Been here several times for brunch and margaritas. One of my favorite uptown places. The margaritas are great. The service is great and the patio is my favorite part!!!

Mmm. That’s all I have to say. The staff here was friendly, and the food was amazing. Everything from the drinks, to the queso and salsa, to the entrees were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Had to come on by Unilocal and give this place my review. I have been here at least 8 or more times now. My boyfriend and I have basically just named this place«our place» anytime we want good Mexican food(or Tex-Mex if you want to get technical). Every time we have a great experience. Good drinks, good food, good service, and good prices. This place would have gotten 5 stars until this past weekend, where I experienced the best margarita ever… which beat out Manny’s margaritia’s. They are still good though! :)

Stopped by on a whim 1÷9÷16 around 1pm. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with eggs over easy from the breakfast menu. And a skinny Marg. Everything was really good including the chips and salsa. My compadre ordered the fajita combo and I tasted one of his shrimp and it was delicioso. Great place in a great location with a very nice patio weather permitting.

I had the chimichanga rio changes. Delicious. Highly recommend. My wife had the chicken fajitas and loved that also. Service was attentive to our requests.

My first Tex-Mex experience in Dallas! I had the brisket tacos which where recommended by the bartender next door. They where very juicy and tasty. The plate, which was about $ 11, came with a side of rice and beans and some gravy. Came here on a Saturday night and the parking lot was valet only. Very busy for larger parties. We where sat at the bar in the back because it was so busy and received great service from what I believe was the manager. Didn’t get a chance to try any of the drinks but I am looking forward to coming back and checking out some of their margaritas. Manny’s will definitely be my go to for Tex-Mex!

We went to a movie at the Magnolia and walking back to the car this was a convenient option. I’d been several years ago but hadn’t gone back and couldn’t remember why. We shared a mixed beef and chicken fajita, margarita, glass of wine. Overall nothing stands out. I would probable stop again if convenient otherwise…

Very impressed with our lunch time visit during the week. No wait at noon and valet parking The service and the food were great and will return. The patio would be nice a sunny day. It happens that it was raining during my visit. The table we were seated at was a window table and nice view of the area. The beer on tap and drink selection are vast. Very cold tap beer always hits the spot. Make sure you stop by for a lunch or dinner visit. Well worth the stop!

Cousins were in from Ohio and they really wanted to try Tex-Mex. I am so sorry this was the restaurant chosen. But WHO could imagine that Ana Enriquez’s(Mia) sibling could concoct such mediocre food. My Moscow Mule tasted of only lime and water, blech. Mexican Martinis were just nasty. Perhaps the pinnacle of the evening occurred BEFORE we took our seats. Nothing says«Welcome» like being yelled at by a waiter. But that was just the beginning, I was yelled at by this same waiter for wanting the correct item I ordered brought out. And of course that meant that the rest of the meal sat on the table getting cold(er). Apparently, Manny’s does not abide by the Dallas Tex-Mex mantra ”Hot Plate”. These wonderful experiences were followed by discovering that the chili sauce used on the enchiladas is actually made with gristle instead of a good cut of beef, and by good, CHEAP hamburger would have worked just as well as the slimy hard bites of gristle. Please tell me what this obsession with dyed or colored corn tortillas is. The tortilla in my chicken enchilada had been dyed brown, making the tortilla taste, chew and cut like a 3 day old stale tortilla. All while covered in a sour cream sauce. The tortilla in the cheese enchilada was slightly more fresh and under that gristle gravy looked like it may actually have been yellow, the normal color of the cheaper corn tortilla option. White corn tortillas are wonderful, but slightly more expensive. Whatever you do, DONOT show up here thirsty. You get ONE glass of water and NO refill, your empty glass is just ignored like the empty chip basket and salsa bowl. And despite asking the yelling waiter for refills, my glass remained empty except fot whatever ice melted. By getting up and locating a pitcher on a serving station I was able to get a refill. Perhaps Manny’s should invest in pitchers so each diner could have one for the course of their dinner.

I haven’t been here in years! I remembered loving their cheese enchiladas. I ordered the lunch special which included one cheese enchilada, a chicken with sour cream sauce enchilada and a cheese taco. The cheese enchilada was superior to the other two… but all were good. Chips were awesome but not my favorite salsa. I think my husband would have loved it… I like a little sweeter and chunkier… all the cilantro you can pack in! Service was stellar. Walked in a was greeted by the host, seated quickly, quick service, full glass the whole time and my check quickly after I asked. Will be back… next time with the hubby. He’s jealous of my Dallas lunches.

Hands down one of my favorite places to go with friends when we want to get some great TexMex, have some beverages or watch soccer on TV. You can’t go wrong with the brisket tacos, fajitas or some chicken flautas. Order some tomatillo sauce on the side if you get the flautas. It’s the perfect touch. Salsa is frequently a little too spicy for me so maybe just get the queso. So the atmosphere is fun and the texmex is legit solid but I also want to point out something that is really rare — like a complete idiot, I left with my wallet sitting on the table the other night. After driving 10 minutes, I realized and backtracked another 10 minutes. When I went in, they had it sitting for me up at the check in desk with nothing touched. Um, that’s pretty pro in my eyes. So yes the food is awesome but being trustworthy is worth A LOT more than that. Go to Manny’s.

Really chill spot nearby west village with great prices. Authentic flavors & attentive service. Many options of quesadillas, nachos, quesos, fajitas, etc! Really enjoyed the skinny patron margarita. Great spot, we’ll be back

We went for drinks and an appetizer on a Thursday at 5pm. We sat in the dining room. They have a small bar that seats less than 10 people. I had a skinny margarita which was very good. Not part of HH though. The HH margarita is made with house margarita and a mix. We ordered the queso and chorizo appetizer. It is made with orange processed cheese(like velveeta). Nothing impressive. The chips and salsa were delicious. There is valet parking for a fee. They have a large back patio or indoor seating to choose from. Overall it is a nice place, but I wasn’t overly impressed when there are so many other options in Dallas.

Genuinely love this place! They have a pretty good scenery– front patio is nice, back is ok but not as open. The back room when we came was hotter than hell because the AC was out. First day of summer weather so we had to drink a lot of margs to cool us down. Which are very good! We usually get a floater but Watch out. The floater cost us $ 7 when the margarita was only $ 8… The Mexican martins are a bit off because you don’t even get a shaker. We come here pretty often and split the Manny’s special add an extra enchilada. Their chips and salsa are on point– salsa is a bit spicy but not too hot. They take reservations which is great but do try to be seated in the main housing area because the back room is a little rough. We were a bit unsatisfied with our most recent trip– we made a reservation a few days before for 9 on a Friday. We were seated in the back room which was 83 degrees(says the thermostat) in the beginning of June… Our service was pretty awful but our waiter seemed to have more tables than he could handle. Nonetheless we love this place, but 6 of our friends had never been to Manny’s before so it was unfortunate they didn’t get the experience we normally do.

Good but nothing extremely special about this tex-mex restaurant. Sandwiched between Lemon Ave. the parking situation can be a hassle but alas there is complimentary valet(don’t be a prude and not tip). The place can get quite busy during the dinner rush so plan accordingly or consider yourself warned. Decent patio area and plenty of seating inside for small groups. The food has been above average each time I have been here but nothing that will blow you away. The service has been below average each time, not rude but certainly not the quickest… which probably the reason there is a bad bottleneck around dinner time.

I’ve passed this place several times and always said I need to try it out because it looks like a cute little fun place. I recently read an article that noted them as one of the top tex mex places in Dallas, so I decided to check them out on one of our recent date nights. I was not impressed with the food. The tortilla soup was good. I ordered the appetizer platter in order to try multiple items. It came with brisket nachos, chicken nachos, taquitos and quesadillas. I added chicken to my quesadillas. I will say the quesadillas were very good, but the rest of the platter was not good. The salsa was lacking a pinch of salt. The customer service was ‘eh, We had like 3 different waiters. One would disappear for a long time and then someone else would show up without notice that the other one had left. We sat on the patio, which was nice, but it seems that they forget about the people on the patio and don’t come around often enough. The nachos were caked with gooey cheese. The chicken the taquitos was flavorless. I’m glad the chicken they used in the quesadillas was seasoned up. I hate bland chicken. It’s a turn-off. Also, the table next to us had their dogs with them. The guy bringing the salsa around played with the dogs, which should be a no-no if you’re delivering food to tables. I do want to give them another chance. Maybe try a signature dish and a margarita. I like that they have complimentary valet.

Prime location *Uptown Dallas*. Fast, quality service. Tasty food. This is a solid 4 star experiebce, if not 4.5.(I can’t figure out how to give a ½ star rating). The chips are hot, crunchy and fresh and the salsa is homemade and brave.(Made my lips tingled but not at the burn level) I ordered ½ order brisket nachos and couldn’t eat them all. Each nacho is piled high with savory brisket and melted cheese. Included on the plate were 3 extras: guacamole, sour cream & pickled jalapeños. portion size is generous for both the nachos(meat on the chip) and extra toppings. The waiter, David, was attentive but not hovering. excellent service. I look forward to coming back and bringing my friends and family.

Happy hour drinks, specials like$ 3 import beers. We ordered enchiladas and brisket tacos. Well, brisket tacos were way too salty! Poor piggy, chef got way out of hand with salt. Another negative, the salsa was way too spicy. On a good note, the service was attentive and courteous. After I told the server that I was not a fan of the brisket, he said sorry and took it off the bill. That was a nice gesture since he didn’t have to and I didn’t ask. This place has outdoor and inside seating and is across doggy park! So if you don’t mind spicy salsa and salty brisket, enjoy. I don’t think I will be coming back soon, maybe for a drink with girlfriends!

Good overall Tex-Mex. Warning, their salsa is more on the spicy side. After the first bowl, my tongue was burning, so I couldn’t have anymore. I enjoy eating chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants, so since I could not eat anymore without burning my tongue, I was somewhat disappointed. 2 stars for the chips and salsa. The enchiladas were quite good. I got one chicken and one brisket. Both were 5 star worthy. The sauces on top of each one were flavorful and well seasoned. The rice and beans were 4 stars. While this dish was good(and I would certainly return to eat it), nothing else on the menu impressed me. The one redeeming quality is that they have brisket(tacos, enchiladas, etc.). Unfortunately, I wasn’t blown away by the margarita. It tasted like it came from a mix and wasn’t very strong. 2 stars. Our waiter was quick and attentive. On a Friday night, our food was on our table within minutes after ordering. 5 stars. Overall three stars. I know that’s not what the mathematical mean of my tallies, but this is a weighted formula. Chips, salsa, and margaritas are very important to the overall rating, and unfortunately for them, they lack in this area. The good news is they are not far off, and they are in a good location.
