Good place for a meal if you’re looking for something different. Staff is helpful with choice selection and price to portion ratio is good overall. Food is fresh, flavorful and filling. I would recommend this place if you’re thinking of chipotle or qdoba for lunch or dinner, its a better quality food, a twist on the fast food taco/burrito joint and won’t blow out your O-ring. Going to try the ribs one of these days they look great.

Service was great, place was clean, and food was served very fast. And toppings were delicious. My only disappointment was the taste of the fry bread. It was too sweet for me, it had a dessert quality.

The young woman behind the counter was welcoming and shared her knowledge about all the foods by presenting each one and offering us a taste. She explained that her fried dough was made by the Ute Indians of Oklahoma and was different. This place is simple and clean and self serve. The bison ribs were so good. We tried all the sides and liked them too esp butternut squash.

This neat little place was suggested to me by another Unilocal Elite! Awesome, awesome find. And it’s very close to my work, so that’s even better. I’ve never eaten anything like this before, so I was a tad skeptical at first, just based on my odd stomach symptoms from time to time ha ha! I ordered the fry bread with some chicken, beans, and a few other toppings. Absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try some of the other proteins! Going to bring my sister next time for a smörgåsbord, cause that’s how we roll. That dessert fry bread is calling my name!!!

Amazing! Native American fast food that screams cooked to order. Finally made it in here for lunch right at 11 when they opened and within 15 minutes every seat was taken. The reason? The food is great. The place is set up like a Chipotle where you build your food while moving down the food line. We had the Indian taco with chicken and the bison ribs. The taco was setup on fry bread with your choice of toppings and was so great. The fry bread was hot and the chicken had great flavor. The Bison ribs were pretty amazing too. Get there early, and bring your appetite. Great portions and great prices and even better food.

My super Unilocal-y cousin recommended Tocabe to me and I was intrigued simply by the fact that it boasted an American Indian cuisine. We got to the restaurant right when it opened; which ended up being smart since the line was out the door 20 minutes later! A chipotle style ordering system; you begin with frybread, add on meat, beans, salsas, veggies, and finally sauces at the end. ITWASINCREDIBLE. I was feeling adventurous and ordered the bison meat; then decided to throw every topping imaginable on top(except for the spicy salsa! i was warned about that one). The bison meat was well seasoned and flavorful, perfectly complimenting the corn salsa, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, beans and the 3 different sauces artfully layered over the whole thing. The frybread was outstanding and very fresh. Will definitely be back!

Very good, fresh meal! They have fewer options than lots of places you probably frequent, but that’s a good thing! Fresh Indian bread tacos to order. Loved the bison! Next time I think I’ll try the stuffed one. It looked fabulous. Busy busy place.

YUM!!! My first time eating Indian fry bread(living in So. CA most of my life, this wasn’t something we really had there) and it was so so good. I had a veggie Navajo taco. I think next time I’ll get the stuffed, hot version because the cold ingredients were a little… cold on a cold night! I already want to go back.

Awesome food and generous portions. Think Chipotle but with delicious Native American food. For first timers, I’d recommend the Indian taco. They also have nachos or a grain bowl available. Next, choose your meat and salsas or choose something from the set menu at the side. There is a Guy Fieri taco that I might try next time! This place uses quality ingredients and just the right spices on their meat products. I’m a fan of their buffalo both shredded and ground!

Was in town for business in late Sept. Found this random place on Unilocal. In a sentence: Chipotle for Native American Food. It was bison with lots of corn and salsa and veggies. Tasted awesome. The bison and veggies are all on top of a fried bread which is tasty. This is definitely a place I would recommend for lunch in the area.

I love Fry bread! The set up of this restaurant is exactly like Chipotle, where you pick your base, protein, and then toppings. So tasty! I tasted the ground bison and should’ve gotten it, but decided on the ground beef. I had hominy and cranberry salsa, and added chilies to it– it was so good. If I lived locally I would be a frequent patron.

Holy hell this place is good! I saw it on TV and got to stop in on my way through town a year ago for my first ever Indian taco. A liken to more of a pizza but whatever, who cares, it’s delicious. I had the veggie(as always, I wish there were more options than simply«veggie») with hominy salsa(which is a unique flavor and idea). The ambiance is cool and it’s a quick meal. I would love to go back and try more things!

I found this place thanks to Unilocal of course and it’s become one of my go-tos. Like 99% of the reviews on here, I have to agree and say that it is a lot like Chipotle, which is not a bad thing. It’s like Chipotle’s cooler Native American cousin. Expect to pay around $ 10 for an entrée that will definitely fill you up. Everything is very customizable and the variety is great. Staff is always friendly and if its your first time they will patiently walk you through it– but it’s an easy concept anyway. I SHOULD give them one star because last weekend I came in wearing my Broncos jacket(oh the Broncos? Yeah they are 7 – 0 baby!) and one of the girls working there told me this super long story about how she hates the Broncos and Elway because he had an affair on his wife. Like, this girl was getting so worked up about it. Even the other people working were laughing. If only I had half as much passion about anything as this girl did about Elway and his affair! Come on in. Get the shredded bison taco. Thank me later. If you have time to spare, ask the girl working the food line if she likes Elway. Tons of parking!

I love this place! The shredded bison is amazing! I drive out of my way to get indian tacos here! The homeny salsa tsstes authentic! The sweet flatbread balances well with the salty meat. I recommend this place to everyone. The only reason that this place get 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the cashiers always gives me a hard time when I order 3 kids meals and 2 adult meals. They say kids have to be present for kids meal prices. What!?! YOUREALLYWANTMY2,4AND7YEAR-OLDSRUNNINGAROUNDYOURRESTAURANT? I leave them at home out of respect for other dinners.

Yummmmmm! We went wayyyy out of our way to try this place, and boy were we happy to do so. The fried bread was ah-may-zing! We had chicken on our Indian tacos and they was sooooooo goooooood! I had everything put on mine for the ultimate hookup. We also ordered the fried nuggets for dessert and they were fantastic! Staff were super friendly and seemed to enjoy working there and with the general public. We will be back! Excellent!

Tacobe is so delicious an unique. Food-5 Environment– 4 Service– 5. I had the Indian taco with ground Bison, suggested by the staff, and it so quite a flavor filled experience from the fried Indian taco bread that gave a sweet base to tangy fresh veggies to the spicy red salsa ad chipotle on top. Every bite I enjoyed probably even over ate because of it. The atmosphere and the method of choosing what is on your plate is something like Chipotle but the similarities end there. Great place and a good value massive open faced taco was around $ 8.50.

Has anyone ever gotten anything here other the Indian Taco? I didn’t see anyone getting anything else! So of course, I got one too. With shredded bison! Wow. It was delicious. Here is what this is like: Feels like Chipotle! Everyone is helpful and you have tons of options! The taco itself is like putting a bunch of delicious taco toppings onto a DONUT. Fry bread is like a savory donut. So filling, so rich and made however you want it!

My expectation for the bison ribs was disappointing. If you’re like me who likes ribs to fall off the bones but still get that crunch on the outside with that grilled taste, you may not like the bison. I also think it’s a little too sweet alone so don’t dip the blueberry sauce unless you like it sweet. The beef Indian Taco has a full great flavors in one bite! From the savory of sweet to salty to spicy and still get the flavor of the salsa, mayo and their special sauce. Eat with their taco, which is deep fried.
