We have been there several times and have never had a burger that we didn’t absolutely love we will continue to go back for some great food

Burgers are sub par. Only good thing about this place is the upstairs bar. Cool place to check out once, but not worth multiple visits.

This place is in a cool location and has an amazing patio on the second floor overlooking the Denton Square. The food is delicious. I had the Georgie Boy, bacon cheddar burger, and the garlic parm fries are fantastic. they come with a yummy dipping sauce. My son loved the Ready Freddie burger. It’s a little expensive but worth it. I bet it would be real nice to drink and chill on the patio. I’ll have to do that sometime. The décor is cool with rock n roll memorabilia.

We almost finished the large order of Parmesan fries, they were so good! Burgers are delicious. Blue cheese bacon Freddy’s hot sauce. Craft beers. Bottled Dos Equis. Friendly, efficient staff. Yummy!

I can’t believe I waited so long to try LSA out! It’s one of the best restaurants on the square and in Denton. I visited late Friday night(props to them for being open until midnight). Thankfully we didn’t have to wait. We asked to be seated upstairs and our waiter was happy to accommodate us. For an appetizer I had the garlic parm fries. And oh… my… god. They were the best fries I’ve ever had. I decided to order the Turkey Bob Burger since I don’t typically eat red meat. They have plenty of vegetarian options as well! I’m happy to say that the turkey burger was also one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It didn’t even taste like turkey. Writing about this actually has me craving LSA… I can’t wait to go back and sit on their dope upstairs patio. Pros for good music, cool décor, a friendly waitstaff, large portions, low prices and excellent iced tea!

I love LSA burger! The vibe of the restaurant is a lot of fun and the burgers are delicious and well priced– especially for being on the Denton Square. Their menu has a lot of different options and is friendly to dietary restrictions. This place is a must try in Denton!

This place is amazing! Great service and cool atmosphere. Topped off with really good food. We started off with the brisket queso. Highly recommend! We also had bloody Mary’s. They were above average but not the best I have ever had. They do use Zing Zang. I had the lamb burger(amazing) and my husband had the GeorgieBoy(burger with cheddar and bacon). He says it was fantastic and he is a burger lover and snob. This is our 2nd time here and we will continue to come back! The rooftop patio is the place to be.

Many people said to try this place. So I did. Brisket queso lauded by my many was average by Austin standards. Try Torchy’s, Red’s Porch, or Matt’s El Rancho in comparison. But the burgers here are AWESOME. Sit upstairs for an enclosed glass room witch is cool. Cocktails are respectable, but if you want beer, there is a nice assortment…

Usually I get more detailed and creative in my reviews, but I wanted to make sure I put this one out there ASAP. I moved to Denton in February, and LSA became one of my favorite regular spots. I go and people watch while eating some brisket queso. I bring a book and my iPad and just chill. I love trying the Weekly Burger Features, and wish they made the Breakfast Burger a standard option. My co-workers and I take lunch breaks there, especially when the weather is awesome. Recently, my father came to visit Denton and wanted a good burger. So of course I took him to LSA, despite eating there the day before for lunch with my office. It was a Friday, so of course I expected it to be busy. Long story short, a few mistakes were made, delays occurred, and the dining experience was less than ideal. However, they acknowledged the issues, and went above and beyond to make it right. Blake took care of us, and handled the situation well. I’ll definitely be back to this place again. Heck, I may even go right now after I finish this review. Oh, and if you like spicy, put that copperhead lode on anything and you’ll get a good sweat behind those ears.

They’ve got some good burgers. Went here for lunch with my brother and wife on recommendation from a buddy who loves it here. Place is pretty cool, we sat up on the balcony inside at a booth. They have random music videos playing on the TV over the speakers(and I mean random… we went from country, to rap, to screamo, to pop…). Staff was very friendly. I got the Ready Freddie, basically a BBQ bacon burger. It was cooked well and assembled well. A little messy, but definitely not excessive. I got the garlic parm herb fries, they had some pretty good flavor! Fries are really good, I think they really are hand cut and it shows. Service was a tad slow especially for lunch when they weren’t very full. But overall, no issues, glad I tried it!

Once you eat their fries all of the fries in the world will be ruined for you. They are perfectly cooked and seasoned, and utterly perfect! This is the reason why potatoes are grown! We ordered their vegetarian burger called the Bohemian. It was huge and one of the best veggie burgers that I’ve ever had. It had many flavors and you could tell that it was made from quality ingredients. The bun for the burger is light and airy and a wonderful hamburger bun. You have to order fries on the side, but if you do not order them this will be one of the biggest mistakes of your life. Don’t make this mistake! You can get regular fries or Parmesan covered fries. Both are delicious and there are definitely enough fries to share. Outside of the food my favorite thing about here is the seating on the roof. As long as it’s not too hot, there is usually a wonderful breeze coming and you can see all of the beautiful Denton Square and surrounding area. I love eating up there. The servers are all very knowledgeable. They always know everything about the food and everything about all the different beers and drinks that they serve. They’re very nice also. This is a great restaurant on the Denton Square. One of my favorites to go to, especially if I want a good burger. Definitely get out there and check it out.

I finally tried LSA! It’s been on my list forever so I was super excited. First impression: kind of confusing. There was someone who opened the door and two more people but it took a minute to solidify who our host was. Is this place normally seat yourself? We wanted to go upstairs so the host takes us upstairs and come to find out, the bar is self-seated. Duh. Go Jenni. Anyway our waitress was super bubbly. Poor thing had allergies though, which she kept bringing up. I ended up ordering the Georgie boy burger with mac and cheese on top… not the healthiest option but SOGOOD. Probably on my top 5 burgers ever. We also got the parmesan fries, which weren’t warm when they were brought out(i.e., the cheese hadn’t melted) but they still tasted fine. The burger made up for it. Also as for drinks I tried Audacity Sunset, their house marg on the rocks(very, very sweet), and $ 3(!!!) shot of Grand Marnier. For how much we got it was a very cheap outing! Overall it was just a really good night! The staff knew perfectly when to check on you and when to wait, sunset beer shots from a local brewery, and lots of friendly people. Definitely check this place out. It got a little busy near the end of our visit so be mindful of that if you’re in a rush or want someplace quiet. Oh also their music choices are hilarious. They went from nonstop country to like 4 Beyonce songs. #Texas

My wife and I were told this was the place to go to on the square. Parking close is hard to find at night or on the weekends. I usually park in a free parking lot a block down on Oak Street across from Oak Street Draft House. When you arrive at LSA, you will see the downstairs. The downstairs seems more like the family area(I stay up stairs). When you go up the stairs you find another bar and tables. This is where the live music is located. It’s an unbelievable view of Denton square. When it’s warm enough they open all the windows. Tip, go at sunset. It’s a really cool tradition. Every day at sunset the upstairs bar hands out shots of beer to toast the beautiful sunset. The upstairs bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and talented mixologist. Best Bloody Mary ever! They have about 8 beers on tab including some craft beers. We’ve been here several times, tried several different burgers and menu items. The place is really clean, including the bathrooms. The food doesn’t disappoint. The burgers have so many different options, from brisket to blue cheese to their specialty the«copperhead lode» which is the right amount of spicy and tasty! Even their crab cake«burger», the Janis is very good. The garlic fries with their«crack» sauce is always a must. Burgers are great too, I’ve yet to try something I didn’t like! The prices are pretty reasonable. Burgers avg. around $ 8, mixed drinks around $ 6 and draft beers $ 3.50. The staff is always helpful and the food comes out fast. It’s located on Denton Square and one of the best places/Best Bartenders around! I will definitely be back, many times! Check it out when you are in Denton.

Good Burgers, Cool Atmosphere, but not the best Bargain. I’ve been to LSA twice now, and while I like the Burgers, I can think of a dozen or so that I like better. The toppings are original, the sides are good, but the Patty itself is not the most flavorful. I’m not opposed to paying a premium for a really good Burger and Fries, but this place has left me a bit disappointed from what I was hoping.

Cody & Treyvon were cool. Bomb croutons too. Seriously I think I’m like 26% croûton right now I ate so many. Got 4 stars because I’m pretty sure Jesus is drinking a Shirley temple in their last supper mural and I personally think he would drink something cooler. Also if I was Jesus I would have just ordered water and turned it into wine myself to save a few bucks.

Tasty freaking burgers! I have an obsession for burgers and this place is where it’s at. Rooftop seating/bar is beautiful, so is the ground floor. Place is well decorated and makes you appreciate Texas :) I had the Waylon Burger with a side of Parmesan garlic fries. The Waylon Burger has mayo, mustard and LTPO with cheese. My friend had the Georgie Boy with a side of Parmesan garlic fries. The Georgie Boy has cheddar, bacon, house mayo and LTPO. Both were delicious! The meats are seasoned to perfection. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend these burgers for sure! I will be back.

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The guac and salsa were both equally great and the garlic parm fries were incredible. The place is really cool with an old but modern vibe. Service is great. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The one complaint I have is that we dined upstairs and it got hot up there, much hotter than downstairs. I think they should have set the air a little lower so that with all the people it wouldn’t get so hot. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back.

Denton needs more rooftop bars, end of story. This place had a rough opening but has improved greatly. The first time I ate here a waitress decided to lower the overhead garage doors on the roof. My friends and I were sitting right under them. Seriously thought I was going to be crushed. The burgers are good, especially the veggie burger, and I love the hummus appetizer. Don’t bother with the pulled pork cheese dip. It’s cheese wizish with no meat. Great beers on tap.

Rooftop bar that might be very hard to beat in the rooftop bar world! I Drive in to the main part of town and its a scene from a movie. There is a band playing in the old town square, people mingling all around but I have no popcorn and I am starving. Right across the street is this place, roof top patio that looks full is a must check out situation! I stopped in for some dinner and a beer and this is definitely a great choice on a beautiful spring night while staying north of Dallas! The main floor of the restaurant is very nice, open with a nice large bar area and a good beer selection. I go upstairs though, it is far to nice out to be sitting inside and up is always better than down. The rooftop is fantastic! Larger bar area with seating all around and a perfect view of the town square and the city around it. They even do beer shots as the sun is going down and cheers to all, very fun place. The staff was good, service was very good and the view was perfect. I will say for a burger place I was less than impressed with my burger. I mean it was OK but there was nothing about it where I went«wow, this is a good burger». I think if you are a burger place you need to have something or you’re just another burger place is a world filled with pretty good burger places. I will be back and will definitely come back to this spot, before the sunsets and stay for a while. KT
