I’ve been twice and have never been disappointed. The daily special can’t be beat. If you’re «in the know», go for the the pork rind nachos! Yeah they’re worth it!

Great Texas Style BBQ! I had the half rack of ribs, White Trash Mac and Cheese, and the Chili. I used the spicy BBQ sauce on the ribs which was extremely flavorful but not real hot and it was a perfect balance with the dry rub. Dawn was my bartender/waitress and was extremely friendly, charming and had a great smile. She knows the menu and her recommendations were right on the money. The prices were great, under $ 30.00 for everything! This will definitely stay on my great restaurants in Dallas list. Warning — during the week get there early as the chicken and the ribs run out.

Great food. The bar lady and the cook in the back were more than helpful in walking me through what to order. Not a lot to look at from the outside and it does have a dive feel to it, but, if you’re out looking for great Barbeque, you typically done expect a parking attendant or fancy tabletops. It’s exactly as the name states– Barbeque saloon! Enjoy. I’ll be back again.

Don’t let the location fool you! This is great barbeque! I ordered the three-meat plate for $ 17.99. The rub on the pork ribs was incredible! I’ll take two racks next time. The brisket was cooked perfectly, and the jalapeño sausage was delicious. The baked beans were not the brown super-sweet version that you usually get. They were whitish in color, and were only slightly sweet with nice chunks of brisket. They were even better the next morning for breakfast. The mashed potatoes were seasoned nicely, and had nice chunks of potato in them as well. Both of these sides I thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t wait to try their mac and cheese, and other sides. My rating is actually a 3.5 because I wanted to go back the very next day. Another gem in Dallas! Check it out yall!

I first came here a couple of months ago on the recommendation of a coworker but wasn’t exactly sure what I would find. It turned out to be one of my more memorable barbecue sandwiches. Chopped brisket, to be exact. It was the special of the day for $ 6.99 and came with a side and a drink. The food counter was small with a menu offering four or five sandwich options and one, two, and three meat plates. The team at the counter immediately recommended the special, and it did not disappoint. While the sandwich was prepared I was offered a sample of the brisket, which was moist and tender but did not seem to pack a lot of flavor. That became a non-issue after I asked which barbecue sauce they recommended on the brisket sandwich. I was surprised at the answer, as one guy recommended using the North Carolina barbecue sauce first and layering either the regular barbecue sauce or the spicy version on top. I went with North Carolina and regular sauce and was amazed at the taste combination. The vinegar-based sauce soaked quickly into the bun, which was already very soft, and provided a tang while the other sauce provided a little bit of smoky heat. I’ve been back on multiple occasions since then and continue to be impressed with new finds. The green onion sausage sandwich with homemade aioli sauce, the pulled pork sandwich, the Tipsy Chicken Caesar salad… all fantastic. Their sides are impressive as well – White Trash Mac & Cheese, the Jalapeño creamed corn, the garlic mashed potatoes, the marinated cucumber and tomatoes with feta cheese… I haven’t found a side I didn’t like yet. And frankly, you just cannot beat their lunch special, which at $ 6.99 for a sandwich, side and drinks is a deal. Check this place out!

3.5 stars but rounding up, even though I was bitter they FORGOT my cornbread. Sigh. In any case, I called in my order ahead of time and it was ready by the time I picked it up. I ordered the 3 Meat Combination(w/St. Louis Ribs, Tipsy Chicken, Green Onion Sausage, Hal. A. Peno Cream Corn, White Trash Mac, $ 17.99
) + Brody’s Brisket(½lb/$ 9.99): The ribs, chicken, and sausage were all pretty good, since everything was very tender and flavorful. I would get these again. The brisket had good flavor, but was a little on the dry side since it didn’t have a lot of fat– I would be on the fence about ordering this again. The corn and mac n cheese were both good, but nothing amazing. Overall, this is still one of the better BBQ joints I’ve been to in a while, and would definitely recommend coming here over Hard 8 and a few other spots. They weren’t crowded when I came in around 12:30pm on a Thursday, and there were plenty of tables open at the time. Parking was also easy since they have their own lot.

They might as well change the name to Dylan’s Best Damn BBQ Anywhere Saloon. The chopped beef sandwich is the best that I have ever had. I have had a lot. Great ambiance, good people, and the best damn BBQ I’ve had the pleasure to get my teeth and gums on. Pay them a visit and reward your taste buds.

Great BBQ. Very friendly staff. Dylan the owner was a stand up guy. Provided us with multiple beer options and was very accommodating with parking at his second location near AT&T Stadium. Would definitely highly recommended this place.

We went at 730pm and they gave us a list of things that they ran out of and they close at 10 or 11 lol so I didn’t eat anything. I really appreciate that you took the time to respond to my review and that little extra shows how much you appreciate your Customers, because of that I’d come back.

Chicken, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage: those are the main dishes surrounding BBQ in my opinion. Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas: those are the hubs for BBQ in this great country of ours. My life’s goal is to experience BBQ in all 4 states. I have had BBQ in Missouri, Texas, and North Carolina. I’ve had the best chicken in Missouri. I’ve had the best pulled pork in North Carolina. This place just blew my mind for the remainder of my meat list. Fantastic. I’m not a huge fan of brisket, but this was the best I’ve had. I don’t know how they do it and I don’t care, but this was a great place for BBQ. I’ll also add that the two gentlemen who were there in the morning were about as pleasant and nice as they come. This one’s a gem folks, don’t pass on it.

Since I’m in Dallas… I want… BBQ!!! Thank. You. Unilocal!Found a place that we can get our BBQ and some BEER! The location was in an unassuming area, but we found it. It wasn’t that crowded but I’m sure they get a lunch crowd. They had good customer service and their brisket was my FAVORITE. I even made my husband go order more because I wanted to take it to go! All their meat was good… but their brisket was phenomenal! I really enjoyed their cornbread and jalapeño cream corn too. I actually chose this place because my son’s name is Dylan too(not to mention their reviews). We even got to meet the owner Dylan who was just such a nice guy. We just had to take pictures with him! I will be coming back next time I’m in Dallas! I will never forget this BBQ! Mmmmmm my mouth is watering!

First – it’s a bar that serves BBQ, damn fine BBQ. Stop expecting a waitress to come by and refill your tea. Get your Q, belly up to the bar and get a beer like a proper Texan. Yes there are tables inside and out. But it clearly states in the name that it is a Saloon. Look, it’s RIGHTTHERE! Second, get the sausage. It’s got green onions in it. It may be the best sausage I’ve had to date. It is so delish that I almost forgot I had brisket. The brisket is really good too. I asked for burnt ends, and they melted in my mouth in smokey goodness. The sides are also excellent. I had the White Trash Mac N Cheese with little Goldfish staring up at me and a tomato cucumber salad. I also stole a bite of the jalapeño creamed corn from my buddy. Get that. They also slap a pork rind and cornbread on your tray. They have two sauces, regular and Carolina. The Carolina was good on the sausage. It is thinner, hotter and more vinegary. I wish the regular sauce was a little less vinegary but that is the only thing I’d change. Location is a little hidden but totally worth the search. The patio is going to be fantastic this summer. I will be back again and I may get a big order for my work in Las Colinas. Much love for this place!
