Boom Juice

I was feeling congested and my throat was hurting a bit, and I wanted something to stop my cold getting from getting worse. I told the gentleman that I was feeling under the weather so he suggested the Texas orange juice (orange, lemon, ginger, cayenne). He told me that within 10 minutes of finishing it, I’d feel better. I was a bit skeptical, but it worked! My throat felt so much better, and it wasn’t as congested. I’m definitely coming back the next time I feel like I’m getting sick or even just when I want to feel healthy!

I’m from out of town visiting Dallas for the first time. It was suggested to me that I visit the Dallas Farmers Market, so I did. While walking through the brand new market, I came upon Boom Juice. Being that I have some very unique dietary requirements, the gentleman helping me was very friendly, patients and able to answer all of my questions. The juice I selected was wonderful and very refreshing on a warm afternoon in December. The gentleman also recommended that I come back the following day (Saturday) because the outside vendors show up on weekends.

Truly delicious, ORGANIC juice! I have made organic juice at home before (probably 30 times), but I’m not a fan of the prep time in the kitchen or the mess… so this is a perfect splurge for me when I’m in the area.

Had my first Boom Juice today! As close as it gets to the fresh organic juices I use to get in Los Angeles. This is my new go to place. You can taste the quality =)

Boom is conveniently located inside BodyBar Dallas. Sometimes I will grab a juice on the way out of Pilates but they are really expensive here… my usual juice is about $ 12. The selection is good but not always in stock. They have some interesting shots/​caffeinated drinks and they make their own almond milk! Everything is raw, organic and pretty tasty! Just a little pricey.

The guy who runs the company is awesome! Super informative, helpful and supportive. I Was In Dallas training for a job and for 5 weeks I was living in a hotel having no option but to eat out. I’m a healthy eater who cooks every meal at home so it was driving me crazy not being able to cook. I decided to try my first juice cleanse. Started with a 3 day and very happy with the results. Each day not only did I get my juices fresh for the day but they delivered to my hotel. Talk about making it easy. They also checked up on us each day to see how we were doing since we hadn’t done a no food cleanse before. The juices tasted delicious there were only a couple I didn’t really like. Rockstar and best citrus ever are awesome pick me ups for the classic cleanse ! Yum :)

As someone who tries to maintain a fairly healthy lifestyle, juicing is something I truly appreciate. It’s another way to get an appropriate serving of veggies/​fruits. And while I enjoy a great salad, juicing adds variety and provides a healthy alternative. And just as eating raw veggies/​fruits is healthier than cooking them, cold pressed juicers provide increased nutritional benefit when compared to a centrifugal juice extractor. In the end the key is to remove the juice (and it’s nutrients) using little to no heat in the process. In other words, not all cold press juicers are created equally. Juicing can be a time consuming process when performed at home (I am not a fan of the cleanup afterwards) and as a result I rarely do it.
Within the 6 – 8 weeks I discovered Boom Juice (actually I’ve had them bookmarked for a few months) and I am a fan. Luckily for me, Boom Juice is conveniently located at the Dallas Farmers Market. So getting high quality fresh cold pressed juice fits easily into my weekend routine.
In addition to providing a great product, the owner (Davio Ventouras) is very personable and knowledgeable. Most weekends Davio can be found working at the Boom Juice stand located in the Dallas Farmers Market. He is always ready and able to answer any question about the juices, their benefits, etc. Another great thing about Boom Juice is they have a nice variety of cold pressed juices. Currently my favorites include the Complete Meal, Clean Green and Spicy Texas OJ (perfect allergies and/​or nasal congestion). I’ve also tried the Cold Brew Coffee and it is amazing!!! I am definitely adding this to my weekly rotation. Based on my experience the juices keep their freshness for ~3 day (assuming it is properly refrigerated or put on ice after purchasing). So keep this in mind when planning your purchase.
Next time you’re in the Dallas Farmers Market area remember to stop by the Boom Juice stand and chat with Davio. You will not regret it.

On a recent trip to Dallas, I found myself facing a problem. I’ve been juicing regularly and was in the middle of a bit of a juice cleanse, when I suddenly didn’t have the opportunity to juice myself. Enter the Unilocal app! I found Boom Juice in about 2.2 seconds and quickly hopped a cab to get there. I didn’t realize it was in the Farmers Market, so I was happy that the it was open when I got there and that I was able to find it.
Davio, the owner, was there and was super helpful in getting me all of the juices that I needed. I bought a ton, because I knew I would be consuming them a lot over the next two days. Since they were cold-​pressed, he was concerned I wouldn’t be able to drink them fast enough and that they wouldn’t be fresh. However, I assured him that I would slam them. Lol! I was impressed that he even cared. He definitely cared more about the product and making the sale, which was obvious and refreshing. I was going to walk the mile back to my hotel, but he just about had a heart attack when I said that. He was really concerned about the juice! He even insisted on taking all the juices and putting them back in his cooler until my cab arrived to pick me back up.
I’ve tried pretty much all of the green juices, including the «Salad and a Bottle.» I loved his citrus one though. That bit of Cayanne pepper was awesome! Yes, the juices can get pricey, but you get what you pay for. There’s a lot that goes into cold pressing all of these juices and getting them ready for consumption in a timely manner. Plus, each bottle had me feeling like a million bucks. You could feel the fresh enzymes coursing through your body. I definitely needed that burst of nutrition!
My sister lives in Dallas so I plan on getting back to the area again soon. When I do, I will definitely be going back to Boom Juice!

It’s great to see Dallas finally have fresh and organic juices. The salad’s really good too I’d recommend that… It’s as healthy as it gets. I also like how i can give back the plastic bottles and they’ll be recycled. It’s all part of the green lifestyle that Boom creates.
One reason i wanted to write this is to compensate for the reviewer that attacked the owner. Ive chatted with Davio a few times and he’s helped me find other organic restaurants in the city. He’s super passionate about what he does so I guess that could have rubbed someone the wrong way, but to give him 1 star over that is nonsense.

If you like your juice with a side of douchebag please check out this juice stand. He harassed us while we walked by — while he was on the phone. Then we said we would like juice — and he stayed on the phone. Then he told me my card was giving him problems before he tried manually entering it — while he was on the phone. When I told him to please cancel my order he yelled at me. Only three flavors available when I was there and all of them are more than $ 10, 30% more than you’ll pay at other organic cold press shops in Dallas. I’d gladly pay more at any other shop for a side of manners, but thankfully I don’t have to.

I came to this place super excited since I’m on a road trip and it’s difficult to find healthful food on the road.
I got the salad in a bottle juice, the complete meal juice, and the F.L.T. sandwich.
Both of the juices were amazing, I enjoyed them and felt great after drinking them. They were exactly what I wanted!
I was pretty disappointed with the sandwich. The «bacon» was so chewy that I couldn’t even bite it off as part of the sandwich, I had to take it out and eat it separately. I like the bread they use, but the texture is too tough to be used on a sandwich. It tasted good but was too difficult to eat. The kale chips it came with were good but were a bit oily for my taste.
I also thought $ 10 each was pretty high for the juices and the meal. I would get the juices again if they weren’t priced so high.

Hands down the best juice ever. I drive over 30 minutes to get their food & juice. It’s all organic, which is extremely hard to find. It’s also cold pressed. Whole Foods, not organic. Roots, not always organic. I have my personal training certification and do nutrition coaching and always recommend Boom Juice to my clients. The staff is great too. Just a tip, if you decide to do a cleanse make sure to order in advance. There is a huge demand, which says a lot!
My only complaint? There needs to be a location in North Dallas!

I just «happened» upon Boom Juice, as I was standing in line for Pecan Lodge… Much to my surprise, I enjoyed Boom Juice almost as much as my brisket !
I have always been interested in fresh healthy juices, but learned so much that day from Davio. I have enjoyed several juice cleanses as well as 24 Karat Cinnamon Gold rolls, amazing. I live a gluten free, paleo lifestyle and Boom Juice fits right in.
I work out hard and LOVE the Watermelon juice as a recovery boost after CrossFit.
Salad in a Bottle. Delish! Fashionista– Totally Yummy with beets! Rockstar– WOW!
You won’t be disappointed! I only wish I didn’t have to drive from Lewisville! Time to open up a north metroplex location! :)

Hands down the best quality juice in Dallas. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than their cold-​pressed competition, but do a side-​by-​side comparison and you’ll easily taste the superior quality of the product.
Bonus points for the owner caring about his customers, and making a point to thank them for returning. My only complaint is that their location necessarily restricts their hours. I need you at 7am, boom juice. Make it happen.

I got the Survivor after asking for a recommendation. I can say that this place is really expensive for a bottle of juice. I had expected them to squeeze the juice fresh, but they have prepared bottles in a fridge for you once you order. My bottle of juice was $ 10 which gave me a shock. It tasted amazing but not worth the price. It might be a little more reasonable for some of the meal replacement blends, but not for carrot, spinach and green apple juice.
