Professional, kind, warm, and efficient! A high tech office in an unlikely spot. This is a wonderful Optometrist with flexibile ease in making appointments. What a keeper!

Pretty cool dude. 1 star off because he seemed impatient with me because it was my first time getting contacts and I had troubles putting it on and taking it off. The process went smoothly overall.

great experience. personal, friendly, and professional. very efficient. also, it’s great that he gives advice. for instance, I’m near sighted(cannot see far). if i wanted to get lasik to have a perfect vision, i would need reading glasses when I’m older. overall, a quick, detailed appointment.

Dr. Thach is a very capable and honest — a reliable practitioner. I did, however, get the sense that I was only truly welcome in the Serramonte Target Optical if I was going to purchase eyewear. The eyewear is – in fact — reasonably priced, but I have been so disappointed by Luxottica and their vendors in the past, I was reluctant to purchase from their lineup of brands available at Target.(Luxottica operates Sunglass Hut and owns the following eyewear brands — to name a few: Ray-Ban, Arnette, Revo, Oakley, Persol, Oliver Peoples, D&G, Versace, Polo, Tiffany, Brooks Brothers, Bulgari, Burberry, etc… Since Luxottica has such colossally poor customer service and warranty protection(I own nearly a dozen pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses, purchased before Luxottica took over the brand, and previous owner Bausch & Lomb walked through fire to stand behind their product, whereas Luxottica wouldn’t spit on you to put you out of you were on fire while wearing their sunglasses…), I have a difficult time purchasing anything from their lineup of brands, and nothing else at this Target Optical location caught my fancy from a «how do I look» perspective. Not having bought eyewear, I got the distinct impression that the Optometrist’s practice was disappointed in me as a patient — fair enough — so I’m not sure if I will return for future check-ups. Having said that, the service on-site is very attentive and courteous. The care by Dr. Thach is – as I said — capable, honest and reliable. For the price — among the best in the Bay Area — it’s a great place to get your vision checked, but I might not return since I’m planning on purchasing my eyewear online.
