I’m on a huge sandwich kick these days and Ike being around town really helps the cravings. Really fun staff and great names. Plus, the Dutch Crunch is clutch. There’s a sandwich place in LA called All About The Bread, and that’s a motto I’ve really gotten behind. A sandwich with amazing bread becomes an amazing sandwich. And warm Dutch Crunch is nothing short of miraculous. After staring at menu for 15 minutes I settled on the Ménage a Trois on the Dutch Crunch, light on the sauce. It’s a good thing I said light on the sauce, because it was pretty sauce heavy and who knows how much worse it could have gotten. The bread was delicious and made the sandwich. The chicken was the worst part, way too dry and bland(no wonder they rely so heavily on the sauce). The veggies were cold and fresh. Definitely coming back.

I come to this ike’s very often. Their sandwich could be a little bit pricy but its worth the money. This store have a decent size. The table could fit like 4 – 5 people. Otherwise you have to sit on the side near the window. The restroom is in a hidden small walk way lol Their sanwich is on point all the time. I usually get whatever roasted beef, avocado, and dutch sandwich. They are so good. You can check in on Unilocal to get a free snack or show them your student id to get a free drink.

Wow, they have some amazing menu items here! Sandwiches I’ve never seen anywhere else. It was packed but the line moved quickly and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I went for the Aaron Eckhart and added bacon and avocado. It was a tasty sandwich, but I wish there was a bit more bbq sauce. You almost couldn’t taste it. It was tough to even choose a sandwich because so many sounded good, I’ll definitely be back!

Anyone rating this place above a two star smokes weed and needs to satisfy their munchies. This place is downright dishonest how they advertise to vegan crowds and vegetarians to convince them that they are eating healthy. The breads here are processed and not whole grains. Although technically they may not use animal parts, they certainly use lots of fats, sugars, and salts. It defeats the purpose of eating vegan or healthy. But they certainly fooled all the thousands of people rating this place. We are talking a glorified Sub Way!!! I went for the vegetarian sandwich and is was tasty. I thought the sandwich was a little large and heavy as it went down. I looked up the calories and low and behold the healthy vegetarian sandwich is 780 calories. Thanks Ike’s, that just cost me a 7 – 8 mile run to burn that off! In the future, I’m going across the street to Whole Foods to get my vegetarian sandwich on whole grain bread — organic veggies, and a freshly cut coconut.

Dutch crunch and dirty sauce make Ike’s the king of sandwiches. My go-to order is Spiffy Tiffy or the Menage a Trois(if you’ve go the extra scratch, feel free to add bacon) with all the fixin’s and red onions. Parking lot only has a dozen spaces, so I’d try non-peak hours. Love that caramel apple pop, too.

Consider this a worthy splurge! My hard-earned dollars are usually spent on food I can cook at home. I found this location on my way to a concert and it’s on the way to the home of a relative. When I visit, this is where I go.

I can dig it. I’m a sandwich lover by trade; don’t get sick of sandwiches even if I have it everyday for a whole year. But I must Ike’s pulled a fast one one me. I love their set up and the different Bae sports named sandwiches. I had the Matt Cain and I must say the joint was wrapped to perfection with the meats rolled(literally) in the bread in a way the taste of the three types of meat were balanced in every bite. Dat roll technique is on fleek. The sauce was boss and was super flavorful. They toast the bread and of course gotta hit up the Dutch crunch doe. I’m a big town fan of this shop. The service was average and chill haha. The prices were a little high but bay prices going up a bit anyway so not complaining bro!

The sandwiches(while a little pricy) are flat out yummy. That’s it. Yummy. (The post got tagged for being to short, well I’m sorry I got better things to do than type out a long review when there is such yummy goodness in my hands… So if your hungry and you have coin, eat here the food is … I repeat … Yummy)

I usually am not a big sandwich guy but ever since being introduced to Ikes, that has changed. At first, I wasn’t sure what to order but I was recommended to try the Ménage a Trois. My first impression was wow this is the juiciest sandwich I’ve ever had and how flavorful it was. Since I’m a spicy type of person, I really liked the kick the jalapeños had. Not only that but it was crunchy which is a plus. Whenever I try other sandwiches at other places, their meat tends to be dry but Ikes knows how to make the perfect meat. For the bread, I went with the sourdough because it gives a sour tastes that compliments Ménage a Trois in my opinion. Would I come back to this place? Of course! I recommend this place to those who are sandwich lovers and those who aren’t. P. S. They give you a caramel lollipop whenever you order there!

I’m a little late to the Ike’s hype, but I’ve ALWAYS wanted to try this place and I finally found a perfect opportunity! I only like chicken sandwiches since I don’t care for other deli meats. I ordered the Harrison Barnes, which is fried chicken, marinara and provolone cheese. Total came out to about $ 9.77. This was my first time here and it was beyond amazing!!! The Dutch crunch roll was super fresh! Soft, yet chewy! I hate old, tough bread especially when I’m paying a good amount of money in a sandwich! The sandwich tasted amazing! It’s my new favorite! I ordered online(through Unilocal) and my food was hit and ready when I went to pick it up! This location has a good amount of seating for those that want to eat in. But their service is fast and efficient! I will definitely be coming back! Free chips with Unilocal check in!

Ever go off the menu at Ike’s? You should totally do so! I am a huge fan of the Dirty Ernie(meatball, red pesto, ranch, cheeeeeese), which I get on wheat with no vegetables. It is delicious! Not being a huge fan of sandwiches, there is always something(these days, it’s the Dirty Ernie) at Ike’s that can tempt me when I’m even close to being in a sandwich mood. To find all of the lovely other sandwiches not on the menu at Ike’s, download their mobile app. Not only can you search sandwiches for ingredients, you have access to hundreds(I don’t think I’m exaggerating) of sandwiches and can order ahead of time for pick up, bypassing the lines! Whee! ps If you check in on Unilocal, you get a free bag of chips!

Very conveniently located. Right outside de Anza, next to panda. I love myself some Ike’s. Ménage is my fav. The sandwiches are expensive but they are huge too, so kind of makes up for the price. The guys generally finish up their sandwiches, but we ladies always end up with some of our sandwich to go. The staff is friendly. I like that they support small companies by carrying their stuff instead of big company chips And sodas. My mouth is watering just writing this review. I need some Ike’s real soon!

Ike’s has been one of my go-to sandwich spots in the Bay for years now, and it’s just as good as it was when I first started coming here. The Matt Cain and Menage A Trois are my favorites, of course on dutch crunch bread, and I love that they have unique sodas and chips(try the Zapp’s Voodoo flavored chips!!). The caramel apple lollipop they throw into the bag always brings me back to my childhood and is such a cute way to finish off the meal. The only downside is that the prices have gone up since they first opened, and you can no longer just order half a sandwich, which is often enough for me. Other than that, everything here is spot on!

This has been a pretty popular location for students since it’s next to a community college. You can literally walk here from De Anza. I’ve always liked Ike’s sandwiches and this place is no different. I find it pretty clean and organized even though it’s constantly busy. It’s always crowded no matter when I go here. However they have quick service even with long lines. Just don’t always expect that you’ll have a seat when you come here. I always like to drop in, get my sandwich, and eat somewhere else. Pick a sandwich from the chalkboard and check-in to Unilocal and get your free bag of chips. Don’t forget to sign-in to your Belly account to collect points for free sandwiches. My picks for any sandwiches have been Dutch crunch bread with all the fixings. The bread always tastes fresh and that extra light crunch adds to the texture contrast of the sandiwch. It always comes slightly warm too, which makes it soft too. You do have to ask to include all the fixings(peppers, mustard, etc) or they won’t add it. The bread, meat, fixings, and condiments mixed together always brings a smile to my face. :-) My picks: — 660(pastrami & bacon, avocado), — the ex-girlfriend(chicken, bacon, & avocado) See a trend? Gotta have my bacon and avocado. Haha Whether you try something new or stick with an old favorite, you’ll have a great sandiwch at Ike’s.

After passing by this location a number of times, it was high time that I stop by and try them out. The only other Ike’s I had been to was the one at SFSU while I was a college student there. For having to pay over $ 10 just for the sandwich alone, I wasn’t necessarily expecting some serious gourmet $#!%, but I was still expecting to get my money’s worth… which I didn’t. I asked specifically for no tomatoes. Was told no problem. What did I find inside my sandwich after unwrapping it at home? You guessed it. Tomatoes. The cashier asked me if I wanted a receipt. I said yes. After my transaction was finished, my receipt was tossed straight into the trash. As for the sandwich itself, it wasn’t terrible, but the flavor that I was expecting just wasn’t there. I had the Matt Cain. Of course, the free lollipop was nice and the employees whom I dealt with were friendly. Maybe I just came in on an off day. I don’t know. Will I return? Not sure. 2 stars

I love this place!!! Tons of sandwiches to chose from. I got the Mayoose’s CA-BLT (Avocado, Bacon, choice of cheese, Lettuce, Tomato) — super filling and tons of avocado and bacon!!! I really liked the bread– flavorful! Me gusta!

Ike’s for the most part has never ever let me down. When I feel that animalistic hunger taking over while I’m sitting in a 3 hour lab class, the juicy roast beef in the Nacho Boy is pretty much all I’m thinking about. For those of you who are new to the slightly overwhelming world of Ike’s and all their glorious sandwiches – you can’t really go wrong with any of them. My favorites are the Nacho Boy(roast beef, avocado, mushroom, swiss), the Spiffy Tiffy(halal chicken, pesto, mushrooms, pepper jack I believe) and the Sometimes I’m a Vegetarian(pesto, marinated artichoke hearts, grilled mushrooms, provolone). One of the most amazing things about Ike’s is the ability to customize to the max. Feeling more like eating on the healthier side? They have whole wheat and gluten-free options. Feeling like you might have to order 2 sandwiches just for yourself? You can just order double meat and maybe add in some deep-fried mozzarella sticks up in that baby. I won’t tell if you won’t. Line can get long of course; and no this isn’t Subway. It takes a little longer to get your sandwich but that is because it is a delicate and marvelous creation and it cannot be rushed. Overall it is a great spot and I keep it in my standard rotation of lunch spots in Cupertino. The lollipop for dessert is just the sweetest touch ;)

Wow. I’m actually kind of mad that I got Ike’s for lunch today. I was on my way back to San Francisco from South Bay and wanted to stop by the Hawaiian BBQ place right next door, but they were closed and I haven’t had Ike’s in a while so I decided to go here instead. The line was very long, but the good thing is that it went by very quickly, which is a plus. I placed my order and paid and proceeded to wait for my sandwich. I got the foxy boxy with extra dirty sauce. I checked in and got a free chip so I picked the voodoo heat. I sat down and opened my sandwich and was immediately disappointed. There was ONE very thin layer of meat. I asked for EXTRA dirty sauce and there was still barely in my sandwich. The chips honestly had more flavor than the sandwich. The sandwich is also a lot smaller than what I remember and for $ 10, I don’t think it’s that worth it. I probably won’t be going back to any Ike’s again.

Delicious! I tried the Steve Jobs on Dutch Crunch bread and Sometimes I’m a vegetarian in whole wheat. The Steve Jobs with breaded fried eggplant, artichoke hearts, pesto, ranch and cheese plus lettuce tomato and secret sauce was very rich. I was worried the ranch would be overpowering but it was not. I will admit it is pretty heavy if you are looking for a light lunch. The Sometimes I’m a Vegetarian was a bit lighter and for a relatively healthy eater — I would say the incremental yumminess of the dutch crunch isn’t so much so that I would choose it next time. I would go with the whole wheat which is almost just as good. This sandwich was a bit tangier and without any fried foods felt a bit lighter — but still quite rich and heavy. Next time, I might opt out of the secret sauce and try the meatless mike or a turkey sandwich. I would definitely go back here for a good sandwich fix.

I might be picky with sandwiches for thinking Ike’s is just okay, but truth be told, when I think of an amazing sandwich, Ike’s isn’t the first place that comes to mind. Ike’s isn’t on my «always craving» list either. Ike’s definitely uses quality meats, veggies and bread. It’s tasty, but I don’t feel like the sandwiches are as filling as I would like. A few more slices of meat would definitely do the trick! There are times where I feel like I’m just eating a vegetable sandwich when I ordered a meat sandwich. That’s something that has bothered me about all the sandwiches I’ve had here. Besides that fact, I really like how there’s plenty of options here for meats, bread, cheese, and veggies. There are even sandwiches for vegetarians. They also have a variety of sodas. They also carry Zapp’s potato chips, and I HIGHLY recommend the«voodoo» flavor, which is now my new favorite chip flavor! It’s like a vinegar bbq, sounds gross, but it’s delicious. I also love that Ike’s gives you a caramel apple lollipop as a complimentary dessert with every sandwich you buy.

Was für geile Sandwiches!
