Stopped in here during happy hour($ 2 off drinks and $ 7 bar menu) They didn’t skip a single detail in the décor and ambiance of this place. It’s gorgeous inside! Amazing displays of tequila, super clean bathrooms with a fun décor and TV’s! Staff is friendly and attentive, they make every batch of guacamole table side! Their chips are unique with a dusting of Mexican spices. 3 stars because the shrimp seemed to taste far too fishy and our jalapeño margarita wasn’t all that spicy.

Taco Tuesday was quite the waiting game. It took about an hour for my friends and I to get our seats, which was expected since we came around 7. Once we were seated, we got two of the $ 15 margarita pitchers. The margaritas were very watered down. We weren’t impressed. We all ordered the«All you can eat» tacos for $ 16. After what seemed like an eternity, we finally received our first round of tacos. I got the chorizo, blackened fish, carne asada, and shrimp tacos to start. The fish taco was bland and the tiny piece of fish literally took up only half of the tortilla. The chorizo was flavorful but somewhat oily. The carne asada was good but I thought it needed a little more flavor. The shrimp taco was delicious and it was quite filling. I also tried the chicken and ground beef tacos. Both were okay and didn’t taste any special. The wait time in between tacos took way too long for our liking. There was at least 30min in between getting our drinks, our first set of tacos, and our second set. We weren’t happy about that.

We really liked Rocco’s. The ambiance is very fun and inviting. It’s perfect for groups, or just for a couple of friends. I love the lighting and the attention to detail in everything from the wall art to the chairs! The food was very good. To start, the margaritas were excellent(check out their happy hour specials) and the chips and salsa were superb. I didn’t love love my meal, it wasn’t bad it just wasn’t up to par. I got the Enchiladas verdes. I think they were a little dry, and the enchillada sauce was a little bland. I sitll ate it, but would like to try something else next time as my co-workers really liked their dishes! We met Rocco on this visit and he was super nice, helpful, and genuinely friendly to all of the guests in the entire restaurant. He didn’t just do the manager walk-by, he actually stopped to talk to us and get to know a little about our likes and why we stopped by. Great customer service! Overall we will be back for another try again soon!

Food and ambiance always great Love atlantic avenue. This new addition is perfect for the night life in Delray. Only complaint is that it’s too loud and it’s hard with a larger party to hear the people 2 down from you. Highly recommend

This is a fairly new location, and I had never been to this particular Rocco’s. After the Unilocalies we decided to stop here. This is conveniently located on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. The wait time seemed like an hour so we decided to try our luck elsewhere. However, the hostess was super sweet and said don’t worry I’ll get you a table in 5 – 10 minutes. We sat outside to enjoy the ambience of the ave. Our server was funny and quick on taking our order. I’m glad because I was hungry. Now I’m conflicted because service was great and so was the environment but the food was mediocre. The Boca location has better cooks or something because my shrimp quesadilla was bland and the cheese was not melted but seemed like reheated. Same thing for my hubby’s beans and rice on his dish. I tried his sides they didn’t taste that great. His fish tacos were the only thing which tasted decent. Overall I would try their food out again in a few months hopefully they improve. Overall the restaurant is gorgeous but I rather eat mouth watering food then looking at the artsy ornaments on the ceiling. ~

Rocco taco is fast becoming one of my favorite places to go to when I am craving Mexican food. Been to two locations till now Boca and Delray and both of them have excellent service. We were actually at the Unilocalies in Delray and figured we would get a bite before heading back home. Saturday night in Delray and we didn’t have any reservations and the wait was 30 – 40 minutes so I said no thank you and walked out but the hostess chased us down and said she might have a table for us outside if we waited 5 minutes. Love the shrimp taco platter served with beans and spicy rice. You can start with the chips and salsa and guacamole. Ambience is amazing along with high level of service so if you are into Mexican along with enjoying a great evening this is a great spot to end up at.
