Applebee’s

This is one of my hot spots on Memorial Drive. Applebee’s has really stepped their game up as far as offering and brand. Updated menus. The place maybe could use an update (hence the 3 stars) but the food is awesome. Still a decent location. Saw some new plates on the menu that I really would like to try. Also I LOVE the Brunch Burger. It’s so good! Actually a little reminiscent of eating an all star breakfast at Waffle House all at the same time. Yum!

On top of an extra crowded restaraunt and having to wait to be seated by 20 min. We ordered drinks that came late and when I received my food my chicken was burnt as fuck. I asked to speak to the manager waiting again, he took off 15 dollars on my bill but over all a RATCHET EXPERIENCE. Tighten up Applebee’s on Memorial Dr. I’m pissed off and hungry still at this moment. Thumbs down

This Applebee’s is located fairly close to my job, and therefore, I go here often. I was never really a big fan of Applebee’s food, but the food here is on point. It’s also pretty affordable if you have a special friend and order the 2 for $ 20. You HAVE to order the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer! They are always fresh and super cheesy! I could eat a whole tray on my own As a chicken finger connoisseur, I can say the chicken fingers are some of the best I’ve ever had.
My friend and I usually hang out for hours at this establishment. Typically, the service is super slow. It doesn’t usually affect our meal because we tend to stay here for long periods of time.

The worst service and food ever. Manager unprofessional waitress took 15mins to take drinks order. Food was not good. Paid for 2 for 20 deal with 2 ice teas came up to 30 $ terrible terrible service

This location did not live up to the expectations one has when dinning at Applebee’s Restaurant. When we arrived we were told that there’s a 15 – 20 minute wait. This was not a surprise because it’s Valentine’s Day weekend. However the amount of open tables available in the restaurant & how customers were being told that there was a wait should have been a clue. All the while the staff was very pleasant.
Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. She had a table of eight people that ordered before us and another table of people of three who were waiting on the check. The waitress brought our drinks prior to the three appetizers arriving. We had to ask for napkins and silverware after warm food was placed on our table (we never received plates to eat the appetizers). The Brew Pub Pretzels were good. The Sriaracha Shrimp and Double Crunch Wings left quite a bit to be desired but may have tasted better if served at a more appropriate temperature. The tablet at the table would not bring up our bill. The waitress was kind even though it was evident that she was having a hard night (her teammates brought the food out to the table of 8 and helped with our table of two… maybe she had just started being a waitress) I was empressed at how nice the waitress was.

Honestly, this was the worst dining experience of my life. My server’s initial greet was «hi, my name is _​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​and I’m not Mexican. Do you want a frozen jack Daniel’s?» I had a blank stare because I was still stuck on how he insulted my intelligence assuming I thought he was Mexican or even cared whether he was or not for that matter. His response to my silence was «I mean I’m obligated to tell you about it.» I honestly wanted to leave, but my boyfriend and I had already waited 30 minutes for him to acknowledge us. Not to mention he acknowledged an older couple who arrived AFTER us before us, but I wrote that off to a simple server error.
Being a server, I know you get flustered, especially when you are new, which I hope is the case because he honestly was very argumentative about items on the menu. I asked for no onions on my classic burger && his response was, «I mean you don’t have to ask for no onions because there aren’t any on it && then moved the menu over to find out I could read. I was still was silent. The food came out. I figured the nightmare was over, but WAIT, THERE’S MORE.
My boyfriend and I made the dumb decision of utilizing the technology set before us. We paid for our meal using the POS /​tablet (whatever you want to call it) on the table and left. Keep in mind we peacefully walked right past him when we left. We hopped in the car and pulled up to the red light. Next thing I heard was «oh, shxt.»
I turned and looked out the window and there the server was on the highway holding the receipt. We put the window down and explained that we had already paid. His response to our shock was, «I have to come out of pocket for this, I have bills to pay.» No apologies, nothing. He appeared to stare at the tag like he was going to call the cops or something lol. At this point the whole thing is funny, but I was furious. I called the manager, who appeared to literally not care at all. Honestly, you couldn’t pay me to step foot in there again.
The only reason there’s even a star present is because I had to give a star to write the review.

Call on a Friday night to do a take out order. To only be told that you would have to come inside to order. Now is it just me but isn’t the purpose of placing a to go order is so you don’t have to come in and wait for your food. After I arrive I was confronted with the very rude take out server. I had to wait 30 mins for food i might as well had a seat at a table. Thank God the music was good.

I went here with my daughter on a Friday afternoon. We were seated almost immediately which was nice. We both ordered magaritas she had traditional and I ordered mango. They both lacked alcohol. It’s not like either of us is a heavy drinker, but these were like slushes from the gas station. The manager offered us free non-​frozen drinks that we accepted. They were both completely CLEAR! No joke. The food was ok but because of the manager’s lack of caring and the bar service we won’t be going back. By the way we love the Applebees on Cascade.

Not sure if this is the normal service for Applebee’s but we patronized Applebee’s on memorial tonight and I had to come home and write a review first off our waiter Justin was excellent his customer service exceeded my normal expectations of Applebee’s.justin was very personable and very knowledgeable as well. he kept us filled on drinks and his drink referral was delicious I appreciate someone who takes pride in their customer service and Justin was refreshing took time to make sure we had what we need at all times excellent excellent excellent employee Applebee’s he made my night enjoyable and we enjoyed out outing tonight very much thank you for taking pride in your service and keep up the phenomenal work.

I don’t even know where to begin so I will make a long story short by describing our visit.
Waited 30minutes AFTER being seated without offering any drinks or appetizers.
Got food FINALLY and have no utensils to eat with so had to wait on that
The lady I asked jokingly asked if we wanted plastic ware or silverware, wrong timing for that kind of humor
Got a plain baked potato with no side of ANYTHING for it. Had to ask for butter and sour cream
Steak wasn’t cooked right. Was between rare and medium rare when I asked for medium. Also it was tough meat also, had to chew and spit meat I couldn’t swallow in a napkin, thinking I’m going to eventually get to some edible pieces I did this about 3 times until I said forget it.
No one checked on us after meal, at all.
After about 10 minutes, lady stops by and drops off ticket to pay. I’m still not even half done eating .
She comes back 5 minutes later with the implication of picking up check. (We felt rushed to pay) never has a waitress done this to us before.
The worse part is when they turn rap music on inappropriate for my 7 year old and 9 month old to listen to WITH cursing. Now its time to go! ToGo Boxes please! ZERO TIP! GOODBYE. (And that’s very unlike us to not tip at all but tip for what and to who?!)
We’re visiting from Texas and had no clue we were going to be walking into a «hood rat» restaurant/​club like this. Smh
And they have a «poo be gone» billboard right on top of restaurant. Yea THAT poo needs to be shut down or under new management asap.

As far as Applebee’s goes this one was one of the best. Great atmosphere for sporting events very casual, cheap drinks and good food deals. I had the bourbon steak which hit the spot it was cooked to order and served with sautéed mushrooms and onions and didn’t need any additional seasonings.
The staff was friendly and engaging even during a busy night.

This was my first time here and the service was great. The hostess was friendly and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Our waitress Sarita was very sweet and pleasant. She made sure I had everything I asked for. I had the half rack baby back ribs and it was good. I will definitely be back and when you visit make sure to ask for Sarita. :)

For years I try to avoid certain food chains but this takes it. This so-​called restaurant have to be the worst in appearance, location and services. In front of the entrance there is a sign for superior, and it says and i quote «Poo-​B-​Gone» which I felt disgusted about the sign though it’s above the restaurant.
When I first come in we wait several minutes to find a table which it was behind 3 drunken floozies shouting and laughing loudly
Which I didn’t have a problem with but clearly being noisy and all I wanted to is eat and be calm.
When my food came along 8 minutes later
I was glad to have food in my system.
But I soon regret the burger was just filled with grease I felt like biting into a rebel in the 50s
(Hence the term greaser) the only thing that was good was the coca-​cola

Do not go here. Today was my first time coming here and the total messed up my order. And the tried to justify their mistake. At the end of the day it was not what I asked for. I ordered curb side to go and still had to come inside to get my food even though they asked me on the phone about my car. I just left. The won’t be getting my money.

While i don’t expect superb service from Applebees, the service we received was just awful. Our waitress was also the waitress for the surrounding tables, we only saw her when she was tending to them. We got long island ice teas that looked more like long island lemonade. Someone else served our drinks and food (i only mention this cause she served the other people but didnt serve us for some reason) the food was at least decent. The drink was super strong, she brought water like 10 minutes after we got our drinks and after we had put our food orders in (never been somewhere that didnt give water beforehand)

I hate this Applebee’s & I understand hate is a strong word. If it wasn’t for the nice lady who wasn’t even my waitress I would have left & refused to pay for the crap I got! It took about 30mins before we got so much as a water & another hour to actually get the food! By the time we did it was pathetic, sloppy, they had made mistake on the type of chicken so they scrapped it off leaving remnants of BBQ sauce on the plate where I’d ordered buffalo chicken! My kids had like 12 fries! I had to ask for the condiments that are supposed to come with the platter & they were delivered ONE AT A TIME by THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE!!! By the time one came back with only the ranch I’d have to remind her about the salsa & the marinara sauce then another would come back with salsa & I’d remind that one what else was still missing! AHHHH!!! By the time we got everything I was ready to go!
The waiter explained that the CC machine was down & they’d have to do my card manually! Like we needed anything else to take forever! Then I waited another 15mins for a to-​go box & 10 more for the check! Heaven forbid I order desert!!!
There had to have been about 20 waiters just standing around so I’m not sure why we couldn’t get served a little more efficiently! I will NEVER eat at this miserable Applebee’s again! They give bad name to Applebee’s! Where was the manager during all this! Over at the bar talking to people! I just said «why even bother» & just paid & left!

Just not good. No seasoning on any of our food. Very bland and did not taste fresh. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Applebee’s just isn’t good food wise. But coming here for karaōke and drinks is really fun. The bartenders are cool and nice.

I usually stop in after hours with a few friends/​coworkers to get a quick drink and appetizer. The service at this location and the wait time could be much better. I’m not sure if they are understaffed but often times you have to remind your server about the coke you ordered 15 minutes ago, or wait forever and a day to get the check. Also the parking lot here is very small so I would suggest carpooling if you have a large party.

Hey everyone. It is Applebee’s, please do not expect the world.
I decided to go because I somehow had a gift card from some random person who thought I enjoyed Applebee’s for some reason.
We got fast and attentive service at this location. The spinach and artichoke dip was pretty decent… just not enough chips. The food was decent, as was expected.
If you like chain restaurants and are in the area… go check it out!
