Average breakfast. Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on wheat was good, but we ordered it on white. Did not come with any side at all. Sebastian, which was just an omelet sandwich, was very good, but it was described as being mixed with homefries and put inside the bread. It was just an omelet on a bulky roll, again no sides or homefries. Expensive for not coming with anything and more than most comparable places. Small, depressing place with one waitress/host. Food was average, but pricey. Small menu with nothing notable on it.

It’s a modest place with the family business flair. I liked that there was no line to get table and cute very young girl was our server. Our orders were taken pretty soon & drinks arrived right away. The food we waited for a while. The Isabella omlet was amazing! 2 by 2 by 2(eggs bacon sausage and bit of potatoes) were on small side. They only have plain pancakes.

Perfectly sweet little breakfast place. The walls are lined with Roosters — hence the name Rise and Shine Café — I had old fashioned oatmeal which is surprisingly not offered in many breakfast places — it was a tasty generous portion, my husband had their French toast made from Portuguese sweet bread — also very good, nice strong coffee — what’s to complain about — it’s breakfast and it was good and we didn’t have to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Staff is friendly and gracious.

Awful. $ 42(not including tip) for two people is ridiculous. Waitress was forgetful. Being the only two people there, it shouldn’t have been hard to wait on us. The only thing nice was the ketchup which I had to get up and get myself. Staff was super loud.

When our usual haunts were extremely crowded we decided to give this place a try. Décor was country and very clean but I have nothing else nice to say about the place. The waitress was forgetful. It took her 3 trips to the table to get my cranberry juice. During which time I overheard the table next to us telling her she’d charged them for extra coffees they hadn’t ordered. While she was fixing that we waited because although we were the only other customers apparently she was the only one working. She did finally come take our order at which time someone presumably a coworker came in and they chatted at the bar. We waited 15 or so minutes and then my fiancé went to the car to get our baby a blanket because the restaurant was freezing. When he came back I overheard the waitress convey to the cook our order… At least 20 minutes after we had ordered during a conversation about staffing and hours. No I was not listening in. They were shouting. The cook proceeded to tell her they did not have hash. When she came back to our table 5 minutes later to let us know we asked for the check and left. I don’t know how their food is as I will not ever be eating there. Since we were in the restaurant for an hour and our order had not even been given to the cook. The cape has plenty of other great places for breakfast skip over this dive.

I was going to Benny’s hardware store and decided to try this restaurant for breakfast. What a fabulous spot! The décor is very country and homey… Meticulously clean… and the food was excellent. This place is a hidden gem. Can’t wait to back!

My husband and I were looking for a place to have breakfast at 7 am. Many restaurants were closed(perhaps April is a slow month). Rise & shine was open and had already a couple of customers in it(locals it seemed). We were greeted warmly and enjoyed our coffees while waiting for our orders(spinach egg Benedict and spinach and veggie omelette). The food arrived promptly and was good. Not an upscale brunch but a solid savory homemade breakfast nonetheless! Home fries were yummy– flavorful and not greasy. Egg Benedict was lovely and just the right size. The omelette had fresh ingredients but was slightly soggy. Friendly staff but not in your face kind.
