Aroma’s Grill

this place has been closed for over a year, and was not that good when it was open, hence the reason its closed

The wife and I went here on 10/​19/​2012 because we had a coupon. I got an italian sub that was decent and she got a chicken parm sandwich which was also decent. The guy who took our order was the cook and he was a friendly guy, but overall the experience can best be described as «meh.» I doubt this place will be in business much longer since it is always empty and the food doesn’t exactly light my world on fire. It’s a high-​traffic location but also a high-​competition location. Aromas hasn’t done much to distinguish itself from the crowd, at least in my book.

Very good prices. Place was empty at 7 pm on a Friday, 3 TABLES. Service was good but unfortunately the waitress had to do everything… greet, serve, answer the phone, make the salads, etc. Food was fair, need to try other items to really judge quality. The entrée I received was not what I ordered, went with it because we were trying to make a movie… got charged for the higher entrée that I did not receive.

Did this open recently? Is it a bad location? Is it not popular? It’s hard to tell. It was completely empty except for me and my son. You’d think that would have meant we were treated like royalty, but we were all but ignored.
We were going to the movies next door, and we like to try new places, so we checked out the menu on the door. It looked good. It looked nice inside, except for the lack of patrons, but it was Wednesday night, so maybe that’s why.
We were greeted by who we later figured out was the cook — he was pretty friendly. The one other employee, a hostess/​waitress, wasn’t so friendly. You’d think with the lack of customers, she’d be happy to see us, but no. Guess she just wanted to do other things.
The food was okay. My son had a sandwich and really liked it. I was having dental issues and couldn’t eat anything with much texture at all. so I had spaghetti. Meh. Can’t blame them because I had to choose such a boring meal, but I have had better spaghetti. I would probably come back and try something more interesting. Maybe.
