real passion for the owners, and they want you to have a fulfilling experience. Who doesn’t want returning customers when they live 3 blocks away from you. This is a pizza place so the review should be on the pie. So good. So generous on toppings. So big. definitly will order again.

It’s 8:31pm(literally 8:31pm-I checked my phone) on a Saturday night, we order salad and a slice of pizza. Helen is working the register and asks us if we’re taking the food to go. We say no, we’d like to stay and eat. Helen gets an attitude tells us that they close at 9pm PROMPT and they’ll start pulling tables in 10 minutes before close. She repeats herself and tells us «We close at 9pm sharp.» I reminded her of the time, told her we will be out before they close. She turned her nose up at us so fast I almost walked right back out that door. For a small local business who puts Bible Scriptures on their pizza boxes, you sure know how to make a customer feel unwelcome. If you’re so concerned about closing shop by 9pm, I suggest you stop serving food at 8:30 and turn OFF your OPEN sign. I also suggest you remove your Bible verses since clearly you do not care how you treat customers. Is that how Jesus would have treated us? Shaking my head… I believe in supporting small businesses especially my neighborhood pizza shop… however, you have set me over the edge. I will never forget the way you made us feel. Helen, please turn off the open sign by 8:30pm that way you’ll surely close by 9pm PROMPT. TERRIBLE terrible customer service.

Stopped in just as they were closing yet treated me like I was the very first customer. Ordered two slices of pepperoni. While I waited staff offered some mac & cheese said was a new recipe, it was absolutely amazing. I’ve heard good things about this place, now I know for myself. Good people making great food…

Looking for Italian food at lunch and found this place. We were seated right away and when the food came it was all very good. Pasta and pizza were both excellent as well as the sangria. Definite spot to come back to!

I stopped by for a meatball sub, excellent meatball, made in their Kitchen, tender flavorful meatballs in a delicious tomato sauce adorn a crispy roll. One of the best in LA.

Wow– this is the first time I am writing a review since I have moved from NY to LA. At the same time, this is the same time I have been so impressed by Italian food since I moved to the area! The pizza crust has the perfect NY consistency, chewy, yet crisp and thick. The eggplant in the sandwich I ordered also is cooked and breaded to perfection! Eggplant has the tendency to be either too fried or too moist, but Victor Jr’s maintained the perfect balance. I will absolutely order from here again!

This place is awesome! The half order of spaghetti with meat sauce is delightful and plenty of food for one person. I love the mom-and-pop feel and you feel really good supporting the little guy. I will definitely be back!

Delicious pizza!!! I love their chicken barbeque pizza and veggie pizza! Love their banana chocolate chip cake! Great customer service and fast delivery. I do not like their 15 percent delivery charge and their pizzas are more on the high end but they come loaded with toppi gs and flavor!!! I am also touched by the bible scriptures on the boxes… yes, GODISMYPROTECTOR. GODISGOOD!!!

I was looking for some cheap, comforting Italian food and Victor’s did not disappoint. I ordered the eggplant parm dinner plate for takeout and brought it home to find a massive plate of delicious food. I shouldn’t have eaten the whole thing because it was way too much food, but I couldn’t stop. Victor’s will be my go to quick Italian comfort spot!

Amazing food, I wish they were open more often! I either get a chicken parmesan sub or cheese pizza by the slice when I go to Victor Jr’s, though everything on the menu looks great.

I love this place and that will never change. I went for a craving of a tuna sandwich and it didn’t disappoint. They are literally great for eveything– sandwiches, spaghetti, pizza and the salads. The place is tiny so I usually get it to go and eat in my office nearby. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! We got some garden salads with Ranch dressing, mozzarella sticks, and a pepperoni and sauage pizza(one size, eight large NY style slices). Everything came out so fresh!!! Large portions and we were able to split among the four of us(although we are light eaters). I especially like the crust of the pizza. Outdoor seating. Seems like lots of people order takeout. I think they deliver as well. Street parking. Free after six. We will definitely come back!

Chicken parm sandwich was big and served on a nice toasted roll, but it was a little greasy, and the red sauce was unremarkable. Prices were pretty good, so I’ll go back and try another sandwich.

I love Victor Jr’s!!! Their salads are AWESOME! My favorites are the Chopped Italian Salad and the Chinese Chicken Salad. The dressings they have are to died for!!! It’s a small business with great service and food.

A classic New York style pizza/deli/hot sandwich joint hidden in a small little establishment in Culver City. I got the Philly Cheese Steak and will definitely be coming back to try the pizza because the Philly Cheese Steak was very good! Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. It’s no Philly’s Best for those that have had that, but it was solid. Street Parking. Small place, but has a couple tables outside to eat there if you want. I’ll come back and add to my review once I’ve tried the pizza! In the meantime, give it a chance for something new!

Victor Jr.‘s is a longtime Culver City institution. it’s survived the slow-but-steady gentrification(yeah i said it) of the downtown area because of its commitment to quality and service. it’s family-owned, and everything is made in-house, from the sauces to the meatballs to the pizza dough. the owners are local residents and are super-supportive of many local charities & educational organizations. sure, they have their competition from the rash of other Italian places that have sprung up around the area, but if you want a surefire excellent pizza, or great pasta, or other deliciousness, you will not be disappointed by Victor Jr.‘s. every time i’ve ever been there, or have ordered to-go, the service is super friendly and fast.
