They have decent boba, but the girl that is always there in the mornings is super rude, she doesn’t greet you and will give you her back and watch the blender for 3 mins instead of taking your order, she seems like she hates her job.

Came in yesterday to try the Taro with boba drink(its good but I like there chocolate ones better) and I really enjoy how the bobas are nice and warm on the bottom of a very cold and tasty blended treat. Only been here a few times and always got greeted with great customer service. They even have board games for you to play with a group of friends.

I love this place!!! I don’t live anywhere near it but it’s worth my drive! Best Boba I’ve ever tried! Even my mom loves it! Jolly Rancher is my ATF literally tastes like one

This place is pretty good. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple of years and I don’t see why this place is getting all one star reviews. I’ve never stayed around to drink or eat, so I can’t remark on the cleanliness. I usually go there when it opens and there is this one girl who works there(Rainie– I think that’s how you spell her name) who is very nice to us. I know that the boba is not ready right away when they open. It takes about 30 minutes, so it’s ready by about 11:00. My wife and I always order the Jolly Ranchers and their Honeydew Milk Tea with green tea and easy ice. They never disappoint. My complaint would be about the time it takes for them to make the drinks. Yes, it takes them a while; even with two people working behind the counter. To remedy this, I usually phone my order ahead of time. WHen they have long lines in the summer, there should be a phone order line as there is only one line and it takes forever to get your drink. I also miss their punch card promotion as they don’t do this anymore. Otherwise, good drinks.

Great place for CC students to pass some time and enjoy a chilly drink in this scorching heat. I must say that the ambience is a little off. Not the greatest interior or customer service. Their drinks are a little watered down but they do give discounts for college students. Their biggest problem is running out of ingredients. I hate having to change my order and base my choice on your inventory. Hope too see some improvement because this place has potential.

The jolly rancher smoothie was pretty good but the boba was not. The boba was mostly hard and some were cold. It fresh boba so that definitely kills it. If I go back I’ll just get the jolly rancher smoothie with no boba.

Upon entering, my nose was met with a mysterious stench. As I examined the store, it was extremely dirty as if the owner and the workers didn’t care at all. The sink in the back was awfully dirty. The almond milk tea had no almond taste what so ever. Average prices that is paired with cheap quality products. Save yourself the trouble and go to 7 leaves.

‘Eh, I had the honey jasmine milk tea, but it seemed like there was too much honey in it. The drink overall was just ok, wish it was balanced out more.

As much as I love their honey milk tea, this review is mainly towards the establishment’s appearance/cleanliness. All I have to say is that they need a major cleaning. The tables need a better wipe down because they tend to be sticky. The clear display that they put their games in need to be wiped and dusted. There are times I would see rags(probably used) in there and it bothers me. And whenever I go to the counter to order, I really can’t help but observe the sink area and how disgusting it looks. Lastly, there have been a couple times that I’ve seen insects running around. Clean it up!!! This place needs a renovation.

This is not a go-to boba place in my opinion. The décor is not the most welcoming… we walked in to grimmy tables… boooo They did offer the usual variety of boba variety teas and drinks. Also, there were board games to play. A very casual environment, I can see it being more busy when Cypress College is in session. Oh… spotted a cockroach on the wall… hummm, not to appetizing with my boba tea if you ask me. So, if you value a clean environment… wouldn’t suggest this location. The boba tea I ordered was not spectacular, but what I expected. The boba had a sweet taste to it. Not bad.

This could definitely could end up being a 5 star place, but it misses the mark in a lot of areas. For 1, this place doesn’t have too great of an atmosphere. Feels like a ‘hole-in-the-wall” place. I mean its not dirty, but its definitely not the coolest place to go to. I think you’d need to hire an actual interior designer/decorator or something, and the sound acoustics suck too. I remember when I first started going there, it was insanely hot and muggy inside. They eventually fixed this with air conditioning or something. This place isnt very consistent. They tend to run out of items on their menu all the time. Whether it be Boba, or the snacks they have available. But this is my favorite Drink place in the cypress/los alamitos area. The next closest best are either in Cerritos or Westminister. I go to this place all the time. The staff is always nice as well. Great place.

My first time here & my last. I stopped by with a friend, honestly because we needed to use the bathroom, so we had to buy a drink. We ordered a regular ‘jolly rancher’ with boba which claims to be strawberry, honeydew, watermelon & mango, but tastes like super artificial honeydew flavoring only. The girls that work here are unenthusiastic & uncourteous. Trust me, you’re better off going literally anywhere else. Save your $ 4.

Okaaaay, I’ve been going to this spot for almost 4 years. Now that I live down the street, it’s my go to spot for boba(since it’s the closest). I went in this evening(5⁄4) at around 635. There were three people working and one person in front of us. It was our time to order. I got the royal milk tea with boba and my boyfriend got the Jollie Rancher. WEWAITEDALMOST15MINUTES. No food was ordered, just drinks. It should NOT take that long. I saw them put my milk tea up on the counter for«ready» but NOSLUSHIEDRINK. I started saying some things to my bf and luckily for us, they heard and one of the girls made the slushie soon after. Love, love their drinks but the owner needs to teach them how to make these drinks a tad bit faster… **oh, I came here one evening and they were OUTOFBOBA. you are a BOBA shop, that is what you SPECIALIZE in. How do you run out of something you are KNOWN for??* /end rant.

Retrain the staff dude. Could deal without the fucking attitude. Got there at 830 one night to get some boba and there were like 10 people in there just hanging out and talking to the staff, probably just their friends. Stood at the cash register while the people working just walked around until they finally noticed me and told me they were closed with a half assed smile. Dude. Your hours say you’re open til 10 and it was only 830, maybe 845 at latest. I mean I know you wanna get out early, I’ve been there, done that, but 830? Seriously? And to make it even more awkward, the group of people sitting in the booths sat there quietly staring at me leave, while the other minute I saw them all having a freaking party. Anyway, I used to love coming here because it was the closest and most decent place to get boba and the prices were great but the last few times I’ve been here has caused me to rethink my life decisions… why drive to a run down boba shop that always has sticky tables and feels musky and hot inside and then have to shout your order because these little high schoolers that are running the place are blasting their music? Why should I go somewhere that I always get corrected on what I’m ordering. I mean the service and environment were never all that but I honestly just feel like this place is going down hill. My drinks are always watery now! What’s up with that?! I’ve given them four tries after my first failed drink and they’re always watery now! Why must you do this to me? There’s a seven leaves right down the street now, sorry to have to do this but I’m taking my business over there.

I was in the area so I decided to find the closest boba place, which happened to be phat straw. I ordered the jasmine milk tea. It was soooo sweet. I think they forgot to put the tea in there. It tasted liked melted vanilla whip cream. Super bummed. I’ve never thrown out a boba drink. Seriously, never. I let the ice melt for a while so it would be watered down. Did not help. But I paid for this sucker so I sipped it until it was half full until I couldn’t do it anymore. I tossed it. Ugh. At least the place was clean and the workers were nice.

Located right across the street from Cypress College. I LOVED their Taro Milk Tea Boba. Really flavorful & delicious! It’s very affordable & the service is friendly. The décor is cute & the restroom is clean. We will be returning, I’m sure. :-)

This is by far my favorite place to go buy a boba! I really love how they make their boba every 15 minutes, so my boba is always a little warm at the beginning. I usually get either the pineapple kush slushy, or an avocado avalanche. The pineapple kush comes with little fruit at the top! The avocado is actually made from one real avocado! The inside of the place is pretty nice. They have a nice seating area. They also have games for you and your family/friends to play! Will continue to be back various more times.

Saw the Unilocal reviews, but decided to give it a try since it was so close to school. Tried this place once and it was okay so i decided to come back. My second time was disgusting. Ordered a crimson peach with boba… worst mistake of my life. I found a baby cockroach in my drink and I literally threw up. It was too late to take the drink back since I has to go to class so I took a picture of it and threw the drink and the popcorn chicken I ordered away. Take heed when ordering here. Will not be returning here and strongly suggest future customers to stay away. Health services need to be contacted asap. The best I can do is give them the lowest rating… if only I could give them zero stars.

I use to be a regular at phat straw coming like 3 – 4 times a week, but all had changed due to my favorite milk tea losing its quality. The taste use to be very consistent, but now it often tastes like spoiled milk, cereal or soy sauce. The boba isn’t as fresh as it use to be since I stopped going to phat straw. To make it fair for them, I came back like 4 – 5 times to retaste the Jasmine milk tea, but it still taste horribly. Stay clear of the Jasmine milk tea and get something else. Funny thing is that I tell the cashier that the Jasmine milk tea tastes weird and they tell me that’s how its suppose to taste like even when they sample it. I’m sure after ordering the drink like 5 dozen times I would know what it should taste like.

Yummy vietnamese coffee with calamari! I do admit it was kind of stuffy in there… I think they are in the midst of redecorating everything b/c the walls looked blank and the chairs are new… vietnamese coffee wasn’t strong enough, it tasted like regular coffee. The breading of the calamari was coming off, I was craving calamari and that had to do but I preferred if it was crispy… other than that it was a pretty good snack and boba :)
