Loved the Sliders, pork tostadas, devil eggs and fish dip! So amazing, and you can’t beat those happy hour prices!!!

The food might be solid, but the price isn’t worth it for a gastropub. When you’re located in the heart of Downtown Delray and there are at least half a dozen different restaurants to choose from, it’s not the first on my list to go. Despite having a happy hour menu, the price you pay for an sandwich, let alone an entrée isn’t justified. For a gastropub, the prices are more suited to a steakhouse in my opinion. It does have its pluses: stylistically decorated that’s reminiscent of Mad Men, and the service is consistent. However, it just doesn’t have the same luster to me as it did a couple of years ago.

Again, I’m giving this shit hole of a bar 1 star. I came with like 5 people and I’m the only one who gets ID’d like really you don’t pick and choose who you want to ID. Then gave me an attitude the rest of the night. I’m done with this place. Complete Bullshit! DONTCOMEHERE

After not eating dinner at an appropriate time, we decided to check out The Office for their late night happy hour for dinner and drinks. We ordered the Kobe Beef sliders with bacon jam, bbq and Swiss. Probably the most flavorless burgers I have ever eaten. Bacon jam and BBQ sauce were nowhere to be found and the beef just tasted like grease. My sister ordered the tostadas. They were also lacking any real flavors and the meat was served cold– not sure if this was intentional or not. Extremely disappointing meal. Tostadas, I can understand– but how do you screw up a burger?!

Great little hang out spot! Ask for Kyle the bartender to make you a «Casual Friday» it’s a vodka drink on steroids and awesome! Check out their all day happy hour and the bar rocks! Have fun here and plan to stay! Food and drinks on point!

Coming from PA to FL is always a joy to try new places. This was a place that was suggested by a good friend who shares some of my tastes. The décor and ambience is really unique — plenty of light. I’m really a pain in the behind with lighting and what I eat. Appetizer we ordered the mussels and the sauce and amount of flavor is just wordless. Try them!!! They are superb! Ordered the CEO Hamburger and must say the tomato jam is really awesome. A bit tangy and spicy flavor really gives a kick to the burger. Bun seems to be made on site or at least feels fresh. I had my burger with truffle fries which are to die for only thing the parmesan cheese really kills the flavor a bit. Really the reviews don’t do justice for the place. 5pm on Sunday and it is packed! Selection of beers? Take a look and smile!

I actually like this place a lot. Great place to have a drink and come during their happy hour. However their scallop and prime rib dish is severely OVERPRICED. $ 32 for a miniscule amount of food. The scallops were good but the meat had way too much smoke flavor, the mushrooms tasted strange and the other veggies were mediocre. Of course they messed up the bill at the end of our meal. Music is way too loud. Fun place to have drinks and appetizers, but not the best for a nice dinner. I will now only go here during their happy hour on the discounted food.

It’s okay, better than the first time. For some reason it all felt rushed. Maybe the server needed to leave, maybe they needed the space after their DJ started playing But truly hate the feeling of being rushed at dinner.

The service sucks and the food sucks. I understand during the weekend the bar gets a bit crazy but the bartender was completely rude to me, and ordered a wrong dish… I almost talked to the manager on the way out but everyone there seemed all busy with whatever they were doing. Not very professionally managed and customer oriented. The only thing that you want to get from The Office is just the cocktails during happy hour. Do not get any Food and expect good service here!

Started off saying hello to hostess asking for a table in the shade. Hesitant putting table of 2 at a four top. Offered to sit at bar in the shade and the lunch journey proceeded. Pulling up chairs to bar, both myself and work colleague felt the bar surface to be very sticky. Requested the bartender wipe is down, never occurred. Bartender stated that was how the bar is and placed plastic place mats in front of us. Ordered appetizer and luckily the food runner brought plates for the wings. Given dinner menu instead of lunch menu. Ordered crab cab sandwich and colleague had kale salad. Kale salad was a solid five stars. Crab cake five stars as all crab meat, hardly any fillers. Cold soggy fries negative two stars. No pre-bussing by bartender as appetizer plates and lunch leftovers sat behind with 20% tip. Not sure why I tipped the standard, but I felt dirty tipping less. I wonder if the bar was wiped down after our lunch. If you do decide to spend your money here, go to a table for better service. As walking out, noticed the table for four people only had two. Why again did the hostess not seat us as requested at a table in the shade?

Went into this place on a Saturday night around 10pm. The place was great! Best burgers we’ve had in a while. My husband and I are on a low carb diet so we asked for no bun, and no fries. They had no problem with this. When my husband’s food came out with the side of fries, he asked to take them away(no temptation) and it was promptly done. In fact the waiter brought us out a side salad instead. Even without us asking. It was a delicious burger and a great salad. The sliced fresh parm cheese was delicious. Prompt service, great food. Our only issue was — it was a Saturday night so they had a DJ. It was a little loud, but they were playing great music. I would definitely recommend this place. Glad we went.

I usually wait to eat somewhere at least twice before submitting a review, but having been here in October 2015, and enjoying our meal, but not having had a chance to return yet, I thought it only fair that I submit a review now. We were there at an odd time, 3PM midweek, so the lunch crowd was gone, and the happy hour folks(old and young), which started at 3PM, had not yet started to arrive. In fact, we were the only table occupied, so it was hard for our server, Nikki, to ignore us, and she didn’t. Realizing we had not been there before, based on how we studied the menu, she offered some suggestions and answered our questions, and was attentive throughout the meal, even though she was also engaged in side-work set-ups. Started with two Islamorada, which, at $ 7., seemed pricey to me, but then again, this IS East Atlantic Avenue in Delray. The large Pellegrino was $ 7, which wasn’t a bad price. Ordering bottled water wherever we eat, there are someplace which go nuts and charge $ 9. for this water. Had the pretzel bread at $ 9., which was really good, but would not re-order it, even to share, as it was too filling. Shared Tuna Tacos at $ 18 and Buffalo Chicken at $ 18, and particularly appreciated the overflowing tuna tacos. Fresh Tuna, crispy tacos, fillings just right. The above meal was $ 70 before tip, so if anything knocks it down 1 star, it is the pricing for the type of place it is, and what you are getting. No real complaints, and while many of my fellow Unilocalers complained about«hit or miss» service, I cannot discuss that, and would have to return on a weekend or busy weekday night to see if I had to beg for the attention of my waiter/waitress, even if I do have beautiful blue eyes, and they should be paying attention to our table, if not for me, for my #superhotfiercehusband.

For bar service only. I think this place is a decent watering hole for the 20 – 30 something crew. Came here on a mid-late Friday or Saturday night and saw what I’m fairly certain were about a half dozen Tinder dates happening in front of my eyes. In addition, there were other people that were trying to make magic happen in the opposite corner of the bar with women who were 40+ wearing far too much makeup and far too little clothing. For that type of atmosphere, make The Office your stop after the office. This place isn’t bad. It has what I call a ‘sandwich bar’ where the same bartenders are servicing inside and outside bars, so it looks like there are two bars, but there isn’t. There are two sides of the same bar but one side is outdoor and one is indoor. The problem lies in the fact that there is one staff for both but double the people and it gets crowded. They need more staff to service the bar when it gets later but evidently that doesn’t happen. I will give them props to the fact that their house drinks are not horrendously expensive. A glass of house wine and a vodka soda was under $ 10, I don’t think I’ve seen that in a WHILE. Too bad the house Chardonnay was not Chardonnay, and whatever it was was AWFUL. Knowing their house wine is awful, I’ll order something else next time, but the atmosphere here is pretty cool, and it’s not horrendously crowded, has a few TVs so you can keep up with a game or two if you want, and it’s got the downtown Himmarshee feel if you want(take your drinks out and about) which I like so you’re not trapped in a crowded bar. This place could gain stars by having more wine selections which I would expect more of in a foodie town like Delray. I’ll be back, the people watching is awesome.

Yes! For having an overall rating of 3-stars, I was really impressed with this place! We stopped by at about 8pm on a Friday although we were busy, we were able to get a table on the patio immediately. I liked the«theme» of the restaurant with the office vibes and play on words throughout the menu. Our server, Dave was very friendly and attentive. He asked our names at the beginning of the meal and shook our hands afterwards, which has never happened to me before. The have a pretty extensive signature cocktail menu. I ordered a «pink slip» which was tasty and was served in a martini glass. We told the server we were splitting a couple of items and ordered the Caesar salad, veggie burger with sautéed mushrooms, and truffle fries. Our server had the kitchen split the items, so the burger came out in half portions, which was appreciated. I thought the Caesar salad was excellent and loved the boiled eggs that were served with it. The quinoa and lentil veggie burger was fresh and delicious and loved the mini dill pickles that it was served with. Truffle fries were great too. The only drawback is that it seemed a little expensive. Drinks are around the $ 10 – 15 range and although we split items, the veggie burger alone was $ 17. Great flavor, great meals, but the value was lacking. Good service and a good dinner. I would recommend and would stop by again when in the area.

Bar only review — walking up and down Atlantic Avenue stopped here for a quick drink. I liked the outside bar and it just felt like the perfect spot for a vitamin D deficient pair from the New England. Bartender was very friendly and the beer selection was extensive. He offered lunch which we declined saying we were just going to have the one drink, but he still checked back a few times anyway to see if we needed anything else or had changed our mind about lunch. He was pleasant and attentive even though he knew it would be just a quick stop and a small check for us. We did end up having drink #2 as having a cold one outside on a March day was too hard to pass up :).

11⁄21 — DRINKANDSERVICEREVIEWONLY! Unfortunately, this is all it took for me never to come here again. Came here after The Unilocalies. Sat in the bar area, took forever to order a drink. When I did, I ordered Sailor Jerry Rum and Diet Coke with lime. The waitress tells me all they have is Bacardi. I said fine. I give her a $ 10 bill, she returns it to me after a little while and says«It is $ 12.» EXCUSEME??? $ 12 for Bacardi and Diet??? So, I ended up paying $ 15 after tax and tip for 1 drink in Delray Beach. I almost fell out my chair.

I’d been wanting to try The Office for quite some time. I’m rarely ever in Delray, so I’m glad I finally got the chance. I came here with a co-worker after a work event. We really wanted cocktails and small bites. I ordered off of the specials menu– I selected swordfish tacos and the Pink Slip cocktail. The tacos were great. Lots of very tasty flavors, and not too fishy. The cocktail was also quite good. My co-worker ordered the pork tacos and the lobster mac and cheese. She really enjoyed both. I tried the mac and cheese and it was delicious. I had to hold myself back to not each too much from her plate! Overall it was a good experience. A little pricey for my taste, but a good experience.

Me and my girlfriends have so much fun every time we come here. Antonio is the cutest/funniest bartender in Delray and makes the most delicious drinks. Trying the signature Pink Slip is a must!
