Great brunch spot. Food is always on point and staff is super friendly. Also a place for people watching :)

Park Tavern is one of my favorite brunch spots. We went for Father’s Day and had a great experience. I typically get the breakfast pizza but opted for the healthier Ahi Tuna Salad– which was fresh and the dressing was super tasty. The homemade corn bread with maple pecan butter was fresh and melted in our mouths. Our server was Pat who was on top of things and offered to move us inside as soon as it started sprinkling. Thank you for a wonderful Father’s Day Brunch(and keeping us dry)!

I’ve been twice, once for Happy Hour and yesterday for Brunch. Good selection of drinks for happy hour, interesting drink menu with nice flavors. Brunch was also a good experience, I got the chicken and waffles which had great flavor, 3 pieces of fried, boneless chicken, but all the breading fell off. My husband got the home fries and although the portion was smaller than expected, it was packed with potatoes and cheese. Best part of brunch was the unlimited mimosas, they bring a bottle of sparkling wine and carafe of OJ to your table in an ice bucket, no waiting for refills. :) I’d say overall a solid experience I’d go again with friends.

This was our last stop on my birthday bar-hopping extravaganza. It was pretty dead as they were getting ready to close(it was around 1AM). They only had the bar area open and were only serving beer and their smoked old fashioned. The bartenders were really curt, almost rude, probably because they just wanted to get out of there. That sort of attitude made me not want to get anything so I just took sips of my friends’ beers. Some nice patrons next to us let me try their smoked old fashioned which was actually really good with a great complexity of flavors. It’s a shame we had to end the night on a sour note because of subpar service.

We really enjoyed Park Tavern — cool vibe has outdoor tables with great people watching. We had a really great server, Renato who was very welcoming. Husband and I split the chopped salad, it was delicious, the portion was so large we could have split the«split». I had the godfather(burger with Gouda and pulled pork) it was gigantic, perfectly cooked really good. Hubby had the double cheese burger and cleaned his plate, French fries are really good, hand cut I think. Unfortunately no room for dessert but next time I will definitely try the kitchen sink.

Samantha — our server was cool but forget team work BC the other server that came by our table that we asked for help was mean. The dude helping her was mad cool and all about customer service too. Vibe: 5 Food: 3 Burger was flat. No seasoning. Dang… I just wanted a burger after Memorial Day sins burger. Fries — no salt and kinda burnt. Ribs… ummm. Like Chili’s. Mac n cheese — HOTDAMNGOOD!!! Real with white cheese. But who knows. May try again. This place is like a 3.5 –4 but it prob more«fun» on weekends.

I love this place! Here in Delray for Memorial Day weekend on a girl’s trip. Definitely sit outside to people watch and enjoy the ambience with the outside lights. Service is ok, but the food is great. I got the veggie burger which I can hands down say was the best veggie burger of my life.

Great ambience, very loud on weekends but fun. Food great and have many different drinks and beer… My favorite is the prime rib but the jerk pork chop was awesome as well.

Just wanted to go have an old fashion with my wife and son in law but much to my surprise we were denied seating at a table. We were told tables are only for dinning even thought the few dinners that were there and the restaurant was about empty. The manger told us its policy not to seat people who would only be buying drinks. Because it will get busy later. I’m sure by the time we had a drink or two we would have paid around $ 100 and been the place would still be empty and we would be on our way but I guess food dollars are different than drink dollars. Well I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by the usual south Florida attitude of indifference to people. PS we were with my pregnant daughter who was not wanting to sit at the bar or be drinking alcohol

Went to Park Tavern this past Saturday afternoon for a pre-Mother’s Day brunch. Had a reservation so we got right in. We sat outside on the patio. Food was excellent, started off with the corn bread and homemade donuts. Among the entrees ordered were the chicken and waffles, pork sandwich, and breakfast platter. Cocktails were great and beer served ice cold. Overall everyone had a great time and great meal within a great atmosphere. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars was because of the rather rude hostess. Seating hostess was very polite and friendly. We asked for a an outdoor area with shade in the patio, however our table was essentially out in the open. Not a huge issue, we attempted to move an umbrella slightly. She just stared and rolled her eyes when we did. Upon explaining to her why we shifted the umbrella(which wasn’t being used by anyone) she again just stared, mouth open, and rolled her eyes without as much as a word. Don’t let a rude hostess deter you, place is awesome.

Upon entering this bar/restaurant, it is clear that you aren’t in for a quiet evening(not necessarily a bad thing). I’ve come here while visiting my sister for late-night bar hopping and recently when with my family for a late dinner. The service isn’t stellar, but it is certainly in the«good enough» range. The food, however, is excellent. Obviously, get a burger when coming Park Tavern, especially if it is your first time. The burger is made with very high quality ingredients and does not disappoint. The weirdest thing about this place is the men’s room! So, women may not be familiar with this, but it is very common for a «one-hole» toilet to have both a urinal and an actual toilet. The idea is that only one person goes in, and depending on what is necessary, that person uses one or the other. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen, this place had that configuration but with TWO urinals. So, you are in this tiny room with someone else and potentially someone could be pooping with no divider while two people pee. Very, very strange.

This place is great! I’ve only been for happy hour and it’s a great one and it’s on the weekends, too! The location is right on the strip of downtown Delray and the place is pretty nice. Plenty of indoor and out door seating. Bartenders were excellent. I enjoyed their Smoked Old Fashion’s as my friends worked their way around the menu. The Smoked Old Fashion is made with a walnut bitters after they smoke the glass — kinda amazing. And for $ 5 at happy hour how can you go wrong. They also have great food on their happy hour menu. Friends had the deviled eggs(where were quite tasty), sliders and tacos. I had the loaded fried which has pulled pork and gravy, delicious! Do stop in and check out their happy hour. I’m sure the rest of the food must be good, just can’t report on that yet!

David and I went to Park Tavern for lunch during the Bacon and Bourbon Festival… I thought there would be a long wait but we were seated immediately. They have a bar area, outside seating, and inside seating at tables or cushioned benches. We ordered the Country Biscuits & Gravy and the Roasted Chicken Salad Sandwich. The sandwich was fresh and the best part was the chicken salad wasn’t doused with mayo, THANKGOODNESS! It was light! We left feeling full but not stuffed. We also ordered local craft beers to take the edge off. Great selection & I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the 20−30s age range looking for a chill brunch/lunch restaurant.

Came here with friends on Monday night for the $ 5 burgers. Our experience here was very average. We had a short wait time before being seated. Our server was quite comical and entertaining. One disclaimer that we weren’t aware of was the fact that it’s $ 5 burgers ONLY if you buy a drink AND toppings(besides tomatoes, lettuce, and onions) are extra. So you really end up spending around $ 10 give or take, which I guess is still fairly cheap. The burger itself was a good size, but somewhat on the dry side. We all smothered it in ketchup. Some of my friends got a fried egg on theirs so the yolk added some moisture to the burger. It came with a decent amount of fries as well. Overall, the portion size was worth the Monday night deal but just keep in mind, that you’ll be spending more than $ 5. As for drinks, two of us got the lemonade, which tasted homemade and not from a fountain. Unfortunately, this homemade lemonade literally just tasted like water with a excessive amount of lemon juice. It was not sweet at all and could probably cure a sore throat. One friend got the Floridian beer, which tasted like a watered down blue moon. Another got the hard root beer, which was extremely sweet after a couple of sips. And lastly, one friend got a lager. It was good, but I can’t remember any quality that made it stand out. The wait time for us to get our food almost killed us(dramatic, I know). It felt like an eternity for us, especially because people who came after us were getting their food before us. And it’s not like we got anything time consuming… they were burgers. Not sure what the deal was with that, but luckily, none of us were hangry that night.

Haven’t been here in a while but spur of the moment brought me back home. My fiancée and myself made our way to one our all time favorites. Fortunately we were able to get a table without a reservation outside next to the park and it was a spectacular night out weather wise. Was glad to see Ross my friend and server, he’s been with the restaurant since it opened in 2011. We asked Joey(the bartender) to suggest a nice whiskey based cocktail that would compliment the food we were ordering. Sage Against The Machine, words to describe it, just right. Mac and Cheese Skillet Wood Grilled Octopus Shrimp Scampi w/Italian Salad fritte ricotta salada Double Bone In Jerk Pork chop Peanut Brittle Chocolate Pudding Peanut Butter Mousse Pie Park Tavern, you know you’ll have great food, fantastic service and specialty cocktails like no other. Thanks for making such a special night for us !

Really enjoyed this place. The food was unique and delicious, and came out quickly amid a busy evening during Christmas break. I went with a huge group of my friends and family and they were able to accommodate us immediately. Our server was attentive and helpful, ensuring that all of us had what we needed. Even came over and let us know that the kitchen would be closing soon and asked if we wanted any more food. The cocktails were fantastic and the beer was nice and cold. The deviled eggs were fantastic — unfortunately they were out of the warm pretzels, but there was plenty more on the menu to choose from. It was a nice ambience and it was a really enjoyable experience.

Park Tavern is a very interesting place it’s quite chic so it’s nice to come to for a drink or two. We decided to come here just to sit at the bar and have some conversation. They had some gin specials that were subpar but the bartenders were quite friendly to say the least and the prices were reasonable. There’s nothing really special about this place but it’s usually available to just sit and spend some time at.

Excellent Saturday brunch choice on the Ave! First, not every spot in downtown Delray offers brunch on Saturdays, but for the few that do, Park Tavern is top notch! The highlight, in my opinion, is the bottomless beverage option for only $ 9. You get your choice of mimosas, brunch punch(rum drink), rose wine, or Bloody Mary. For a $ 3 upcharge, you can mix and match and have your assortment of any of the four. That’s a great deal for only $ 12! I ordered the Grilled Breakfast Pizza, sans the bacon, but they added a bit of extra cheese for me. It was so good! I ate half of it, as the size was plentiful, even though it may not appear so in the photograph. My husband ordered the Banana Bread French Toast and was only able to finish one piece(they serve 3 pieces) because the pieces were so dense. He loved it! As an appetizer, my husband ordered the corn bread mostly because previous Unilocal reviewers recommended it, and it did not disappoint! I’m not a corn bread gal, but I did really like the pecan butter on the tiny piece of corn bread I tried. Good stuff! Ross was our server, and he delivered outstanding service from the moment we arrived, throughout the meal, and upon our exit. The manager was also visiting tables just to check in, which was a nice touch. We’d easily return here for Saturday brunch, especially after we learned that is can get crazy busy there for Sunday brunch. So, if your schedule allows, choose Saturday over Sunday, and enjoy!
