The food is dynamite as always. Very crowded but that’s understandable since the food is awesome. Service however leaves a lot to be desired. My friend asked to replace potatoes on her meal with a small side of plain pasta. Server said absolutely not — very rudely too. Sometimes you have to have more than just great food, whatever happened to customer service? That being said the lobster-filled ravioli was great.

Came here for a drink one night and came right back the next day for lunch. This place has a wonderful atmosphere for couples and for larger parties. Having spent time between Rome and Venice, I found the décor and vibe both inside and outside to be upscale Italian chic. Then there’s the food; unbelievable. We ordered the octopus salad and Spedini(a signature for sure) for starters, then the beef carpaccio which melts in your mouth. Followed by a pasta dish each which left us too satisfied to peruse the dessert menu. The service was excellent.

VERYDISAPPOINTED. We always arranged to have dinner here at least once every vacation as we have for the past many years. At the end of our rather expensive dinner, we asked to see the Manager… and the Owner arrived. Although he offered to compliment us with dessert, we told him we did not want dessert(or the coffee we paid for), but only that he hear from diners so he can improve the experience for future patrons in the future. 1. The waitstaff and bussers need proper training and monitoring. Our waiter was a sourpuss from the start. We had to ask twice for bread to go with the olive oil. He did not know the price of the veal chop and had to look it up at $ 39 then said the risotto was $ 24 or $ 34 only to come back and say it was the $ 34. We could tell he was a «rusher» who wanted a quick table turn and did not offer any semblance of professional or proper service. 2. My wife makes risotto and said hers was bland even though it was supposed to be with sausage. My meatballs were tasteless and in a tasteless tomato sauce. My veal parmigiana was ok and nothing special. The loaf of bread in the breadbasket served was BURNED and we immediately sent it back for a proper one. The kitchen needs more oversight and training. 3. My wife ordered a second glass of Pinot Noir $ 12 and the waiter served it right next to the empty wine glass – but did not remove the empty glass. Evidently he no that he «serves» and the«busser» buses. Terribly unprofessional. 4. The busser also needs training. While we were still eating, he stops and asks«Are you DONE?» Duh of course not. Plus he should be trained to use the word«finished» or «May I remove your plate?» Potatoes are done people are finished as we were taught. 5. In sum this is a restaurant which is $ money oriented only and offers a low quality dining experience. The rush to turn tables was apparent… and they are FAST. The busser was VERY well trained to rush in the moment diners leave, remove the dirty everything, and in a flash carried everything needed for a new table setup – all in one attempt with arms full. Yes this is a tourist area, but other restaurants of this quality and price range offer a team of professionals. We left only a 10% tip to show we were displeased so hopefully the waiter will get the message that he needs to offer more professional service. It is a shame that Tramonti cannot better train its waitstaff bussers and kitchen. The Owner should be embarrassed at our dining experience.

The food is terrific. The server was perfectly competent. The reason I am giving this place two stars is the repugnant maitre d’ who does not have any concept of time or truth. Dozens of people were way behind on their reservations, including us. He told us we were«next — but I have two before you». There was no apology for seating us nearly half an hour late. Beyond that, I watched him actually physically knock into a patron with a chair he was moving and not apologize. I know the place is busy and they may not feel like they need the business but there is a terrible mismatch between the quality of the food and the quality of the experience that robs the customer of a pleasant evening.

Got takeout from here today for lunch, an app and two entrees. The food came to 47 $, acceptable for great food. The food was delicious, honestly. I would definitely recommend for anyone in the Delray Beach/Boca/Boyton area. The reason i gave a 3 star review is their customer relations. After reading a several reviews and talking with people that have dined here, it is evident the staff is rude and stand offish. I personally was rudely directed to the bar to pick up my takeout. Overall did not feel comfortable picking it up after talking with the host. whatever the case might be the food is delicious. The staff could use a lesson in customer service etiquette.

We found two pieces of metal in our food. We told the waiter and he didn’t care.(He also put pepper all over my husbands food after saying he didn’t want any…) We told the manager and he did nothing. They charged us for the food and gave us nothing for this disgusting and possibly life threatening foreign item in our food. Never on time for reservations so you drink at bar and can’t see… must be it.

Tramonti is one of the best Italian restaurant in South Florida we start her off with the egg plant Rollatini appetizer which was perfect topped with a very light tomato sauce, then we had they have portion of linguine with clams the pasta was aldenti you can tell they use premium olive oil fresh garlic and parsley there’s no skimping on the ingredients that are being used to create a meal let’s MoveOn I had the jumbo shrimp over escarole it was sautéed in oil garlic not overpowering just right I have to say the shrimps were jumbo the Largest shrimp I’ve ever had in any restaurant including New York! Our waiter Alberto what’s very accommodating and polite always checked with us when each course was served we never had to ask for more bread would be sure we were down to one or two slices he fill our basket and water glasses if I was to leave out the rigatoni Genovese it would be a crime my wife had that as a main course and believe me The last time I ever had it that good is when my uncle Sal who was a chef in Naples used to make it for us I would go back just for that excellent! And of course we finished off with a perfect cappuccino if you cried the rest you owe it to yourself to try the best! Only my opinion.

No complaints as for as Italian goes. Different vibe than Martoranos, but service and food are amazing. Definitely make a reservation.

This place is just ok. Just because they’re from Mulberry Street in New York doesn’t mean they are necessarily the best Italian restaurant. I was really looking forward to my dinner here as I had been here a couple times before for business lunches. At lunch I don’t really eat heavily so it’s typically salad or fish which have been good. We came for dinner on a recent Saturday evening and had to start with what everyone raves about here on Unilocal the mozzarella spadini. This was odd. It was fresh mozzarella baked or fried into bread — I couldn’t tell because it was floating in a sauce that tasted like tomato sauce with vinegar in it. Picture a buffalo wing sauce without the spice. Hubby wanted a veal dish with pasta instead of spinach. Um NO! No pasta for you — unless you want to order and pay for a half portion — and you’ll still get the spinach even though you hate it. Ok he then ordered the«gnocchi» — which I only put into parentheses because it’s in parenthesis on their menu — does that mean it’s not really gnocchi? Either way it was over cooked in a bland tomato sauce. I had a seafood pasta which was fine. Not the best I ever had but definitely not worth driving to Delray and dealing with the parking headache. Our server also wasn’t the most enthusiastic guy. The other server in the area was talking up these specials that we were not even told about. Sorry when I’m paying the bill, «no» shouldn’t be in my servers vocabulary. Not that it matters here as the Delray wanna be crowd will continue to come here for so called«authentic» NY Little Italy Mulberry Street food.

DELICIOUS! No way you can not give this place 5 stars. Let’s start with the atmosphere outside. Super cozy with little Christmas lights all around and candles on every table and superior waiter service. Inside a great bar with nice people and extremely competent bartenders. And then there’s the food… Tremontis is probably one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. A bottle of Veuve and any one of their amazing chicken or veal and pasta dishes and I am just in heaven. Don’t even get me started on dessert :-) Extensive menu. Indoor /outdoor seating. Nearby parking.

Overpriced for sure. Food was good, but nothing to write home about. Our server had an Italian accent which for some reason added a bit of a «phony» vibe to the evening. Maybe it was his accent. Or maybe it was his general neutral concern for service. The busboy did most of the serving/clearing of our dishes. Again, prices are out of control and definitely stay away from the frozen calamari appetizer.

The food in Italy is just so delicious. The ingredients are of the highest quality, very fresh, and the recipes are very simple. You can say the same about Tramonti’s. This is an excellent restaurant. Real Naples style cooking. Excellent service, good size portions. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it. Alfresco outside seating is also very nice, weather permitting.

Best italian food in delray. There’s not one dish I haven’t enjoyed. The waitstaff and managers could be a little nicer but they’re palatable. They are a little on the expensive side but I believe the taste and large portions make up for that. PS make sure you have a reservation they’re almost always on an hour plus wait time. Our go to order: Broccoli rabe and orecchiette pasta Lobster ravioli Costolette Di Agnello Alla Griglia(grilled lamb chops with mushrooms) Theyhave indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is nice for people watching. However it’s hot in the Florida even at night, outdoor is better for the winter months.

If it weren’t for our server, Catalin, I know our experience would not have been as amazing as it was. Catalin’s service was outstanding; he offered plenty of recommendations and sincere conversation. He also kept the table clean, tidy and refreshed with water/wine 100% of the time. We ordered Carbonara with gluten free pasta that was tremendous, penne and manicotti — ALL were amazing. The bread and olive oil served was on point as well! We actually went back for dinner the night following our first time because the food and service was that good. Based on other reviews, it seems like the service is maybe hit or miss but I don’t think the food is as we switched things up a bit our second time and we were just as satisfied. The pasta fagioli is amazing! I’m leaving 4 stars because everything was amazing in its entirety but the maitre d’ is phony bologna.

Tramonti is a popular busy«standard» neapolitan restaurant located on the ever congested Atlantic Avenue strip. Overall the various items on the menu are not bad, but not particularly memorable either… however, I would return just for the Spedini Di Mozzarella Romana(5 stars). The gnocchi approached 4 stars prepared wth a rich marinara sauce. I sampled the flounder appropriately named since it floundered on the plate My spouse had a scallop and shrimp dish which was breaded in a garlic sauce… a bit too bland for my palette…31/2 stars. From my experience, any veal dish under $ 30 will not be speciall… which in this case means non-memorable… expect the slab of veal to be a bit too thin. As warned previously by other Unilocalers… it is important to ask the price of any of the given specials for the night which can be considerably higher than the average price of other items on the menu. The special veal dish for the night was $ 45 while the special shrimp dish for the night was $ 48. The service was excellent and extremely efficient on a very busy Saturday night… but we had the feeling that they want you«in and out». Otherwise I have no great issues with Tramonti and probably return, since I know what dishes to order… but preferably not on a Saturday or Friday night… However, if you are into to people watching this is the place to go on the weekends… Finally I can’t help but comment upon the Atlantic Avenue scene… which on any given weekend evening is alive with loads of attractive young strollers that made this Unilocaler feel quite old. Valet parking is available at $ 10 a shot. If you’re on a budget use the municipal parking lots which generally run $ 5. I would rate Tramonti with three and a half stars if I could. But have moved it up to 4 stars because of some of the better dishes, which I’ve had in the past. Expect to spend approximately $ 120 to $ 140 per couple if you plan to make use of the bar.

Very average Italian restaurant. The ambiance and décor is fantastic but the quality of their food is average. Our pasta was undercooked. The place is grossly overpriced. My advice is if you are in the mood for table cloth Italian just to Maggiano’s in Boca, far better service, quality of food and less money.

My Italian friend who owns a restaurant in LA had been telling me to check his place out, so finally I decided to try. First of all when I called to make a reservation, the host Glen had some accent(like Italian kinda, but don’t know for sure), and he was very inviting and funny. We got there the place was packed so we had to wait at the bar for a little while, but it was fine, we were checking the place out, and there were some eye candies unlike all the restaurants in Boca, everyone here was friendly and not snobby. We brought our own wine and as soon as we saw a bottle of Raymond for $ 44, we decided to order it, the wine was at the perfect temperature and very nice. We sat down and immediately brought us bread basket(at some restaurants, they don’t bring it till you ask), we ordered Arugula salad to share, the arugula was a different kind of arugula, but it was good, had many slices of parmesan cheese on top and we also had meatball and rigatoni brunch special for 2. This dish was pretty big and the meatball was not mushy but firm and the outside was a little harder like the way I like, the red sauce was yum and the rigatoni was perfect al dente(I hate soggy pasta), the dish also came with Italian sausage which wasn’t sweet and very good, also there was some stuffed pork look like meatloaf, it was also good, and there was one more thing which I thought it was stuffed rolled pasta, so I took a bite and it was very fishy and left me a bad taste in my mouth so I had to rinse my mouth with the wine… It was gross to me, but my friend seemed not to dislike it, so I asked our waiter what it was, he said it was Pig skin… but trust me it did not taste like pork rinds… Except for this pig skin thing, everything was very tasty, and at last, we were very full but my friend wanted to taste Fettuccine Alfredo, so we ordered the half portion of it, but it was still big, but the white sauce was in the light side which we like. Overall we like the food very much and had a great time. BTW we saw Glen outside when we walked out, he was funny again… We will definitely go back there soon.

Mehhh… I just don’t get it. It’s very good Italian food that’s in a similar ambiance as every other restaurant on Atlantic in Delray. It’s rather expensive for Italian, but really it doesn’t stand out in any particular way in my mind. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the waiters — kinda snooty. I just wasn’t impressed.

One of my favorite restaurants on earth. Every dish I’ve had there is to die for. My favorite entrée is the Pasta Carbonara, but I’ve tasted few things on earth better than the Spiedini. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Apparently I’m not the only one who knows how great the food and service is, as it’s tough just to get a reservation here. Even when you have one, you’re often waiting a while to be sat. But it’s definitely worth the wait. A bit pricey but large and delicious portions justify the cost. It’s too pricey to go all the time, but we make sure to get in there on special occasions.
