I would give the restaurant a 5 star but for the cleanliness. I judge a restaurant by how clean the restroom, the water fountain, etc are maintained… this one disappoints me… but that has not stopped me from going back, again and again. Their veg manchurian is amazing, the spicy garlic fried rice is to die for, and your lunch entrée comes with the soup of the day and egg roll. I have never had a bad soup there so far. Fast, efficient service.

I used to go every time to this place to eat Indian Chinese. Their customer service is terrible. Because of them my guests did not get to eat dinner. They can’t even take an order accurately. My take away bag had half the things missing. I am highly disappointed with them as they charged me additional dollar 20 for nothing.

Terrible food at this place. Not sure why it is even operating. Who manages to get food this bad? One of the worst places you would visit in your life time.

Desperately waiting for 45 minutes for, food arrives cold, bland, flavorless, chinese food nowhere close to chinese, messed up orders, older items not on the books anymore, giraffe tall prices. Wont be stepping in anymore.

Took a couple bites and threw it away. Dude at register recommended Mirch chicken or something, got it home was very spicy which was ok just didn’t come with any rice. For 10 bucks no rice? Just one container full of really spicy chicken. Crappy spiced chicken lol I needed some rice to buffer the meal pretty much inedible without rice. Threw it out.

Bombay Chopstix on Coit Rd has recently become a disgrace after the new owners took over. This used to be our go to place, but the degrading service and quality is becoming more and more evident. Long wait times, & inconsistencies in the menu and taste have become the norm. Another one bites the dust!

My friend and I had never really had Indian Chinese food before, but we were really pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chili garlic noodles, and he had sweet and sour, and both were delicious. The noodles were spicy, but a really dry spice that was great, and the fry on the sweet and sour was crispy in a way we hadn’t seen on that kind of dish before. The tables and silverware station could stand to be cleaner, but overall it was a really good experience.

Never cater from these people. They will leave you with huge grease and food mess everywhere. Very unprofessional and dirty. Very low standard.

One word: HORRIBLE! … went there last night and ordered the chicken 65 and burnt chilli garlic fried rice. They both were horrid. I’m Indian and I’m very familiar with how both these dishes are prepared and it was not even close to the real ting. The 65 dish was loaded with corriander seeds which should not exist. Both were dry and lacked any sort of flavor and worst was our bill for both these dishes was $ 19 which is another rip off… avoid at all costs!

It has been a year or two since I tried this place and now I remember why. The Kung Pao disappointed last time and the Szechuan is even worse. Chewy low quality chicken floating in bland sauce with a few green pepper chunks. I ordered to go and the amount of rice was not nearly enough to balance the giant puddle of glop that was the chicken. Maybe there are good things on the menu but I haven’t found them.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time last night because we couldn’t decide between ordering Indian or Chinese for takeout and this seemed like the perfect compromise. Holy cow am I glad that we gave it a shot despite the mixed reviews! We got the manchurian veggie balls which packed an unexpectedly spicy punch but they were fantastic and the portion size was definitely more than I had expected for an appetizer, the veggie spring rolls which were super crispy and delicious, vegetable lo mein which was the most flavorful lo mein I’ve had in a long time, and vegetable cantonese fried rice which blew away my fried rice obsessed boyfriend. We had placed our order through Eat24(we’re huge fans of it) and not even five minutes later the restaurant called to tell me that they didn’t have the ingredients for something I had ordered(fried veggie dumplings) but that they would gladly substitute anything else for me. The man I spoke with was very apologetic and very friendly. The man at the counter when we went to pick up our order was the same one I spoke to on the phone, and he greeted us with a warm smile and double checked that our order was perfect. I had asked for some duck sauce on the side(side note: this is the only, and I mean only, restaurant I’ve found in the area that offers duck sauce. I’m from New England and it’s unheard of to not be given a ton of duck sauce with your Chinese food up there), and he placed an extremely generous handful of packets in our takeout bag which was so incredibly appreciated. I’m not sure what’s up with all of the one star reviews here, but I know that we’ll definitely be going back soon! The food is too freaking delicious and the customer service is too great not to.

Not sure where to start on this horrible experience. I went to the one on McDermott in Plano. I ordered takeout — a chicken entrée and nothing else. It took nearly 20 minutes to come out and the restaurant had almost no air conditioning. It’s August in Texas so it’s not exactly comfortable without AC. The order was wrong. I was never told the order would take so long to be served. Needless to say, I would never go back and would deter others from going.

It was alright, nothing really special to rave about. Like what others reported it’s an Indian Chinese restaurant. Ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and it didn’t really agree with me. The portions were decent, flavor was okay, but again nothing really special. Probably won’t go back.

Do not be deceived by the same name as the on in Chi-town Bombay Chipstix/Chopsticks. The food quality is much poorer here.

Good Indian quality food. Align it as per your requirement of spiciness. Starters are also pretty good and a good place to have food.

I’m from Bombay so have eaten my share of good Indian chinese I can honestly say that my meal here today was THEONLY good Indian chinese experience I have had in my 8+ years in Texas and trying Indian chinese in Houston Austin and other place in DFW I began my meal by ordering and then complaining to the person taking my order how the Indian chinese in Texas isn’t up to the mark and he said try ours and let me know what you feel. He surely lived up to his word! Chicken manchow soup — like you get in Bombay. Could’ve been a little less salty chicken lollipops — great sauce, cooked perfectly Burnt chili garlic fried rice — well made Chili fish — I always judge an Indian chinese place by their fried rice and chilli chicken quality and this restaurant did well hitting those notes. I also always order the shezwan sauce at my Indian chinese meals, pics have been attached. The sauce was also very good. Indian chinese lovers need to try this place!

I was being incredibly lame and thought the Bombay Chopstix food truck was one of those specialty trucks. Unbeknownst to us, it was just some restaurant in Richardson serving dishes the quality of something you’d get from a food court in a dying mall. I assume a restaurant would serve their best items when out in a truck so I can’t imagine their food being that much better at their actual location. They totally skimped on the rice, which may be a good thing for my diet but come on, I’m already ruining it ordering Indo Chinese food. The orange and sesame chicken were just swimming in thick cheap sauce. I had to fish around for actual pieces of chicken and the occasional tiny pieces of oranges that were clearly just thrown in to call it orange chicken without adding much to the flavor. I know most of the time when you order orange or sesame chicken they can be very similar, but at least the sauce is different enough to differentiate between the two. Bombay Chopstix doesn’t even try by just practically using the same sauce and tossing sesame seeds in and calling it a day. This is a definite pass. I probably should’ve known beforehand when there was hardly a line compared to other trucks parked.
