Gyros City

Was a great place, closed now though when they did the remodel at the mall. Hope they come back.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a gyro restaurant in a mall. They are located in the food court. The restaurant front appearance is not impressive, but their customer service is outstanding! I ordered the beef fajita nachos (yes, this gyro place sells nachos) and they were quite good. The menu is a bit weird. They offer an odd combo of food types that typically don’t go together. I went back another time and ordered the fried shrimp, unfortunately I can’t recommend the shrimp (too much bread coating). The shrimp came with ranch, which was a bit weird to me. Those dining with me enjoyed their food. The workers were very attentive and nice. They are definitely my first choice for food in the food court. I will try more of their mexican and greek food next time.

Gyro City is located in the Golden Triangle Mall. This isn’t your typical mall slop though. The gyros and fries are cooked when you order and come out nice and hot. I’ve had several of the grilled chicken gyro combos and each one has been very good. This is definitely my go-​to place when I feel the need to eat in the mall.
If you’re looking for a nice sit down restaurant then this isn’t going to be the place. But if you want a nice, fresh quick bite to eat then you should give this place a try.
