Nice location, cozy place. Greeted right away and was seated. Server was friendly and took our order. Besides taking our order and bringing our food, server didnt check on us to see if we needed anything. Italian food was decent but small portions and pretty pricey. Came here on a $ 50 groupon for 4 people and our check still came out to $ 125 and of course we tipped on the entire total before the discount. We didn’t have any alcohol.

Wow I was told to try this joint was told overall was great what’s disappointment. Food was terrible breading was total mush wet mush and to salty my chop was literally no joke 75 percent fat hardly any meat to eat my daughters dish and my son was not eaten my kids will eat anything and would not eat it I stopped rest of my order paid walked out and grabbed a take out on way home. Lesson learned don’t take opinion from others some people have no clue what edible good food is compared to basically dog food my 75 percent sizzling fat with a little edible meat this I wouldn’t even bring home to my dog. Not sure how the owner can sleep at night knowing he’s serving mostly fat covered in mush bread crumbs. The waiter was perfect fast nice and it’s not his fault

Unfortunately last nights visit was atrocious. I brought my wife and 25 year old daughter. THESTAGE: 6 pm, not a sole in the place, choice of wine choice was«red or white, one bottle. California best he could tell me. He also found second bottle of mystery Spain red! We during heavy body California cab nightly. We know our wine by region, taste, type etc. bit of con issuers. Any place that has no wine list and said One bottle of White or armed 75 $… $ 100 is fine just give me some big body cab choices. DINNER: By the way we are Italian and on the ocean, not a tourist(which we know the quality of menu is hit or miss. So, supposed Highly Recomended veal chop was 99% grit fat. Only 10% was edible. Lots of choices, in Upscale Italian. Vic and Angelo’s .Trattoria, Mezzo Luna in ft laud, Steve Marterannos also in ft laud. Rocky’s, the one waiter did well juggling all the tables by himself but I’m glad the cook was not visible. Again 99% grit cutlet. ZEROSTARS. $ 350 typical price for good dinner but this would have been better almost anywhere less. Take it off the bill? I would never ask but after seeing that I tried but could not find any meat on a veal chop I paid full price. Never going there again. I went and got a Philly cheese steak at the walk up joint. ROGER

Wow this place is terrible. This is my 2nd time trying this place and each time it is a disaster. The first time after 45 Min the waitress comes back to the table and asked what we ordered. The kitchen lost our order. Rocky the owner says he will take care of us the next time we come in .we came back tonight and of course rocky is not here and the service is horrible the food is mediocre at best. They are so under staffed. I will never come back.

I decided to take my family here for a family dinner and it all went wrong. Now I don’t know if they just lost focus because of the 30 people who walked in and forget every other patron. But for an hour and a half the only service we received was water and a bread basket that they attempted to give away to another table. An hour and half that the food order was placed and never delivered. An hour and a half that 30 minutes before my father was ready to walk out. An hour and a half that the manager did not come over to apologize or try to do anything. An hour and a half that the bar left alone not to be used. An hour and a half that some random employee(at least I am believing that’s what he was) walks over to the bar and pours himself some soda. There was no music. I didn’t even get to the GROUPON yet. My advice for a restaurant with this many flaws with a staff still receiving a top to improve service. I have never been more horrified and livid in my life. What was supposed to be my holiday gift to my family you crashed and burned and buried. Now I am not a restaurant expert critic but this was totally unacceptable.

Sorry for the length– but the details I hope reach to the owner and hes takes a little from this to improve. Well okay. We decided to do date night tonight and choose this place from reviews and pictures from Unilocal.Needless to say, Unilocal kinda screwed us this time. Upon arrival of walking up, the bar«side» was completely deserted. We peeked through the window on the other side of the wall(that splits the restaurant from bar/club side to the restaurant side) and noticed a few couples and families inside. My girlfriend immediately said«This is the place? No way are we eating here.» I then mentioned to not«knock» it and give it a try before we decide to cast judgement(I have found many wonderful places in this scenario so far.) Upon entry we were immediately greeted my a gentlemen behind the bar cleaning glass ware, and a server asking if we like to be seated(No host-no biggie though since we were immediately acknowledged.) The server whom seated us also was our server, whom we noticed was taking care of the majority of tables in the dining area, shared along with a couple tables giving to the gentlemen we saw behind the bar. We were immediately asked if we wanted drinks to whom which we asked for the wine menu. My girlfriend choose a Pino Grigio –non which we knew of– and told the server to grab the one shes deems most dry(which surprisingly she grabbed the cheapest one.) The taste was good, however, the temp of the wine was way above of which white should be chilled(improper appliance?) Our server then told us the specials which did seem delicious from sounds, however we were stuck on what we intended to come for. We choose an App– Rockys Shrimp– which the sauce was great, however I was severely annoyed on the size and quality of the shrimp(whom was not blackened like described in menu). The shrimp size and quality could be compared to the same shrimp one would by from Publix on those platter plates. If its named your restaurants name, keep it up to par with what the standards should be… maybe Rock shrimp for choice of product. Our entrees we choose we Veal Piccata and Francese. Her piccata was she said was«okay, have had better.» My francese(a dish I love and eat at all Italian places) was: well the sauce was GREAT! Props on that, however the breading was mush, and the veal was like rubber. But I was able to be muster through it. However what did agitate me was the side dish of pasta. I get it, its a side dish– however the tomato sauce on top was just that tomato sauce, from which I personally feel was dumped out of a can. No flavor at all, simple. My thoughts, just personal laziness on the chef. Overall, the service was great! Sam did a wonderful job all the way through! However I feel bad for her due to shes set up with failure. I did not complain there and paid the entire check of $ 79.50 and left $ 20 as a tip for it was not her fault. However I shun the chef and pity the owner. Invest a little more money on a superb chef to make delightful cuisines and less in the place to look like a night club(DJ booth, color changing back lightdrops behind the bottles in the bar, disco ball!??- i thought this was Italian restaurant, not a Jersey Shore club. My advice to Sam– find a better location because you deserve better quality dishes to serve to others, equaling better tips. My advice to owner– man up and own your restaurant and serve dishes you would serve to your family. Chef– OWN your kitchen and demand change in the product for the prices customers are paying. Needless to say– we will not be coming back.

Wouldn’t honor our groupon, only 4 shrimps on $ 23 shrimp scampi, lobster tiny as a crayfish, pasta bolognese was basically ground beef. Inferior.

Dining here was the perfect disaster. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. I should have known when walking in and standing around waiting for someone to help us for 10 minutes it would be a long night. Finally the 75 year old bartender sat us at a table where there was a giant hole in the wall. It looks like this place was built in the 90s and never cleaned since. Dirty mirrors, sticky floors, and old décor. Ordered wine which was terrible. I then noticed they store the bottles above the shelves next to the ceiling. Ordered the linguini puttanesca and penne vodka. After waiting 45 minutes while listening to an 80 year old karaōke singer I told the waitress I was leaving and the so called food came out. I’ve never seen a dish where you couldn’t see the pasta under the lake full of sauce. They poured cans of sauce on top of terrible pasta. Not edible. To put a final turd on the night I was told the credit card machine was not working. Seriously. Just a nightmare.

My wife and I visited this conveniently located restaurant off Atlantic Ave in the heart of Delray Beach, FL restaurant row. This superb family owned restaurant offers outstanding menu selections for every discerning palate who loves excellent Italian cuisine and more! As an added bonus, a free municipal lot is right next to the restaurant. Service staff was professional and attentive. The cook personally came out and ensured everything was to our liking. Rocky’s is a hidden gem and should be visited when in town. Perfect dinner, food, service and visit!

Oh Rocky’s. I love your food but your service was terrible tonight. What happened? I made a reservation for 8pm and did not get seated until 9pm. We were not asked about orders for another 30 minutes and got our appetizer around 9:10pm. I am still seated here right now waiting for my bill. We have been here for 3 hours. I would have given you three stars but you never once communicated to us that you were running behind. Loved the eggplant, calamari, everything we ate. But my goodness you fell short tonight.

I Love this place! Everything is perfect every single time! Meatballs are so good! Hard to find in Florida! Service is always superb. Real Italian food and great ambiance! We even like to go just to have drinks at the bar! Chris is awesome and Rob’s a doll! Calamari is amazing… FYI

Was in the mood for some Italian food last night, while on vacation, so we checked Groupon offers and found this place a few doors off Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. We found off-street parking next to Rocky’s, and walked in around 6PM, only to find all the tables empty. Thankfully, it didn’t stay that way… by the end of our meal, the place was nearly full. We ordered the antipasto platter as an appetizer, which was masquerading as a full dinner! Drizzled with a balsamic glaze, everything on it was fresh and tasty. My wife ordered blacked snapper with potato wedges and I had veal parmigiana. Each arrived steaming hot to the table and the portions are very generous and delicious. We will definitely be back.

The food is delish! The fried mozzerella and the caprese salad are amazing! The mussles marinara, rigatoni with veggies and italian sausage and penne alla vodka are also outstanding! The eggplant parm is a little too eggy with its coating. Our server was nice, but maybe not super experienced. He was hard to hear when describing the specials and he didn’t seem to know the answers to most of our questions. We had to ask to have our bottle of white wine chilled. The food and ambiance are great and totally worth it, though!

Best Italian restaurant in town! I had such a lovely waiter by the name of Rocky, the owner and was treated as if I was right at home. Ordered a glass of wine, mussels, a salad and shrimp scampi! It couldn’t have been better! This is a must go, you will not be disappointed!

Not sure why there are a few negative reviews, our experience was very positive. Came here with another couple based on a friends recommendation. When we walked in Sunday eve around 6 we were the only patrons. We turned to one another and wondered at first if we were in the right place. We were warmly greeted and quickly learned that we were in the right place when the menus were presented. We elected to stay and give it a shot. Glad we did. Each of our meals was excellent. I had the Baked Ziti Sicilian with eggplant. It was excellent. The others had fresh fish — snapper and grouper. Everything was perfectly prepared. We dine out very often all over the U.S. and we were very pleased. I guess the couple bad reviews could make one cautious, but we will return.

Ate here last night and I’ve got to be honest, we were VERY disappointed. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, I would highly recommend going somewhere else. The food is not fresh at all. I had veal with a Sherry sauce and the veal was over cooked and lacked flavor. I called it a Sherry sauce but it was more like a soup… It comes with a side of pasta with marinara sauce and again, I call it a marinara sauce but it was more like a soup. It tasted and looked identical to the crap you buy in a can at the store and heat in the microwave. My girlfriend had cheese tortellini with pink sauce and like me, she was very disappointed with her meal. The tortellini’s tasted like they had been frozen, and again, the«sauce» was more like a pink soup. There is no freshness or quality to the food here whatsoever. We only went because they had a good groupon offer and now it is apparent why they need to offer groupons to attract business. With so many other great restaurant options in downtown Delray, I would recommend avoiding Rocky’s until the menu receives an overhaul. Positive note, the service was good.

Best spaghetti & meatballs I’ve ever had. Chicken parm is delicious and the snapper is AMAZING!!! The last few times we’ve been here we were pretty much the only people here… This makes me sad because I don’t want to see this restaurant go under… Check them out!!#
