Excellent. Owner and employees super friendly. Pizza way good too. Cannot wait to eat here again. No lengthy explanation needed. Just try and and be happy!

I came all the way from Utah to eat at this place to find out it no longer exists. Such a sad day.

Last night we were craving our favorite local pizza only to find out they have CLOSED!?! NOTHAPPY! We feel lost, betrayed and confused. :(

Best pizza I’ve had anywhere downtown. I cannot wait until they reopen at the new location. If you haven’t been in for a slice or a calzone, do yourself a favor and check them out.

I ordered the combo pizza and it was very good… not ooozing deliciousness, but good. I had delivery so maybe eating it in the restaurant may have been different. I’d try it again, but I would explore other pizza options first.

This place was perfect for a night when I didn’t want to spend 2 hours at a sit down restaurant. We called and ordered a pepperoni, onion and mushroom calzone for pickup. As others have mentioned it’s a good size for two people. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The guy working there couldn’t have been nicer as well.

This is one of the best places to get a Stromboli or a Calzone that’s bigger than your freakin head. This is a small place that serves quality food at great prices. The food is always consistent and almost tastes like the real thing out of NYC(BTW: the secret is in the water so it’s hard to duplicate 100% authentic NY pizza west of the Hudson River). I always order the same thing: Calzone(special ordered with meatballs, sausage, mushroom, onions, and ricotta cheese). You are ready for a nap after eating ½ of it. This is not a fancy place and it’s small. It’s hit or miss if you’ll get a table so be prepared to do a takeout. The 2 young girls behind the counter are friendly and fast.

I am writing this review WHILEEATING their chicken parmesan«panino.» This is insanely delicious!!! You all need to try it. So zesty. I also had their pizza earlier this week and must say that it was pretty darn tasty. This is a very small place, so it’s better to pick up dinner and bring it home. The employees here are totally friendly and sincere, too. :)

Its a bit of a small pizza place(more of a grab and go lunch style) but I came here with a couple friends for a longer lunch and a full pie. We got one of their specialty pies(the House). It was very good. sausage, garlic, spinach and I forget what else. The price was very reasonable for a large — around $ 17 and it easily fed three people with a slice or two left over. The service was good. They were nice and let us know how long it would be to make and updated us when it was about 5min from being done. Not much else to say. its a pretty bare bones place but gets the job done well!

I typically do not do slices because I like my food fresh. After eating a slice from MHPP that has not changed. Mile High Projectile Puke I gave it two stars because I should have known better. It did not taste fresh, the crust was hard and a little burnt — the toppings were not great — Overall just blah — and I wasted my lunch hour to come here. I could have bought Totino’s and had the same level of satisfaction.

Ray Romano’s Favorite, and Gold Peak Sweetened Green Tea. This is, in fact, what I would like to eat any time I finish a seven-hour flight. But alas, it is only in Denver, and despite having delivery, Gainesville FL isn’t in their service area. I really did eat half of that pizza, didn’t I? … good lord, I’m a pig.

Since one of my coworkers doesn’t particularly care for Pasquini’s(which we love), we decided to try a different restaurant with a similar menu, thus, this review. All I can say is … wow. We ordered several calzones, a salad, a pizza, pasta, and some garlic knots. The garlic knots were awesome. I can grab some marinara and make a meal out of those alone. They come in orders of 6 or 12. My coworker who doesn’t care for Pasquini’s said she was really impressed with this place and happy with the pasty dish she ordered. I, along with several others, ordered the calzones. WT … F? These calzones are inhuman. Seriously. The calzones look less like something you’re supposed to be eating and more like a pod for a prehistoric slug on the next edition of Jurassic Park. No joke. I updated a picture. The calzone is the length of a football and a half and, actually, resembles a flattened football(so many descriptions, eh?). I ordered this for lunch one day. I ate that calzone for lunch that day, dinner that same day, lunch the next day, and dinner the next day and I’m not a bird… not peckish at all. That’s how huge it is. Aside from how freakin’ huge the calzones are, they are delicious. You know how you get calzones and hot pockets that have about an inch of breading at the end with nothing delicious in it but bread? These calzones are filled with goodness through and through. If you bite an end, you are sure to get bread and cheese and, maybe some sauce but cheese definitely. That was a plus! I don’t know how the pizza was because, the we ordered one pizza for everyone else who didn’t want something specific, I didn’t eat any. The only reason they didn’t make four stars with me is because of the delivery delay. We ordered slightly before 1230p and was told we would receive the food no later than 1250p. Once 115p rolled around, I called to find out what the hold up was. The girl who answered and originally took my order, acted like she had issues remembering taking the order. She then told me that it must not have went through and then, after a slight pause, she told me the delivery guy was leaving at that moment. I don’t know what the hold up was but it obviously wasn’t one of their better days. *shrugs*

I don’t know how this got four stars? Maybe people in Downtown Denver just like TERRIBLE pizza? Last night I had the WORST pizza I’ve ever had, ever. The cheese was all wrong and there was way too much of it. The slices were soggy, flaccid, oily and lukewarm. Worst. Do not recommend.

I had a great sandwich(panino) from Mile High Pizza the other day. I had a hot italian sausage sandwich with peppers. The sauce and sausage were delicious and the peppers were fresh. The cheese was completely melted and blended with the sauce, sausage and peppers perfectly. The lunch price can’t be beat. I had a big sandwich, salad and drink for $ 8. Perfect for lunch. Pizzas are priced appropriately too. The pizzas looked great, lots of varieties and they are cooked fresh. I actually came in for pizza but changed my mind at the last minute and got the sandwich. Lots of good toppings for pizza. Several other menu options including spaghetti and lasagna. Its a small place, not a lot of tables and not a lot of space to wait for your order. I can see the place getting really crowded and people eating in having people waiting for their go-order stacked on top of each other during the lunch rush. They have a call-in option so you can avoid the wait. I thought the food was worth the wait. Definitely going back for pizza!

Good pizza is hard to find. I love this place. Lunch special w two slices and a soda. The Italian sausage and the white pizza are great. Fresh ingredients you can taste all the way down to the dough. Waiting for them to get ice bags for the soda machine is no bueno. Hopefully they will get an ice machine eventually. It gets warm in there til they crack the front door. 2 flat screen TVs w sports on. And they have cheesecake as well.

Our train arrived at the Amtrak station at 6:17pm on a Tuesday. By 6:20pm my two traveling friends and I had decided that we needed pizza. We called Mile High at 6:22, told them we needed the pizza delivered to the platform no later than the«All aboard!» at 7:00pm. Our pizza arrived hot, fresh, and above all DELICIOUS at 6:47pm. Five stars, Mile High, five well-earned stars!

Note to calzone lovers, this is the place to get your fill! Wow, my hubby and I came here before Great American Beer Fest and BOTH ordered calzones. I think they should come with a warning that they are over a foot long(curled up of course). Maybe the guy just thought we were big eaters! At any rate, I thoroughly enjoyed my GINORMOUS pepperoni, sausage and garlic calzone(I think I only ate 2⁄3 of it). It was fresh, the dough had a good flavor and it wasn’t too greasy(which isn’t easy since you stuff lots of greasy meats in bread!). The place itself is a simple joint. A few tables, a couple TVs and a view of southbound light rail(on Stout) which is endless people watching entertainment! I will be back for lunch… and maybe pick a more sensible pizza slice when I do. It was great!

Came here to carb-load before going to GABF and boy, did I. I ordered the calzone with pepperoni’s and they stuffed it full. The calzone itself was frakking MASSIVE. I think the wife and I could have just split one, it was that big. Service was good although the place was small. The server came by and checked on us several times, even though it’s counter service. This would have been 5 stars if I hadn’t gone to the restroom. The men’s room was kind of a disgusting, breath-out-of-your-mouth kind of place.

Don’t understand why this place doesn’t have more reviews. Mile High Pizza Pie is great. My girlfriend and I ordered the Ray Ramona Special. This pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was good and the ingredients were even better. This was the best pizza I consumed since moving to Denver. The owner is also a real nice guy and likes to chat with everyone in the restaurant.

Are you hungry? Get the calzone for $ 8. It’s huge! I am always looking for The Best Calzone. These are excellent simply due to their size. They taste great! The calzone could easily feed two people. I’m not a big fan of the sauce it came with, it tastes like a pasta sauce, not a pizza sauce. I suggest you call your order in ahead of time to avoid waiting. The restaurant itself is very small and around lunch time it can get crowded. They also have a 7.5 lb calzone for $ 20. Finish this in 90 minutes and you get it free! Or just order one and feed several people. All in all, this was an excellent deal and the food was great. Try it out!
