Ive been eating here for literally years. I love this food-I compare all other chinese to them, and no one else comes close. Its always so delicious and Im always happy when I eat it. Sams Wok is definitely my comfort food and ill never get tired of it. Order the Crispy Beef Spicy if you want the best beef ever!

If I could give this place half a star, I would. There is so many wrong things with this place. I will not be back not recommend this place to anyone. I don’t understand the high ratings. I wish I would get my $ 17 back. The only thing that was decent was the Rangoon. I asked for fried rice. This is not fried rice, it was so dull, pretty much rice and soy sauce. The egg roll tasted like it had wasabi and it was soggy. The entrée itself is not good. It was chewy than crispy. I ordered the crispy beef, it tasted strange. As for the soup. I ordered the egg drop soup and they gave me wonton soup with one dumpling. I wanted egg drop and it was the wrong one. Also, the wonton crackers they gave me seem like it had mold! Look at the pictures! I lost my appetite. I will not go to this restaurant again. The wait was about 15 minutes and was slow.

Typical greasy, indulgent take out Americanized Chinese food. It was exactly what I was looking for to bring home to share with a friend for a girls’ night. I will go back for sure. It was cheap, quick and tasty.

This is our go to take out Chinese place in the area. Largely because of it location, but the food and service are solid. We have used both take out and delivery and take out usually takes about 15 – 20 minutes for an order, delivery 30 minutes or less. We usually go with the dinner for 2. With two good sized entrees, 2 rices, 2 soups, crab rangoons or pot stickers, 2 egg rolls, fortune cookies and 2 drinks for $ 21.50 this is a great deal. For both me and my husband this usually lasts 3 – 4 meals. We have enjoyed all of the entrees, appetizers, and soups we have tried. The last time getting the beef with broccoli and chicken with snow peas. The veggies usually taste fresh and the entrée sizes are good sized. There are usually a lot of veggies which I really like. I definitely recommend. They often are open on Christmas Eve too which we like since my family has this tradition and many of the local places are not open on Christmas Eve.

Pretty good Chinese take out. It is similar to Lovers egg roll on coot and I prefer Lovers, but this place gives you huge portions main dish, rice and a very good egg roll. People there are friendly — I will return.

I have only been there once, I order the wings and sesame chicken(that came with an egg roll). I ate it all and it was pretty decent. I want to try the fried rice because as I was walking out(the small place, about 5 booths, was full) they brought out some Chicken fried rice for one of the folks eating there and it looked great.

We order from here fairly regularly. Food is good and reasonably priced, and the location is convenient. I like their egg rolls and the shrimp with lobster sauce, but everything is good– it’s pretty traditional take out Chinese like you would expect.

The food is delicious! Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the front of house had stuff all over the place, but it’s not that important. I had the chicken fried rice, egg roll, and egg drop soup. All were very good. Will be going back to order from here again.

I have finally found my chinese delivery place! I have tried quite a few places around my house but have had NO luck in real chicken and edible food. Sam’s Wok is very good each and every time I have delivered and they are usually right on time with their estimates of time. Might I mention that you get very large portions for the price(which is great) so I easily have a couple of meals per order. We have ordered and enjoyed(sorry we are creatures of habit): Egg Drop Soup Steamed Dumplings Crab Rangoons Sweet & Sour Chicken Chicken Fried Rice Egg Rolls

Ordered for the first time for delivery based on reviews. I was blown out of the water! They even surprised me with a couple bottles of water at no charge with lunch. I highly recommend them.

Picked up takeout for lunch. Food was ready very fast. The veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly — not too raw, not too mushy. The Hot & Sour soup was a little more sour than I prefer, but I will order from here again.

Just recently discovered this small place, but I am glad I did. It is very close by and affordable. I’m a big fan of their fried rice and won ton soup. I haven’t tried the rest of their menu but I am sure it will be just as good!

Great place. Solid food. Quick service. That’s all you can really ask of places like this and Sam’s Wok delivered on my expectations. Ordered the chicken fried rice with an egg roll and had some of my friend’s beef and broccoli. Chicken fried rice was excellent– they have a spicy option as well. Chicken was juicy and the fried rice wasn’t loaded with salt like you have at other places. The beef and broccoli was so flavorful– rich sauce and the vegetables were great. The egg roll really impressed me too– nice and crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside. Great place for what it is. I will definitely be back!

This is my first time ordering from this place. Placed a delivery order. Delivery took about an hour so I’m glad I wasn’t super hungry. I ordered on a Saturday about an hour or so after they opened so that may have been why. I ordered the hot and sour soup which was pretty good. The soup had the heat I was looking for but not necessarily the flavor but I added some salt and I was ok with it. I have definitely had worse so no complaints there. I also ordered the Hunan Beef and requested it extra spicy. This dish was good but again lacked the flavor I was looking for. I had to add some spice to this also but the meat/sauce/rice was well prepared. My daughter ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and she didn’t have any complaints and she was given a huge portion. The egg rolls were good and they sent two bottles of water as part of the meal so that was nice. So all in all I think it is above average. I would order again if I am feeling lazy and don’t feel like searching for a new delivery restaurant in the area and reading a lot of reviews.

Love the place! They deliver if you’re close by! Sometimes the owner delivers to my house and she brings little candies for my daughters. Food is excellent and in large portions. Lots of leftovers.

Best Chinese food in the area and awesome customer service. They were super patient with a complicated order and made sure they got it right. It’s probably one of the healthiest choices in the area for a quick lunch. I’m very picky so trust me when I say this restaurant deserves your business!

In search of that really good Chinese take out place. Sam’s has delivered in my opinion. It is located in strip mall, in the back a bit, so you have to look for it. I have ordered from here a couple times now and have to say that for Chinese food — not Thai, fusion or the like. Straight up Chinese– this place hits the spot. The meat is fresh. White meat chicken, beef is lean, shrimp tasted good and not fishy. You know, they look like the real thing versus the normal grey meat, chewy beef and fishy shrimp you typically get at these types of places. Of course maybe you didn’t realize it as much since they usually try to cover it up with sauce. Not Sam’s. I don’t know they make their own sauces but multiple comments were made on how it tasted better. We both had the brown sauce, it had a great taste that didn’t over power the food. Win! Crab Rangoon– actually has crab in it(maybe fake crab but at least the flavor is there). The two corn chowder like soup options. Meh. Interesting but not something I would buy again. Kinda cream corn in chicken noodle soup minus the noodles– you get wonton chips to add as well. The crab one was similar just with«crab meat» — both meats seems to be shredded or minced. Very small pieces. Almond chicken, happy family, beef with scallions. All awesome. They with throw some extra veggies in if you ask as well!

Sam’s Wok is exactly the first thing I think of when it’s been a long Thursday and I want to go home and just watch TV. THAT’S the kind of Chinese food it is, and I’m glad we found it. It’s got the egg rolls I like, the sesame chicken I crave and, especially, the crispy beef I need. If you want to fight me and say X place is better or Y place is more authentic or their cashew chicken is better at Z, I won’t fight you. All I know is that Sam’s is the personification of takeaway Chinese food, and all the feelings and tastes that imposes. Also, they are super nice there, almost scarily so. I didn’t realize we had gone there enough that they knew it was us from a phone call! We got extra cookies from that delivery. Super nice folks, very friendly and personable and helpful. We wanted a Chinese food place near our apartment that wouldn’t get us sick, that we wouldn’t feel the need to try other places, that just had that down home, American Chinese food that you know and love, and Sam’s Wok fit that bill.

Hey, it’s $ 4.25 for a huge 3 compartment container of delicious chicken fried rice and an egg roll. You can’t beat that! It’s easily two meals worth of food for $ 4.25AND it’s darn good. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu(I’m a creature of habit).

Got an order of Sesame Chicken from Sam’s Wok for pick-up. Order was done promptly and the food was good. My only gripe is that their portions need a little adjusting. One entrée is about $ 10 but is too much food for one person and too little food for two.
