Love their food and it’s extremely fresh! I love their shaggy dog. Their service is really good and they have a good wine selection.

Really good food and the lunch special includes a well portioned entrée, soup, rice, and egg roll. The service was nice and quick. Great décor!

Allergens are not a strong point unfortunately. Food is good but we came for sushi and it was 3 star sushi. No complaints on the staff very friendly just not good at speaking English especially if your trying to say your girlfriend has celiacs and can’t have gluten. Soup was cold too. Second time trying this place since it opened was hoping for improvement since we can walk there. No such luck.

Always good. Rice on sushi is cold though and I don’t like that, but everything else has been good.

Mediocre at best. The presentation was beautiful and staff was nice but that’s about all I can say for this place. Won’t be going again.

Bo Bo Garden is friendly, clean, fresh and delicious. Cindy, our waitress, was extremely respectful, kind and welcoming. My family and I enjoyed every dish as they each were incredibly fresh, flavorful and tasty. We all had lunch specials, which were great for the price and taste. This is a great place. We plan on coming back to try their extensive sushi menu.

Pleasantly suprised. The outside of the restaurant looks very simple, in a shopping strip. Was looking for a healthy option for lunch on my way home. I ordered hot & sour soup and a sushi roll. My son ordered wonton soup and chicken & artichoke dish. Our meal was absolutely delicious! You can tell all of the food & ingredients are fresh. I cannot remember the name of sushi, was suggested to me by the waitress — but it was absolutely devine. I have to say that I can be somewhat of a snob when it comes to sushi but this place is legit. I felt a Lil guilty having such a great meal at new restaurant without my husband lol. But the ambience is very nice and very clean. We cannot wait to go back. I’m very glad to have discovered this little gem so near. Would have given 5 stars but I only ordered a small lunch.

WOW! What an awesome surprise. The interior is not at all what you expect from its unassuming curb appeal. Tucked away in a small strip center you would never guess that just inside the doors lies an adorable, slightly chic restaurant with cool décor, nice lighting, stone walls, modern bamboo artwork and more. The place is clean, the wait staff friendly and the food was just as good. Tasty, authentic, fresh and fairly priced. What more can you ask for? We love this place, and even better it is just a few minutes from our new home. Will return soon for sure!

Ordered from the lunch menu and enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, won ton soup, and egg roll. The service was excellent and the restaurant was nice and clean.

I get my nails done at Grants Nails, and they were really busy today, so I decided to have lunch next door at Bo Bo while we waited for it to die down a bit. I just moved to the area, so we are still feeling out restaurants. This place did not disappoint! They serve Chinese food and sushi, but we just went for the sushi since we wanted a light lunch. The fish was extremely fresh, service was prompt and polite, and the establishment was very clean. We had the shaggy dog, fire Crocker and salmon sashimi. Everything was perfect and what I would expect from and good sushi restaurant. May have to add this as a staple to my nail day!

The restaurant is a lovely atmosphere, albeit somewhat small, but a really well-done interior design. Aside from that, this place is OK for what it is: typical Chinese food outside of Chinatown. The menu has the usual fare you would expect of this kind of place. The sushi was a disappointment and for the size and quality of rice used definitely not worth the price tag. The food, however, does have a fresh quality to it, which tends to be lacking at most«Chinese» joints in NW Houston. The meal I had was decent enough, but certainly not memorable compared to the items you can get closer to Chinatown(for good reason, admittedly). There is probably room for improvement, and I think it could if it trimmed a lot of the dishes from its menu and focused instead on actual Chinese cuisine and kicked out the sushi service. For what it is, and taking into consideration where it’s located, it certainly is worth giving a chance.

Maybe a little closer to 3.5 but they’re still new and I’m sure they’ll earn the extra! This is a nice little place in the strip mall on the same property as the HEB that’s opened up there on Spring Cypress. Interior is nice — the Japanese mural is neat to look over while waiting for the food! Speaking of which — my wife and I went around lunch time on a weekday. The lunch roll special, for what we received, wasn’t exceptional value but YMMV! Eel and Spicy Salmon for us. The rice was on the dry side being the only negative there. My wife did enjoy her steamed shrimp w/vegetables and garlic sauce — no rice for her! The sauce was great. I went with the lunch-size kung pao chicken, which was alright. The egg roll that came with it was good, the hot and sour soup was also good but a bit thin — I didn’t mind that. If you’re after an easy night out or some takeaway, I’d recommend this place.

So excited this place opened up around the corner from our house. My hubs and I are super foodies, and since he is from Taiwan, so our standards for all foods«Asian» are pretty high. We have ordered both Chinese and Japanese entrees and have been very pleased with both. The Homestyle Tofu and the BoBo Roll and our favorites so far. As someone else noted, beware the peppers on the menu. Unlike other places, when they mark it as spicy… they actually mean it is spicy. We love spicy though, so all good! The people are really nice and very sweet with our little one. We always enjoy our visits.

We were up in the air… Grab sandwiches from the HEB in this parking lot or trying a new Chinese food place. I have high standards for Chinese food, but we wanted to see if we could find a new place closer to home. It took awhile to get our drinks, but we waited them out. Our soup orders came out with a complimentary bowl of crispy won ton chips. They were nice, except for the ants crawling in the bowl. Yup, ANTS. My husband offered to leave right then, but I wanted to give it an honest try. We should of left. The won tons in my soup were gummy and didn’t have much meat. Husband loved his Hot and Sour Soup, but he hardly orders soups… So there is that. He did say it was the better hot and sour soup he has had. We got crab rangoons as an appetizer. Very little crab. My husband said there was nonsense, but I’ll be generous. Basically fried cream cheese in won tons. Overly sweet. Big ol nope. When it comes to fried rice, there are really two types… The light brown kind and the dark brown kind. I really dislike the lighter one. I don’t like raw onions in it and the meat should have flavor. Their’s missed all those marks. Traded for the husband’s orange chicken and it was so-so. Dry and weird flavor. Overall a disappointing venture. Slow service, questionable bug practices for a new restaurant, and substandard Chinese food. We would have been better off eating hot sandwiches from HEB.

Very good sushi. Food was fresh and the service was excellent. I’m local to the area and I will be back. I saw other Chinese entrees on tables and everything looked very appetizing. If you’re wondering about this place, stop in and you will be pleasantly surprised at the level of food they put out. Now if I could only get them to deliver! I have been here many times since my first review. I am amazed at the quality and presentation of every meal they prepare. Best Chinese within 15 miles easy.

MR says … Bo Bo should offer loyalty card for customers like us MRS says … we still haven’t tried their sushi. Haven’t ordered take out either. BUT we LOVE to dine at Bo Bo. It’s usually not crowded so why bother doing dishes at home right? They’re open until 9:30pm everyday except Friday and Saturday(they’re open until 10pm) Below dishes are great tasting food … — Happy Family — sauteed veggies in a crispy edible bowl. nice presentation — Sauteed Asparagus — unlike Hunan River Bistro where you can count the number of asparagus, when Bo Bo says its ‘asparagus’ you get real and lots of asparagus. Some stems were a little tough though but it was still good vegetable dish — Lo Mei — its like chow mein, soft noodle and they use the flat ones — House special soup — comes with broccoli, beef, chicken. broth is nice — Roast bbq pork with broccoli — they don’t skimp on the roast bbq pork Wondering what’s the difference between house special fried rice over the Bo Bo fried rice? House fried rice comes with pork BBQ.

Quite good, in fact, dare I say the best Chinese we have had in the Houston area. Stopped by for some take-out this past week. They have recently opened, and we have been wanting to give it a try. Service was very friendly and even a bit funny. Here is what we got: Chicken fried rice, spicy, no peas-Very tasty, but not really spicy. Lots of chicken. Kung Pao Chicken, no bell peppers-Tasty and spicy, but way too much celery. Jalapeño Beef, no bell peppers-Very spicy with lots of jalapenos. I really enjoyed this dish. However, I guess they thought no bells meant just green bells since they still added red bell peppers. The little things above made it miss the 5 star mark for me, but we will certainly be back.

Great Chinese food! Their hot and sour soup is amazing!!! Beware that anything spicy here is truly SPICY! But I love spicy.
