Went there at 2.30 and ordered House special lo mein! The food tastes good as usual! However, I was told by another customer who was waiting for his to go orders that he saw the cashier took chicken off my plate with her bare hands right before bringing it to my table. She did it in the kitchen&he saw her thru the small windows on the kitchen doors! DISGUSTING! Those fingers’ve touched cashes, cards or worse! if shes hungry, eat before work, not stealing chicken from customers plates like this!

This is a really great place to eat Chinese food in the Cypress area. I haven’t tried all their dishes, but most of what I’ve had so far has been tasty. Their lunch specials are not as flavorful as ordering ala cart of the menu. I recommend them for dinner though despite its full menu price. Dinner just seems to be better tasting probably because it is made to order as opposed to lunch.

This place is very small and you might think it is a restaurant once you see the name Taste of Asia.
With the place being small it packs great flavor. The portions are huge and the leftovers can still get you full the next day. We got the Vietnamese rolls which were a little expensive for just two rolls but they were very good so I kind of overlooked it. We also got soup, she got egg drop and I got hot and sour soup which were very good. The hot and sour soup was spectacular with the amount of spices and sourness. I also got the General Taos chicken which was excellent. At some other places the batter on this kind of dish is overwhelming and you barely taste any chicken but that is not the case here.
This is a must place to visit or even get take out. It’s small but don’t let that deter you.

Last two times we’ve ordered take out it’s been too saucy and honestly not that great. I felt sick the last time if I’m being truly honest. Possibly the MSG which they may or may not use. Back to looking for a good place in Cypress!

We ordered:
Broccoli in Garlic Sauce — Really good. Broccoli still had a little crunch to it. Not so steamed it was mushy. Sauce wasn’t ridiculously salty or garlic-​y. I really liked it.
Cashew Chicken — Very good. Chicken was tender and not over done. Sauce not overly salty.
General Tso’s — Sauce good. Crust stayed on the chicken. All of the fried chicken dishes were a little tough — like they had been cooked way too long.
Orange Chicken — Sauce was good — you could actually taste the orange and there were bits of orange zest to add an extra burst of orange. Again, the chicken was a bit tough — cooked too long.
Sesame Chicken — Didn’t get around to trying this. I’m sure it was about the same.
Didn’t try any of the rice. My in-​laws thought it was all pretty good as well. I’ll give it another try — maybe the chicken won’t be as tough next time.

This is a small place with only a few tables. It’s more suited for delivery or take-​out.
I ordered take-​out for dinner for my family. It was a very large order and yet, the order I received was correct. That’s a big deal to me since frequently when placing large orders at restaurants for take-​out of delivery, something is always incorrect or missing! NOT HERE!
We ordered a variety of their dishes. All were chicken dishes, except for the house special fried rice. Everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely order from here again!

We tried TOA for the first time tonight. The Wonton and Hot and Sour soups were piping hot, fresh and tasty. General Tso’s chicken and the Orange chicken were very good. The fried rice was excellent. We will be back!

First time here, decided to eat here based on othee Unilocal reviews. Husband had the General Tso’s Chicken extra spicy and really liked it. I had steamed pork dumplings with a side of white rice. Everything was good and the food came out quick. Restaurant is small but we didn’t have any problems getting a table right away. Lady behind the counter seemed really sweet. Would definitely come back.

Lots and lots of food. It is your classic American Asian cuisine… Not really the authentic Chinese food that everyone thinks. I normally do take out since the inside looks extremely small. The food is good and if you just crave some American Chinese good this is a good place to go cheap and you get a lot for what you pay

Got to my dads house around 3pm after a flight from LAX and I was starving cause I didn’t eat all day. Searched Unilocal and this is what popped up as a delivery option.
We ordered the:
KUNG PAO CHICKEN– $ 8.50
(Celery, bell peppers, carrots, & peanuts stir-​fried in rich brown sauce) 3 ½ stars**** this was ok reminded me of Panda Express Kung pao, Americanized. Wasn’t spicy like I asked for.
ASIAN CURRY RICE NOODLES (Beef and Chicken) $ 8.50 (Boiled vermicelli topped with curry sauce) this was recommended by the lady I spoke with over the phone. 3 stars.*** Lacked I. Flavor but had a good combination of meats to veggies to noodle ratio
GENERAL TSO CHICKEN$ 8.95 (Lightly crisp honey glazed chicken with spicy sweet soy ginger sauce) 3 ½ stars*** this was ok also. Very saucy, and a little bit on the sweeties side than I’m used to.
Delivery was quite fast about 35 – 40 minutes. Service was average.
Overall food was just ok. We had lots of left overs because portions were fairly large. Would u eat her again? Eh probably not.

I saw the review on Unilocal and decided to drive 15 minutes, pass a dozen other Chinese restaurant just to check it out. Totally work the drive. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Like other reviewers said, my first impression from the outside and then walking inside, I was a little reluctant. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and talkative with everyone that came in.
I will DEFINITELY come back. Gotta take the Mr when he is home.

Wow, A M A Z I N G AMAZING!!! It’s like fast food for PF Changs!!! The price seems high but once you eat it then you will completely understand it better!!! I’m very picky when it comes to Asian food, and this place has succeed my expectations successfully!!! If this is a must try people MUST!!!

My husband and I decided to try something new today. We weren’t impressed. We waited 30 minutes to get our food. We got it only after watching several people who came in after us walk out before us. My husband had to ask where our order was. When we got home the food was ok. Not bad, but by far not impressive.
We ordered wonton soup, general tso’s chicken, and a kids plate with sweet and sour chicken and Vietnamese egg rolls.
The broth in the wonton soup is extremely dark, the breading on the sweet and sour chicken is bland, general tso’s was a but crispy/​over cooked, and the fried rice has no egg or veggies. Even with these set backs I will say the sauce on the general tso’s is very good.
Again the food wasn’t bad, but the food at Green Garden is by far superior and that is where we will continue to go. If feel if the order was fulfilled in the 10 mins mentioned when we ordered that could have made up for the sub-​par quality of food.

Summary– Pretty damned decent Chinese and they deliver.
Food– 3.5 Stars
Dumplings are solid but not outstanding. Egg rolls were also solid.
Fried rice with shrimp was decent, the shrimp are large and cooked well but the rice itself was just a little dry.
Broccoli with garlic sauce is very good.
Service– 4 Stars
They deliver and always say an hour, but it’s always less.
Value– 4 Stars
Not overpriced and LOTS of food.

It’s good to have another good place for quick, quality Chinese takeout in Cypress.
My friend and I dined in around lunchtime, and it was surprisingly not packed at all. It’s a pretty small suite, so I wouldn’t go with a lunch group larger than around 8 people. Regardless, the restaurant was clean, cozy, and had tons of natural light.
The service was quick, and the food was delicious! I was very impressed by the lunch special, which offered most if not all of the entrees offered on the regular menu, plus your choice of soup, and appetizer, and fried or steamed rice. They also included a small side salad. For around $ 10, I received a ton of food (my friend just ordered a plate of fried rice, and it was a huge portion).
I enjoyed my dish. I ordered the mango chicken with garlic sauce, wonton soup, and a spring roll. Everything was piping hot and very flavorful. I hope to come back and get more soup, and I’d like to try the orange chicken as well.

We order delivery from Taste of Asia every now and then. The food is consistently good, and very flavorful. The soups are delicious and arrive piping hot. Portions are large for the entrees, and are generous with meats. I love the Lo Mein and every beef dish we have tried is good.
The eggrolls are SO GOOD!!!
Best part of this place is the service. Always kind on the phone and even nicer at the door. Plus they are always just a few minutes quicker than the time quote when it comes to the delivery, so we have never had an unexpected wait for the meal. Overall a very good choice to satisfy the craving.
