I think the prices here are a bit… pricier than what i’m accustomed in the SGV. about $ 8 – 10 per bowl whereas it’d be $ 6 – 7 in the SGV. eh. The portions were okay. I don’t think there was very many meat balls or meat in the phở at all. Food was decent. Simply average, nothing outstanding. probably would try the vermicelli if i was ever back in the area… not much to write about

Good Phở, poor attitude by our waitress. College girl who acted like she didn’t want to be bothered. Never going back.

Unilocal challenge 2016. 9⁄116 Oodles and Oodles of noodles and a flashy PHO sign. Located on Lincoln in Buena Park across from The Post office. Plenty and plenty of parking. The place is nothing fancy at all. Its been here for YEARS. So it needs a make over. But thats okay! Dont let the looks steer you away. Service for me has always been fast and friendly. Water was brought out within 30 seconds of sitting down and was always refilled. Server answered all my questions on how the meat is prepare. Yes, Im picky with my meat. I like it a certain way. Food came out fast. Our egg rolls in about 5 minutes. Our food arrived within 10 minutes before we finished our egg rolls. Lots of menu choices from charbroiled chicken, pork, beef with broken rice or Vermicelli. Phở bowls with a variety of meats. Pad Thai dishes, noodles, beef w/onions and lemongrass. Plenty of iced milk teas, and other speciality drinks. Something for everyone. Dishes run from $ 6.85-about $ 12.00 The charbroiled chicken and vermicelli is yummy. Served up in a huge bowl layered with lettuce and sprouts at the bottom, covered with cold vermicelli, topped with 2 charbroiled chicken fillets, a section of chopped peanuts & slivered cucumbers, grated carrots. Super tastey especially with Hoison sauce. Choice of charbroiled pork or beef is also available at $ 6.95 a pop. Phở is decent. It comes in 2 sizes and a plate of veggies. The small was a good size of paired with a side. The broth was very flavorful compared to other places. Meat was plenty. Only complaint, not enough vermicelli. If your a big eater go with large. Egg rolls are served on a plater with leaf lettuce, sprouts, cilantro, mint, ect. Along with a side of dipping sauce. Egg rolls were packed with meat and seasonings. We really do enjoy eating here. 3.75 star food 4 Star service I am rounding up to 4. #826

Decent Customer Service. Im in love with this place because I get to order my food, get my food within minutes and get my check then leave. I work close by so this is the place to go for Delicious phở. I get the Phở Dac biet with sprouts, basil leafs, and lime. The price is decent depends on the size of he bowl you want to eat. $ 7 – 8 bucks. Their spring rolls are delicious too approximately $ 4 – 6 bucks. They have to shrimp and pork spring roll or the meat patty meatballs. You can also get the Mungbean for dessert, but you’ll have to ask for it when your almost done with your meal since not everybody is in love with such a distinguished taste.

This place is the worst service I ever experienced. Also dont trust the food it’s missing handle and can have some health hazards. Please people stay away from this place.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school, and honestly, it’s one of the best Viet places around. Phở broth is solid, and they always give you enough herbs, bean sprouts, and extras. Other items, like crispy egg rolls are pretty good too. The only complaint about a non-phở item would be the spring rolls and nem nuong skin which is slightly chewy. Like I said, it’s a solid restaurant and will definitely satisfy your need for phở on a cool night or when you’re sick.

Ordered the vegetarian phở which comes with broccoli and tofu. They give you a lot of noodles which is a plus, but my tofu tasted old and it had black specks on it(a sign that it’s about to mold). Also tried the special combo platter that wasn’t good. It didn’t taste fresh and the sauces were gross. The inside of this place is huge, as far as the service its non existent because all the servers are sitting down texting after they serve your meal. I wouldn’t come back here !

Convenient for a couple reasons –the large private parking lot makes it easy to park and this has to be one of the larger phở restaurants in the area so there’s plenty of seating, great for large groups. Had my usual phở thai — broth was good. The rare beef was okay. The egg rolls were good. Everything overall was good. Nothing special, just acceptable. Veggies were not the freshest; you can tell they’ve been sitting out for a bit, they were drying up. The place could use some cleaning and a facelift, the bathrooms were on the dirty side and the fans blowing my napkins away were annoying — no AC up in herrr…

Great inexpensive phở! Kids meals are affordable and tasty! Ultra fast service– meal usually at table within 7 minutes of ordering… Staff welcoming and willing to take special requests :) Chicken is fresh and tasty, vegetables crisp, sauces and seasonings made in house. The French music they play adds to the atmosphere! Give it a try– right across from Home Depot — Next door to Arby’s!

I’ve been coming to this location for a couple of years now, but it isn’t my «go to» place. Mind you I’ve only had their phở, spring rolls, and egg rolls all which are over priced for what you’re getting. I order spring rolls almost ever time I come and for $ 5(i think) you get two spring rolls that have the tiniest shrimp inside of them and are filled with mostly noodles. Their phở is okay but they have served me a plate that had used limes in it before. Also this place is in desperate need of a make-over…don’t come here on a hot day because their A/C doesn’t work and you will melt.

HORRIBLE. terrible, rude service. They never come back to ask if u need anything. Restaurant is filthy with dirty floors. The server didn’t even know how to take an order. Food was bland. No air conditioning on a 90 degree day. Everybody in the place was sweating.

The young lady that served us was extremely rude. I went with a friend & after two bites, found a fly in my phở. I mentioned it to the waiter she said«just one?» no sorry or anything. we told her we were no longer interested in eating there.

I’ve been going to this place for years. I’ve always had the House special Phở and the appetizers are great. Other items I’ve eaten here are the flat noodles, hot rice pot and the vermicelli dishes and they are awesome. My favorite item that brings everything together is the desert they offer. I’ve always had prompt service here and the owner is a really great person. My kids like going here for lunch and as a treat I like to get them the smoothies here. I have a buddy who is allergic to sesame oil and the owner actually made him a dish with no sesame oil and was really nice about it, many places are not as nice about my buddies allergy.

Don’t go here. They are unsanitary. Place isn’t clean. There was a living caterpillar I’m my food. The worker laughed and said«they’re hard to get out sometimes» so he’s basically telling me the restaurant doesn’t clean their food. Makes me wonder what other nasty things are lurking behind kitchen doors.

Used to be great. The phở has been on a steady decline. Unfortunately, now not only is the phở marginal, but the service is deplorable… most notably by the tall, greasy looking waiter. He is incredibly rude, inattentive and doesn’t really listen when you are ordering. Then, when he gets the order wrong, he really acts like a douche, complaining to the owner and generally giving you the stink eye. Ambiance-wise, the place is totally run down and the tables are greasy and sticky. One time, I witnessed a swarm of hundreds of termites in the window sill right next to my table. I informed the management about it. They put some duct tape over it. The only thing that used to be really great there was the phở with charbroiled meat. The soup itself is not what it used to be… and the service is intolerable no matter how good the soup was. There are way better phở places in the area with really nice servers. Don’t bother with this place. Sad.

Best, most trusted Phở out there. Consistent. Hot. Vietnamese owned. If anyone is going to critique service at a phở restaurant, you’ll never have a 5 star review. Part of eating phở is the gamble that you will have things, that Americans, expect. If you truly are a fan of eating phở, rate it for the phở. I’ve said it before, Unilocal reviewers are Jamokes! Ya mo mo. Ask yourself, have you actually been to a country where your favorite food is from? Pad Thai in Thailand? Sushi in Japan? Pizza in NYC? Ya’ll reviews are suspect.

Phở: Bland. Lacked flavor. Drenched mine in sriracha sauce(typical) but actually added oyster sauce as well to give it more flavor(not typical of me) Egg rolls: Standard. Pretty hard to mess this up Would I go back? Probably not.
