This place is pretty bad, I work in the neighborhood and the employees here have always been extremely rude and the kitchen staff is lazy, my Togo food is always made so poorly and looks awful oh and forget customizing an order they will definitely fuck it up

This place surely deserves better than three stars. It’s pretty tasty — inexpensive — and has a fun atmosphere. I had two shredded chicken tacos for $ 1.99 each and they were flavorful and filling. Not busy on a Saturday. Quick and hit the spot.

This review pertains to only the breakfast menu items. Came here Sunday morning and extremely hungry. Fuzzy’s is a low key taco shop which is seen almost everywhere in DFW. As hungry as I was, I ordered three of the breakfast tacos and could only manage to finish two. The size of the taco was much bigger compared to the standard street taco. My most favorite breakfast taco would have to be the shrimp, egg and cheese! Overall, the tacos are pretty standard and didn’t really stand out from the other taco joints. Overall: I don’t think Fuzzy’s would be my first choice to go to for a taco. Id rather drive a couple more miles to go to Taco Deli. This place is mehhhh.

Fuzzy’s is one of my favorite smaller taco chains. Once I realized there was one close to the office I was thrilled! Usually go in once a week. Love their shrimp tacos, and queso and chips. This is probably the smallest Fuzzy’s I have been in so if it’s packed you might as well order to-go. Parking is not the best when trying around lunch but if you go 11 – 11:30 or after 1, parking isn’t near as bad. Not giving the food 4 stars, just took a star away for the small eating area and parking.

Two major Taco chains(that I know of) in DFW: Fuzzy’s and Torchy’s. Honestly, Fuzzy’s is pretty good. However, it’s inferior compared to Fuzzy’s. Fuzzy’s is more of a basic taco chain, closer to a Taco Bell type place than Torchy’s which focuses more on creativity in their tacos. However, for the price you get at Fuzzy’s, it is pretty decent! I once had their nachos, and they totally filled me up. Special fact: there’s about 1400 – 1600 calories in one of those nacho meals. If you want to be definitely stuffed for the entire day, get those! All in all, Torchy’s is better than Fuzzy’s.

Ok, so I love the Deep Ellum area and I was very surprised to find a Fuzzy’s here!!! I love Fuzzy’s but I don’t eat here often. However, me and my friend were trying to find a place with good food and good beer and this place was perfect for the occasion! I say that because their portions are crazy ridiculous!!! It’s great. It was the first night actually ordering beer from Fuzzy’s, and I ordered a Revolver: Blood and Honey and some nachos. Now I know the nachos are big enough to feed a family, but I was not prepared for the size of the beer I had just ordered! I was speechless and was seriously doubting my ability to finish everything!!! Well, that just meant that me and my friend would have to spend a little more time at our table than we had expected, and we enjoyed every minute of it! No pressure by the employees to leave or order more items, and we stayed there until we both finished our food and drinks. What’s also great is that the area is such an interesting place to explore, we were able to walk it off for a while after we were done. This was by far my favorite experience at Fuzzy’s and my favorite location in the DFW area!

Meh… Overrated! The cheese sauce and feta are not complimentary to the flavors of tacos and nachos. They are seeking to be original I get that but it’s just not good to my palate… And I will eat almost anything. The mango margarita is good tastes like an orange dreamsicle.

I’ve tried a few locations including a few visits to the Deep Ellum locale. The food is ok… obviously I return, so it’s not bad. But it’s also not great. I do like the breakfast tacos and burritos, but again they are not great. I like the deep Ellum location, with big back patio and laid back feel. However the staff is a bit surely and kind of rude at times. In a pinch, this place is better than a fast food type taco, but don’t expect greatness.

Best around! You can also sneak into three links next door thru the patio if you’re underage.

The lettuce is on point! The rest of the taco is remarkably unspectacular. All of them. I tried 4 and it’s just not good. In all fairness, the fuzz drivers are pretty solid. It probably wouldn’t be bad drunk food. Blah

Eh… Not really impressed. Tacos were basic. Little to no flavor. I like that the shrimp and fish have a non fried option however there was no traditional white sauce. Also no Modelo on tap… Music was good and the staff really friendly.

This place is a glorified taco bell with really nice craft brews served in goblets for $ 8. We ordered 2 spicy pork which were not spicy and just pulled pork, and 1 special beef, which tasted like taco bell. I love taco bell so I enjoyed my taco, especially since I know it was real meat. My friend got a crayfish and fish tacos, they looked good as well but her flour tortilla were cold, wtf! I suggest getting the corn ones b/c the meat to tortilla ratio works out better. Their butt burning spicy sauce isn’t even a 3 on my spicy scale, but adds enough vinegar to balance out the fatty meats. Good place for super late tacos but I’d probably wouldn’t return sober.

I guess I didn’t expect a fine dining experience in Deep Ellum. However, this was not good. Within minutes of ordering someone came to tell us they were out of chorizo so we had to pick a different taco. Then, it was a very very long time and we still hadn’t received any of our food. I asked someone who quickly brought out our nachos which were cold. Then, we waited awhile again and we finally got our tacos. The food was ok but the service was bad. As we left, someone(manager?) said it would be better next time. He never came to talk to us while we were waiting. We were from out of town so there won’t be a next time.

The food was real good for the price. My girlfriend and I spent less than $ 20.00 for Nacho with cheese, cheese steak quesadilla and beef fajita plate. The restaurant was clean and the area was really nice. If you wanna eat something good and different for a good price, then go to Deep Elum in Dallas, Tx.

I love Fuzzy’s and this location is no exception. Before a night out celebrating the birth of Venus C., I met up with her for a quick bite at Fuzzy’s. Of course I had to have my favorite ground beef nachos and a margarita to wash it all down. The staff was nice and my food was out super fast. The margarita wasn’t the best I’ve tasted but for $ 4, who really cares? I’m not usually in Deep Ellum, but when I am I will make sure to hit up Fuzzy’s.

I’ve been to the Deep Ellum location a few times and the food is always on point. However, this Fuzzy’s gets 2 stars because of the women’s restroom issue. The restrooms are located across from booths… with doors that swing OUT. Not very pleasant especially without an actual stall to shield the view of the toilet. On my most recent visit a few days ago, I went to open the door to the ladies room and it partially opened and lo and behold there was a shriek and a woman sitting on the toilet. The reason for this is there is a chain to ‘lock’ the door from the inside, but obviously you can still open it part of the way and, very unfortunately, see inside. Keep in mind there are booths that have a clear view of this restroom. On top of the lack of privacy and major ick factor due to the location, lack of stall and insufficient door lock, the soap was in a bag on the back of the toilet(no soap dispenser) and the toilet would not flush. To add insult to injury there was a trash can next to the toilet that had DRYRUB written on it and it was over-flowing with tissue paper. I hope they take care of this and come up with a viable and practical solution.

I love tacos. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This place is the definition of a great taco shop. We came in one late evening while at the Index Festival, and I was in heaven. Nice big colorful menu above your head when you walk in. All the nice Hispanic women in the kitchen making Tacos is a sign of greatness. The cashier was great and kept a smile on his face the whole time as I slurred out me and my gfs order. We both ordered more than usual, due to our mental circumstance at the time. Needless to say, we ate all of it too. Best part of it all, we came in just shy of 20 $. I have a pic posted as well of all the food we got for that lonesome Jefferson. Thank you America, thank you Jefferson, bust most of all THANKYOUFUZZY’s!!!

I’ve had my share of ill-fated Fuzzy’s Taco experiences back in college(do yourself a favor and say no to their enchiladas), so I wasn’t expecting much to come out of an all-day breakfast served visit. There are times though when my heart wants to give things another shot because there must be at least one thing good about a place if it has survived as a franchise. This Fuzzy’s was the last thing for breakfast to check out in Deep Ellum. While there are other establishments that also serve delicious and more authentically street breakfast tacos for cheap in Dallas, this place may be less intimidating of the bunch to the average«I’m okay with spending $ 50 on my meal» kind of person. The inside is relatively clean with hip décor and an obscure patio in the back like most DE businesses. The cashier appeared to have a soul and was content with working today, which is all I really ask for someone taking down orders. When the tacos were called from the kitchen, I was completely surprised with the size of them! They sang music to a flour tortilla lover’s ear and promised a few more bites of taco than the average street corn variety. Each were filled with a ~70/30 egg to meat ratio that glowed with yellow perfection in my eyes. The quality was exactly what I was expecting for ~$ 5, but the amount took me off guard a bit. The chicken and pulled pork taco were on the salty side but I drenched them with Fuzzy’s sauce and it tasted great. Otherwise, I don’t think I could eat the tacos as is. Carb craving fulfilled. With great cheap flavor comes a price, and that my friends is the amount of calories in these things. The tacos aren’t THAT bad, being up to ~400 each. However, go on their website and you’ll see their migas is ~900! Ugh, $ 6 migas stabbed me in the back with all of that artery clogging goodness. It came with refried beans and small cut up potatoes, a few hot tortillas and a heap of egg-y goodness! It turns out that the best tasting thing I’ve tried at a Fuzzy’s were all breakfast items. Be prepared to walk up and down Elm St a few times before taking that taco induced nap though.

Awww man! I hate when I hear a ton of hype, try the food and end up disappointed. Fuzzy’s has been on my radar for a long time now but I never managed to get to one, so I was happy to eat there for lunch at the suggestion of a friend. I found this Fuzzy’s to be conveniently located and we had no problem finding parking. Also, I must say that the cashier was bad ass and was super friendly. I wish I would have gotten his name but he has been told three millions times how much he looks like Lil Wayne, but I must say that he is much, much cuter and has the ability to enunciate his words. I think he’s doing much better that Weezy, but I digress. After a few minutes, I decided to order a Mexican Coke, and a Shrimp Enchilada Plate with Black Beans and Mix-Mex Fried Rice after my friend raved how awesome the rice was. While I really liked the shrimp enchiladas and found the shrimp to be cooked perfectly, I was let down by the sides. The rice was okay and bordering on bland and the beans were all the way in blandsville despite me adding the Butt Burn Salsa and some salt. I was seriously disappointed. Good beans and rice are a must for me and I dunno… I just was underwhelmed because of it. I do want to go back in order to try the tacos and nachos to see if I like those items better. I’m not willing to give up on Fuzzy’s just yet because maybe it was just a bit of an off day food wise, but I must say that everything else restaurant cleanliness wise and with the customer service was completely on point.

Okay Fuzzy’s, you’re a chain, so my complaints probably apply to all of your family members. Tacos: you can get 6 for just over $ 12, which is pretty good since the tacos are reasonably big(the flour ones at least). They put feta cheese on them though, which gets a little grating if you aim to eat more than one. I don’t mind the saltiness, but the cheese itself is to rich and their salsa doesn’t pack the acidity needed to even out the flavor. Their burritos are pretty big, maybe the size of 3 tacos, and to my delight they do not contain rice or beans, the two items I generally exclude from burrito orders. The location is key — it’s the only fast and cheap food option in the middle of Deep Ellum on Elm Street, other than pizza slices.
