Sat at the(lower) bar for a quick drink and wasn’t acknowledged for 25 minutes. Beer was moderately priced, but the overwhelmingly under staffed bar will keep me from going back. It was Friday night and they only had two waitresses working. They probably can’t hire anyone because the staff are all wearing«kilts» with their booty cheeks hanging out.

I recently visited tilted kilt on 1÷10÷16. Had a server named Kendall. She was not very attentive to her customers. She was more concerned about her phone and not knowledgeable about a beer menu. Then she fails to either not care or be too lazy and incorrectly put the tip I generously left after poor service. The only thing decent about the experience was the food which still wasn’t what I expected. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon unfortunately.

$ 6 for a Miller Lite draft. Terrible. And… service sucked. Glad I only had a beer and bolted.

Ugh it was just awful. The food was horrible. I got a chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and it was cold. My husband and I couldn’t eat our food.

I have stopped into this place 2 or 3 times. Each time the bar was armed with a staff of 3 dudes in skirts. That’s basically all there is to say.

Was in Denver for the weekend, looking to catch some college football with a couple buddies. Pretty simple, looking for beer, tv’s and bar food. Sat ourselves at a table in the bar and about 10 minutes went by with no service when numerous waitresses walked past. FINALLY we get a waitress and some menus, only place to go is up from here right? We start with two Coors Lights and Vodka rocks. She asked us why we were drinking Coors and said if we were real men we would order real beer. We thought ordering Coors in Denver was a good place to start, apparently not. Then she refused to bring us waters upon request because Coors light is water. OK fine, I used that line in college too, but come to find out with age, water is a good idea when a full day of drinking is ahead of you. We literally had to come up with an excuse to leave after one drink.(Our excuse was they didn’t have pac 12 network). It was like breakup from an abusive relationship. I would give the benefit of the doubt that we just got a bad draw on the server, but looking at other reviews, maybe not…

Don’t go here, the worst service ever. The food is below average. The service is just HORRIBLE! !!, Just a bunch of young girls showing off their body for tip. Have no clue for customer service. waited for ever just for a server to show up to the table, took nearly 30 minutes for an order of chicken wings to come out. The server rarely Check back for more beverage or anything. Had to walk myself to the bar for refill. Over all it was the worst experience ever. WOULDIT recommend this place to anybody.

The food was not good(I had the shepherds pie and it was more like a shepherds slop), but that wasn’t the main issue. Our waitress was completely stressed out and definitely had too many tables. We purposely ordered another round of drinks early, but that wasn’t enough and we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our 2nd round. To top things off she accidentally dropped 2 cups of water on my lap and a little bit on herself. At this point I felt really bad for her, but it was the worst dining experience of my life and I wasn’t expecting much. The kicker is that no one cleaned up the giant puddle of water that was covering the floor around us. It seemed really dangerous to have a water hazard in the middle of the restaurant, but no one seemed to care. I was talked into going here as I was expecting a really bad experience, but I wasn’t expecting that it was going to be that bad. Waitress gave it her all, but the whole place just seemed to be poorly managed and no one knew what was going on. Delightful place to go if you want a cold bath during your dining experience, don’t drink and you need some left overs to feed your dog.

Well we certainly didn’t come her for the food! My sweetie kept straining his neck to see the«naughty schoolgirls.» I don’t mind indulging him, so we made the stop. We were seated outside under big umbrellas so that was nice. People watching along 16th street is always fun. The menus need a good cleaning. But the food was surprisingly good. My quesadilla was yummy & fresh and honey loved his French Dip and«eye candy.»

Hooters meets Red Robbin burgers and has a fake Scottish accent. I’ll give them props on their t.v. setup. But that’s it. The place is way too over the top. It’s good for someone who likes the corporate restaurant environment. All I could keep thinking about was that movie, Waiting.

I confess. I like the Tilted Kilt. They have a good beer selection, friendly service, decent pub food, and, well, who can ignore the«atmosphere»? Most recently, I went there on a Tuesday night when the place was pretty dead. Much like places with this, the«creepy old man» demographic was well-represented, but that didn’t bother me. Sadly, I’m dangerously close to joining their ranks. I didn’t have the food on this visit, but I have had it before, and I found it to be adequate. It’s the standard pub fare prepared at the quality level of your average corporate restaurant. The Tilted Kilt is much like any other restaurant and bar, I suppose. There’s a big drink selection and a decent-sized menu. However, they offer a unique atmosphere which is what makes this place worth the occasional visit.

I saw on another review that someone called this the Scottish Hooters… pretty apt description except for one thing… the food here is pretty good. yes, the servers are all cute young ladies wearing next to nothing but the service is good, and like I said, the food is good. I had a club and she had a bacon burger and they were both awesome. And you have to try the pub pretzels with beer cheese dipping sauce… Rocks! Plus this place has a large outside seating area so it’s a good place to people watch Thumbs up!

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought a friend from California here. We bought beers. We sat. A bartender came up to our table and said a waitress had accused my friend of harassing and assaulting her months prior – when this was his first trip to Colorado. We told them that this had to be a mistake and that we had to speak to the general manager. They wouldn’t allow this. The manager, Deanette, was adamant that my friend had done something wrong. We offered to leave when three more waiters and servers accosted us. I’ve been telling everyone I know since. Don’t go here. You might get accused of harassment or assault before you finish your first beer.

My boyfriend and I have eaten here quite a few times and the food was always amazing. Today we went in for a late lunch and we were so disappointed looking at the menu. What happened? It’s all just typical bar food now. Wings, burgers, whatever. If I wanted shitty bar food I’d go elsewhere. I ordered the steak salad, ordered it medium rare. That steak was rare. My boyfriend got the chicken fried chicken, it was just okay. The only positive was our server, Lanie. She was sweet and attentive.

This place offered a coupon via Unilocal for $ 1 off domestic beers. We ordered a Leinenkugel, a local Breckenridge IPA, and a Blue Moon. Our waitress had never seen Unilocal, and especially not a Unilocal coupon. She added that none of the beers we ordered were«Domestic». I replied that two of them were made in Colorado and all three were American beers, so how could they be considered imports(‘Leinie’ is from Wisconsin)? She said«Domestic» meant: Budweiser, Coors, Miller, etc. Yep…she said«Coors», but not Blue Moon. I asked her to check with her manager and see if that’s what they meant. Her manager refused to honor to coupon since the beers we ordered were not considered«Domestic». Remember your S.A.T. days: «Domestic» is to «Import» as «Crap» is to «Tasty». Panhandlers begging money from families sitting on the patio was a nice bit of promenade ambiance. Why two stars? One for the fact they had beer and one for the boobs. Beer was the winner, tho.

This is what i called the Scottish Hooters… A large bar/eating place where the wait staff don tiny kilts and teeny tiny shirts with their boobs pushed and squeezed to their chins. Haha not quite. Typical american bar food and a big range of beers. The wrap i had was tasty and very filling :)

The only reason I gave this place a 1 star is because I couldn’t give them a zero. We walked in and took at seat at the bar and waited for 10 minutes and no bartender showed up. So we asked for a table after waiting 5 minutes for a hostess to finally show up and seat us so we could have a server. We had one beer and got out of there as soon as possible. The waitress seemed to have gotten annoyed when we ask for the check after only one beer and no food. It was my first and last visit to the Tilted Kilt.

We’ve eaten here a couple of times. Food was forgettable. Service was terrible. The last time we were there it was typical to wait 15 — 30 mins for a drink. Our food order was forgotten and we had to flag down a waitress to get it. The waitress told us «It’s a Friday night and we’re really busy!». Fridays, busy? Shocker. Staff up. We won’t be back. Another reviewer said«This restaurant is in the same class as Twin Peaks». True, they both have scantily clad young women, but Twin Peaks pulls it off so much better. We’ve been to the TP in the tech center on numerous occasions(on Fridays!) and the food is better and the service is always fantastic!

Well now, this was awkward… On a chilly post-Christmas day, my family and I were taking a stroll around Downtown Denver, in search of a good place to grab lunch. One of us spotted Tilted Kilt and thought«hey! An Irish Bar/Food place! That could be delicious. So in we went… BOOBS! Boobs all up in your business. Want to order a drink? Boobs. Food? Boobs. Asking for the check? You’ll get your check. But also, boobs. Needless to say, this is not the kinda place you want to bring your mother to. And I did. Nice and awkward. Anyway, boobs and short kilts aside, let’s get to the food and service. We ordered a variety of things between the four of us. For starters we asked for the pretzels with beer cheese dip. Now, I’ve had beer cheese dip before, and it’s awesome. WHENIT’S HOT. This was stone cold. Think trying to dip a pretzel into cold cream cheese. No good, my friends, no good. To top that off, our waitress forgot about the pretzels completely, so we didn’t receive them until close to the end of the meal. I will say the pretzels themselves were really good. My wife ordered a Gaelic chicken over pasta. Her reaction was basically meh. I went with the chicken tenders and fries. Figuring this was an Irish/Scottish joint, I would be in for some damn good chips, likely steak fries style to load up with salt and vinegar. Nope. Just regular skinny fries that barely get wet when you sprinkle vinegar on them. They were stale as well, evidently having sat under a heat lamp for some time. The chicken tenders were tiny, but tasty for the most part. My mom’s boyfriend ordered a burger, but specifically asked for onion rings. He got fries. I guess this place is fine if you’re just there to watch a game on one of the many screens available, but absolutely avoid if you’re wanting good quality pub fare, or are with your folks!

As an out-of-towner visiting for a couple days, I recognized that 16th street, and Downtown Denver in general, has a lot of options for dining and libations. This was my first time in this chain, and I was looking for a place to watch the NFL Draft on a Friday. This is a pretty huge place with a lot of large and small TV’s with sports on. I ordered the fish and chips, which were just okay. I wasn’t all that impressed with the beer selection, and stuck with Dos Equis lager, which never lets me down. The service is above average, and my waitress was top notch. She was very friendly, and enjoyed having a conversation with her customers … myself included. I enjoyed my visit as I had some time to kill before catching a flight out of town. I would recommend giving this particular place a try. It’s centrally located, and walking distance from Coors Field as well as the Convention Center.
