This was a God send for my family, we had just moved here to DENTON from Aubrey and my wife was out working and she saw the restaurant sitting in the corner looking sad, she told me about it and said we needed to try it out. It turned out to be like out old restaurant with good service, food and drinks with a new one for the use of our time together. We both love the food and it place has never let us down, or we will never give up.

I love this place. To me it’s not tex mex it’s real authentic mexican food. I have only had a few items so far but all looks good. I love there hot sauce. Lots of flavor. Very good. Can’t go wrong here.

We were excited to try this new place. We had heard so many good things about the food. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We start off with a pitcher of margarita for $ 9.99 and it was completely water down. We figured no big deal that’s what you get for that price. We ordered their $ 10 a glass margaritas with top shelf tequila. I’ve never been a bartender but these were the worst tasting margaritas we’ve ever had. I order the combo flemado and it only had a sprinkle of cheese on top of it, the rice was undercooked and all the food was very bland. Sadly I’m on day 2 of being sick after eating there. 1 star for the good salsa and 1 star for the carne asada. We spent well over $ 100 and will not be coming back.

There is nothing special about there food and the beef in my dish was poorly seasoned, I believe the best favor on my plate was cheese. I had enchiladas and chile relleno.

The food is always delicious here. However on this occasion the tomatillo sauce was a little sour. But with that said, they marinate their chicken so perfectly, it’s always tender, juicy and well seasoned. I recommend the shredded chicken. Can’t go wrong! You get a lot of food at a very reasonable price and the customer service is great.

I heard great things about Mi Taza many months ago, and finally found the perfect opportunity to try it out. Nothing makes me happier than being able to claim I’ve found a restaurant that could be my ‘go to’ for that type of food; Mi Taza has started it’s reign!
From the excellent salsa, which is available for purchase, to the frosty mugs for a delicious Modelo Especial. Though I’m not a margarita guy (how dare I) I sipped on a raspberry marg, and enjoyed the hell out of it.
The chips and salsa are on fleek, as well as their quality and speedy service. I never felt neglected, even while I sat on the patio.
If you’re in the Denton, Corinth or any neighboring city, this is a great spot that deserves your attention well before any sort of chain restaurant.

My mom comes here usually once a week and loves it. She is completely grain free and they have no problem adjusting meals to accommodate her needs.
I don’t get here as much, but have never had a bad experience. The food is good, the service is exceptional. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and comfortable.

We ate here a couple of times when it first opened and did not care for it. We decided to give it another chance and we are sure glad we did. Something in the last 6 months has changed. We now come 2 – 4 times per month. The service is excellent and the food and margaritas have drastically improved since they first opened.

Food was absolutely awful. My enchiladas were drowning in sour cream sauce rendering them inedible. The chicken was beyond bland. The queso had a very off putting taste. This was a total miss. No plans to return.

This is the best place for queso, nachos, street tacos anything! We love it here and often come every weekend. This is the place to be wish they were opened longer. And the best part. .. Wonderful staff!

Not a bad little joint. When it comes to me, Tex Mex is my personal steak and potatoes. Mi Taza is reliable average to slightly above average.
The salsa is above average; their beef is ok but they cut it too small for my preferences.
I do frequent the place because I can pop in, sit at the bar, grab a quick bite, and be on my way.
I tend to order the same thing so I can’t comment on the other dishes on the menu, but they do have some items for pescetarians. I usually get cheese enchiladas with beef fajita meat on top.
If such things matter to you, the staff are uniformly dressed and friendly. No uncomfortable facial piercings or extreme make up.
They don’t deliver themselves, but through entrees denton.

We have been here 4 times in the last 3 months. This place gets better with every visit. The service is GREAT! The food is always hot and amazing. I’m really wanting to try their street taco’s bc they just look awesome. I have gotten the fajita’s the last 2 times we’ve gone and share them with my daughter. They keep the chips and salsa coming non stop. This is our go to place on Friday nights when I dont feel like cooking. Very good prices, very good service, and very good food!!!

The street tacos are delicious! Happy hour every day until 7! I can always tell a good Mexican restaurant by its salsa & Mi Taza has the best salsa! I can’t praise this place enough! It’s clean & the food is great!

Love this place! Love the food and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My favorites are Carnegie asada tacos, street tacos and the shrimp flameaudo with cilantro enchiladas and the ice cold beer on tap is always a plus!

Good Salsa, great street tacos (3 beef 2 pork). Margaritas were pretty tasty too!
I would not recommend the guacamole though, it seemed store bought and did not have much flavor.
Wait staff was attentive and awesome (ask for the green salsa).
I live close so I definitely be be back (I wonder what the breakfast is like).
