This place is a gem! After trying it once, I didn’t think I’d return. Considering how much my husband loved his dish, we went back, and I am so happy we did. It took some time and patience to create my perfect pasta. Now, I crave it constantly! My favorite is the Chicken Diavolo without tomato & green onions. I add extra sweet red peppers and a little Red Pepper Pesto. It’s definitely MY ‘create your own.’ The Garlic Dough is also amazing. The staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate. Give it a try(or two)!

This is my second time to Piada and I liked it just fine. I ordered a calamari Piada and my husband ordered pasta with a meatball. I found the person making food to be a bit slow and unprepared, but I think he might have been on the new side, which made me understand. I do wish that people came to help him sooner rather then later. Food wise, it tasted good and was a lot of food for an inexpensive price. I really enjoyed trying my husband’s food. The meatball was very big and tasty. It was just the right balance of soft, but firm. It had the perfect balance of flavors. We had a good time for dinner and really enjoyed the location.

first time here. my wife ordered a chicken basil pesto pasta. after we sat down she started mixing and found a ball of hair! not a piece but a ball of hair. took it over and told the staff. without an apology, they went ahead and replace a new one for us. but it’s horrible!

Well it’s laid out and set up like an itaian Chipolti’s. you got through a fast moving like and decide what you want … I recommend you pick make your own which is just picking your own stuff. The menu to pick from is never as good as what you would end up with. Anyway you can have it as salad, pasta or Piada wrap which is thinner than tortilla. I always pick the wrap. Then you tell them what meat you want. move on down to the sauce and veggie selections. Lots to choose from. I like the calimari but I get it on the side and make a veggie wrap. the calmari are big stripes and lightly battered and fried with hot peppers. a bit too saltie but still good. They have beer and wine and italian sodas in addition to the regular pop selections. its fast and large portions.

I ate here 4 years ago, and got the pasta with chicken. Then spent the night puking it up and 1 foot in the grave sitting on the toilet.

Fantastic place to get high quality salads and a delicious piada stick as an accompanying indulgence

YUMMMM!!! Absolutely loved this place! The only reason I did not give it a 5 stars is because the service was a bit slow. I do not think it was really the staff’s fault though. I think it had more to do with it was people’s first time there and they were taking a little longer to figure out what they wanted. The food was delicious and I will definitely be frequently this place. ALSO, THEYHAVEWINEONTAP! Yippy!

Our new«go to» place! Think of it as an Italian version of Chipotle. Their calamari is always so fresh tasting(and I do not normally eat calamari!) The Piada sticks are loved by our kids, just wished they had more to offer for them.

Chipotle was slammed so tried Piada tonight. The concept was nice but… The pepperoni breadstick tasted good but I can think of about a dozen ways I’d rather consume nine hundred calories, no kidding look it up. Had this basil pesto pasta bowl that I’ve been reminded of for five hours now due to the indigestion, tasted alright but hasn’t settled well at all. I don’t think I will be going back to Piada. Clean, friendly staff just not friendly food.

3rd time was a charm, really. I went at lunch time in thick of it all. With a solid 30 people inside: my food was still delicious, fresh, and I was thru the line quickly. No complaints, except for the fact that I cannot eat enough Piada sticks.

It was my first time at Piada, and I was pleasantly surprised! The ingredients were fresh, and the staff was friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. We got the pesto chicken pasta and the garlic dough, and the pasta was huge! The pasta was very good, but the garlic dough was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t very flavorful, and extremely oily. The price was also a bit high, and I felt that I could have paid the same price for better Italian elsewhere. But good, nonetheless!

I cannot believe they got rid of the pick two! A side salad and small spaghetti is way too much food. And it cost so much more that way I guess is just another example of corporate greed. I could’ve went to Caraba’s on what I spent tonight. And the lady at the register all she could say is no no no what do you get when you tell your customer NO?!? No more Piada for me

It was just that three stars. I came once and will not come back. Although the ingredients were very fresh, I paid too much for a pasta and was highly disappointed with the amount and the price. I was also not impressed with the Lobster Bisque. Way too heavy and a bit pricey. My boyfriend seemed to love it, but it wasn’t for me.

The lobster bisque alone was enough to have me coming back for repeat visits. Please don’t ever change it. Fast service and fresh excellent Italian street food prepared right in front of you. Plenty of seating space. WIde selection of ingredients to add to make it fit your specific tastes. Couldn’t really ask for much more. Good choice for when you need a break from the norm. I wouldn’t be surprised if these became as commonplace as Chipotle in a few years.

An Italian Burrito. I think the concept is great, but they could narrow the number of options and increase the quality in the process. Nonetheless, it’s rather tasty and reasonably priced. Not only that, they do have a great selection of Italian sodas and teas, and the cheapest house wine pretty much anywhere in the US(most certainly ohio). Not bad at all. I’ll have to try it again.

I’m writing a two-star review for a five star concept. First time I went to a Piada was in Columbus and we loved it. GREAT concept and flavors. I was so excited to finally be getting a location down here in Dayton. The only problem is, the quality and service at this particular store has fallen WAY downhill in recent months, to the point where I don’t really want to go back. It starts with the fact that they are not keeping the bar very well stocked, so they run out of food quickly and then don’t have new stuff coming up quickly enough to keep the line moving. And if you order something like calamari and crispy chicken — what used to be an incredibly quick procedure has turned so tedious that it isn’t worth ordering anymore. The last two times my husband ordered these things, they took so long to get out that the rest of our food was cold by the time they finished making his wrap. The Piada sticks have also not been fresh the last several times we’ve gone in, and they don’t heat them up long enough so they wind up being mostly cold when you try to eat them. This is NOT good for sanitary purposes or for general enjoyment. I’ve noticed the crowd at this location has dropped considerably since opening, and it’s likely because of the poor management here. UPDATE: I was recently contacted by the company to inform me that they’re looking into the issues plaguing this location. I truly appreciate that. Customer service is obviously a priority to them. I will be going back soon to see how things are going. I love this chain and want to continue being a fan.

One of my favorite chain places :)! I wish they had this back where I live in DC area. My favorite meal is the small pasta and small salad. The balsamic dressing is just amazing. The ingredients all taste fresh!

I didn’t know what to expect. All the reviews mentioned an Italian Chipotle. Oddly true, and I am a fan. The portions are huge, and I wish I got a smaller bowl. I had the Pasta bowl with calamari. The calamari was amazing and added fresh vegetables, grilled artichokes(my fav), sundried tomatoes, etc. You name it, they have it and there is no extra surcharge. My only issue is that they don’t serve any alcohol on Sundays. I was craving a Peach Bellini. Damn it, I even want one now! You know it’s a great non-American Italian restaurant when they don’t have Spaghetti and Meatballs on the menu. The food here taste like Northern Italy from what I remember.

There is a location opening in Cincinnati soon so BF and I decided to check out Piada on our way back from Cedar Point. DELISH. I can’t wait to try each and every protein option. And the appetizer breadstick things. And the 1.25 beer and wine!

If loving Piada is wrong, I don’t wanna be right! This is my new addiction as far as food goes!
