I come to this amazing place every time my mom(who is GF) comes to town. For the holidays this year I got her dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, and a chocolate pie. She was really happy with everything. This location as well as the Frisco one are always incredibly friendly and helpful. They let you try samples of the pies and their snack mixes. They always remind me of their shipping service and even though my mom doesn’t utilize it I wish she did. I have to say… the stuff is not just«good for» gluten free stuff. It’s just good! I enjoy everything I’ve had from here that’s GF. I’ve never tried the paleo stuff. I’ll keep coming back!

If you didn’t know this was dairy-alternative or gluten free, the look and taste would still be a cut above. Great selection and affordable handmades. Daytime curbside parking

I absolutely love this bakery! I am Celiac and nothing has set off a reaction and it all tastes delicious. I go about once a week for cupcake treats and have picked up other products from the freezer case. I have not been disappointed at any point. Recently I ordered a birthday cake and simply requested it be made like the vanilla cupcake(Birthday Boy’s favorite). It was simple, cute and perfect!

I came here today and tried the vanilla cupcake and white iced brownie. They were both delicious! Most of the cupcakes are both Gluten and dairy free. The only ones that are not dairy free are the ones with cream cheese. They also have paleo cupcakes that are sweetened with honey. This bakery also has a variety of Gluten free and paleo breads. Overall, this is a great place for Gluten free cakes and breads and I plan to go back.

I neeeeed this place. Y’all know the feeling – I can’t eat gluten or white sugar without disastrous results. So, I am beyond thankful for a place that makes yummy goodies I can just walk in and eat! So, I hesitate to say anything remotely negative about this bakery heaven… So, I’ll start with the good. I love the cookies!!! Absolutely crave worthy. My favorite is the ginger snap(a soft cookie that is more like what I used to call a molasses cookie, no «snap»). So yum with coffee! Also love the decadent cookie sandwich. The decorated sugar cookies are gorgeous, and pretty tasty. Of course, the cupcakes! I had strawberry, and it was pretty good, better than any store bought cupcake anywhere – really moist.(Not quite as good as homemade, tho.) The prices are super high, which is to be expected for all natural ingredients, and unique products. What drives me crazy, though, is that prices are not marked. So, you have to ask. So, your sticker shock is totally public, and you feel pretty sheepish putting back the $ 18 little, bitty bag of rusks. In keeping with the lack of upfront info theme, the packaging also doesn’t have ingredients listed. As I have foods I tolerate better than others, I really want to know what’s in there(not just that it’s gluten free, egg free, «all natural»). I brought some really pricy biscuits to a Thanksgiving dinner, and my friend couldn’t eat them, because we couldn’t figure out what was in them. Grr.

The sprinkled cookies were a great hit at my morning meeting; they were the first to be devoured! Wish there were more options, although I did walk away with traditional chocolate chip, chocolate-chocolate chip, & cinnamon sugar(snickerdoodle). All were really great. It didn’t make much difference to me that they were gluten & soy free, they were delicious.

God I love this place so much! Great service, the staff is always so welcoming and nice, and the desserts are to die for! *Greenville is definitely more vegan-friendly than the White Rock location though If I could marry Unrefined I totally would

Giving a 5 bc the lady that works there was so awesome! I didn’t catch her name but she has green/blue hair. She gladly gave us samples of every bread, was super informative and gave us a free cupcake for coming in! I will definitely be back to but their great tasting breads and to say hi to her :)

Went out of my way to find this bakery. Sales clerk was very knowledgeable, was able to help me with all my questions. For example, I am very well aware of the gluten-free, but have heard the term«paleo» but didn’t understand it. She was able to explain fully and even let me taste a paleo morsel. The items are a little more on the pricey end, and it sounded like they do not bake on site but deliver it in. I bought the gluten free/nut free muffins for a friend, who absolutely loved them. She has a gluten allergy and a very sensitive stomach. I got some cookie sandwiches with frosting inside. The chocolate frosting was almost too sweet and a little grainy, but otherwise totally yummy. It’s a little out of my way to swing by again, but will make sure to keep it on my route.

I love pastries and celiac sucks, so it’s great to have a place where I don’t have to worry about what I order. I get a carrot cake cupcake every time and it’s delicious. Haven’t really heard of a gluten free bakery with better prices so I’ll pay the 4 bucks.

Good little bakery, but steep price. Not sure that I would ever come back. We ordered the chocolate overload and the loaded monkey cupcakes. I believe the chocolate overload is a rotating special and not always on the menu. My boyfriend and I do not have food allergies, but are not averse to gluten/soy/dairy free food. My boyfriend enjoyed his loaded monkey, but he did comment that he felt the texture was weird. The chocolate overload was chocolate cake with a brownie center topped with their vegan chocolate unbuttercream and chocolate drizzle. The cake was fine, but I did not enjoy the flavor of the icing. It seemed bland to me. The brownie center was the masterpiece of the cupcake! That being said, we were given samples of the brownies while we waited for our cupcakes to be boxed up. Y’ALL. I should have sampled before ordering. The brownie was deliciously chocolatey and melt-in-your-mouth GOOD. I would go back just for that.

I stopped here while visiting family in Tx. I’ve eaten paleo for almost five years and know that Dallas has large paleo following. I wouldn’t call this a paleo bakery but it is gluten free. I think they also had a few raw treats. The cupcakes were pretty and flavors sounded good. I got half a dozen to share with family. Two days later some still remained in the box. They were good but not outstanding. The lady who was working there was very friendly and gave us a few free cookies. I’d give half a star for that if I could.

It’s so nice to have a local GF bakery that also has yummy paleo options! My husband and I buy their paleo bread and I love to indulge in their GF cupcakes! They also have great paleo muffins, which I usually take with me on vacations so I have breakfast options that are healthy and good! I’m so happy they opened another location right by our house! Wonderful place!

The quality of what I got for the price I paid was a little disappointing. I got two cupcakes from the paleo line and paid $ 8. They were small cupcakes — I would almost say«mini» and they were just not good. The only thing I tasted was honey. The prices are a little ridiculous considering the quality of the product.

The GF cookies my daughter and I got here yesterday were outstanding — as good as «regular» cookies — moist, chocolaty, nutty goodness! Yum! We’ll be back to try their other offerings. As with most of the GF baking world, it’s a little pricey — the cookies were $ 1 a piece and I noticed that they have brownies which were $ 8 for a package of four.

Wow, I’m really impressed! My manager walked in today with an Unrefined box filled with cupcakes. «Sooo, I’m not sure what happened to Society Bakery,» she said, «but this is what I got!» After the initial panic wore off thinking that Society Bakery had left the area, I took a deep breath and reached for the strawberry cupcake. The words«gluten free» on the side of the box. Ohhhh. I had already taken my cupcake and figured my boss had taken the time to bring us a treat and I might as well try it. Y’ALL. These were really good! The icing was still really sweet while having that natural strawberry flavor shine through. The cake part was also really delicious. It wasn’t as sweet as most cake is but it was dense and moist, not the least bit dry or cardboard-like as some people might think. I’m used to eating gluten free/dairy free/soy free/etc. foods — it’s not a lifestyle I typically follow but I’ve eaten enough of it that when it’s done well, it generally still tastes great to me. I’ll confess that I’m a diehard Society Bakery fan, but these really were quite tasty, especially if you or anyone you know has a food allergy. Can’t wait to try some other flavors!(btw, Unrefined, genius move to put this in the old Society Bakery spot. I think a lot of your new customers are finding you because they didn’t realize SB moved!)

A gluten-free bakery, what a nice little treat! Unrefined Bakery is a gluten-free, soy-free, organic, all-natural bakery with goodies that include breads, muffins, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, etc. Their goodies are made with fresh organic ingredients and unrefined sugars. I will say that I was originally looking for Society Bakery which used to be located here, and when I walked in I thought to myself«Wait a minute… this doesn’t look like Society…» but was, nonetheless, surprisingly pleased with the gem that I had just stumbled across. The lady at the counter gave me samples of a few things that I was curious and I ended up purchasing the«Loaded Monkey» cupcake and also was offered a Double Chocolate Chip Cookie for the road. This store such a perfect find because the person I was purchasing sweets for actually really appreciates gluten-free foods, so it’s great to hear that more stores like this are popping up. I’ll definitely drop by again when I’m in the area and looking for some healthier sweets. Good luck to Unrefined Bakery at one of their newest locations!
