My friend and I ordered Tsoa’s Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken and both dishes were excellent. The spicy chicken dish had just the right kick without being overwhelming, and the portion sizes were huge. I had the hot and sour soup to start off with and loved it. The menu options were extensive, the restaurant is very well decorated, and everything, even the bathrooms, were very clean. I did think it was weird that very few other people were there during lunch hour and there was no background music. But I will definitely we going again.

My husband and I both had lunch to go from this place. Only minutes later we both experience stomach pain and diarrhea and total regret of wasting our money. The food had a good flavor yet made us both sick. I should have walked out when I see no one sitting to eat lunch.

I really want to like this place but it just isn’t amazing, but yet not horrible. Although the portions are huge, except for the crab puffs. Nothing wonderful, I probably wont be back

As a Chinese, I really like the ShabuShabu. Especially the beef shabu. The beef is so fresh and nice. And the service is very well, the desk and chair so clean. Hope come back soon.

Omg!!! They sell really old type Chinese food !!! It reminds me my grandpa !!! I was there last Friday night with my friends. We ordered couple dishes. Everything else was perfect, but the fried rice. I love the Volcano Shrimp !!! It is so spicy ! But I love it ! And the egg drop soup also is good !! Btw, the service was about average, definitely will come back !!

This place is off the chain GOOD! This is the 1st place I’ve eaten at when you order something spicy(volcano chicken and beef) it’s SPICY! The panfried dumplings are good as is the hunan chicken. This is our 3rd time here and they have yet to disappoint. Friendly service to boot!

My search is over! This is the kind of Chinese place I love. Clean, great consistent food, and friendly staff. They have lunch and dinner combo plates priced very well($ 7-$ 10). Combos come with soup, egg/spring roll, and fried or steamed rice. To top it off, you get quantity and quality here. My wife and I usually split one dish and leave full. The meat they use is definitely higher quality than most Chinese places. This is my go to spot from now on. Keep up the good work.

I was highly optimistic about this place. I read a lot of great reviews so I figured it had to be good. We ordered the Orange Chicken, chicken lo mein, Volcano shrimp, egg rolls and won ton soup. First, the egg rolls looked like spring rolls. And they had no taste. The Orange Chicken gets a nod for being juicy white meat, but the taste was lacking on this dish as well. I was excited that you can get fried rice with the meals(instead of just white rice). But the fried rice tasted like it was out of a box(like Ramen noodles). And we ordered chicken lo mein but got shrimp lo mein… and again, the flavor was just off on top of being the wrong item. The won ton soup was just not good. I can’t even say why, it just didn’t taste good. The only thing that was palatable was the volcano shrimp. The one plus is that delivery was fast and the food was hot. But the flavor was just not there. Too many other good places around here with much better food.

We Love this new Chinese Restaurant. I like their General Tso’s Chicken. It has more chicken in it than I believe I have ever been served before and tastes wonderful. Also like their Shrimp & Sweet Walnuts. The décor is very. The service is wonderful. And the staff are very friendly. Try it! You will like it too!

Been wanting to try this new little place out for awhile — glad we did. Ordered the Orange chicken which was very good and very large portions. The pieces of chicken were HUGE yet they were perfectly cooked. Juicy on the inside and slightly crispy on the out. Obviously made fresh. I would say the price point is a tad high but it is good food and good service. Very quiet — almost no one there. If you want fresh chinese in the Cypress then come check them out.

I only give 5 stars to the very best. Golden Spoon gets 4 stars because they are very good — not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had but for a strip center restaurant, surprisingly good. I had the lunch combo Garlic Chicken, my wife had the Sesame Chicken. The soups came out first. I had hot and sour which actually had a sour note, not just so much spice that it burns like most places. It had some heat but just enough and was cut by the sour. In a very good way! It was full of vegetables and the noodles had a nice texture and it includes big chunks of all white meat chicken. My wife’s Won Ton soup was OK, not the best she’s had but a good broth and three wontons. Both cups were steaming hot — a rarity these days! My garlic chicken was fantastic! A nice thick brown sauce with onlon, water chestnuts, mushroom and noodles/sprouts. The chicken was white meat and very tender. I judge all garlic chicken by the dish at Café Chino and this came very close. The sauce was very similar. Add in some sliced celery for a little more crunch and it would be exactly the same. The water chestnuts provide some texture but the taste is distinct. A very good dish. My wife had the sesame chicken. Again, she was impressed with the quality of the chicken used. It was all white, nice size pieces with none or the rib meat«gristle» that comes in many chicken dishes at other restaurants. She said the sauce was thick and good but could have been slightly sweeter. But she prefers the sesame sauce to be sweet — just her preference. This was very good on its own. We were the only customers(came in right at opening however 11am) and the service was good. Our drinks were always refilled before going empty. And the waitress came when needed, stayed away when not. Good service! They have lunch combos, most around $ 7.00 that include soup, spring roll and entrée. They will also do the same combo for dinner(nice!) for slightly more, around $ 8.50 each. We were told that they have another location in Bellville, TX that has been open for over 20 years. I hope this can make it that long here as well. It’s off to a good start!

I went to Golden Spoon the first time with my friends last week. The owner and the waitress are very nice and treated us well. We ordered Curry Chicken, Pepper Beef and Volcano Shrimp. The food we ordered is very delicious. I would say this is the best Chinese restaurant in Cypress.

We tried lots of delicious things on our first visit: sweet and sour chicken, Hunan chicken, szechwan beef. We tried all the soups, too. Hands down the best Chinese food in Cypress. Hand-rolled egg rolls ROCKED! And wonderful service. Can’t wait to visit again. And YES they deliver!
