I was at Odd13 brewery and was so glad they had the WongWayVeg food truck outside because I was really hungry. For some reason you just get hungry when you’re drinking beer and I don’t understand it. Anyways, their menu is entirely vegetarian and all super healthy. I was really intrigued by the peach grilled cheese sandwich but decided I wanted something more substantial so I went with the black bean quinoa burger. OMG this thing was amazing. Albeit it was a bit oilier than I had liked, the bread was so crisp and there was so much flavor in this burger! It was also super filling! I definitely want to try more of their foods. I am include pics of the foods my friends ordered as well. I did take a bite of the peach grilled cheese which might sound weird but was actually delicious. The chipotle bowl salad was HUGE and also pretty spicy. My friend who ordered that couldn’t finish it because it was so massive. I love food trucks and this one did not disappoint.

Best grilled cheese I’ve ever had — perfectly toasted bread, fresh Colorado peaches, peach preserve, and melted and creamy delicious brie… I normally wouldn’t say I could eat two grilled cheese sandwiches, but this one disappeared into my stomach faster than I expected and leaving me wanting more. Maybe I’ll savor the next one, or I’ll just inhale it again. We’ll see. :)

First off i am not a vegetarian but if i could eat Wong Way every day i would gladly become one. I follow her truck everywhere and all my friends i have brought to try have been over the moon about her food. A friend from Philadelphia said her Boulder Philly was one of the best he’s ever had!

I finally got a taste of Lisa’s food! I was at Black Shirt Brewing picking up a 6-pack to go(and having a taste or two of course) and as I was leaving the Wong Way Veg truck was just opening up for business. Even though I was heading for dinner I had to try something from this food truck that I had heard so much about. Quinoa fritters sounded like something I needed so I got an order to go. I had a peek and a bite as I started heading to dinner. Excellent flavor! Nicely crispy and perfectly cooked. As I drove down the street I new I was going to need another taste… and another… and… rats! I ate them all! I’ll definitely have to follow where this WongWay is leading me ’cause there was a lot of interesting sounding items I want to try!

Can I rate a food truck as CrAzY GoOd?! Because this one is off the scales… It goes to 11!!! My sandwich was the night’s special. It was the portobello with pineapple slaw — AMAZING. Check out the picture with all the layers of veggies. Flavor was strong but not overpowering so that the veggie flavors and crunch were preserved. My man had the quinoa burger. I tasted it and it was good… But it was hard to compare to my sandwich which was heaven for the tastebuds! On the side we had the fritters. They were crunchy and fried(so of course they were yummy). With those and my sandwich I had PLENTY of food so that now I have my lunch for tomorrow, too! WINNING!!!

I went to Vegfest and saw this truck Wongway Veg the menu looked good and not terrible prices it was about $ 9 for entrees and $ 5 for sides with around 4 different options of food. My dad and I were eager to try the food but we’re out on a 30 min wait. We came back in 30 minutes and our food was not actually done for 45 as they were so backed up with orders !! Thier time management and speed lacked greatly ! They took so long and had so much to get through they stopped taking orders for 20 minutes !!! After the time restraint the food did turn out well !! The burger was VERY flavorful and good !!

Delicious food, especially the yucca and avocado tacos! Very nice lady prepared the food. Generous, yummy portions — we will definitely be back.

Fantastic vegetarian food truck! The owner, Lisa, is very friendly and so creative with her dishes. We definitely look to see what breweries she’s at each week and plan our evenings accordingly. Our favorite dishes are the jackfruit quesadillas, any version of tacos that she makes, and the zucchini tots. Every dish tastes fresh and she often has a rotating special which is definitely worth trying. I’m always impressed by how efficiently she runs her truck as well– working by herself, quickly and always with a smile. Her prices are great(the food is so good we always give a 50% tip because it’s worth more than she charges!). So grateful we found WongWayVeg!

We stopped by WongWayVeg last night with my Fiancé’ on the corner of 20th and Lawrence. We split the Jack Fruit quesadilla, Bajan BBQ Black Bean — Quinoa Burger and the Bread Pudding. First off, every part of the meal was sensational. The Jack-fruit Quesadilla had such a unique flavor with a cornucopia of ingredients ranging from corn to artichokes hearts, each complimenting the other. Where as a typical Quesadilla is loaded with cheese and a protein, the Monterrey jack acted as a commonality between ingredients rather than taking the front stage and overpowering our taste buds. Never once would I have thought to include Jack-fruit in a Quesadilla but this unique combination not only excites but satisfies any cravings for an excellent Quesadilla. . The Bajan BBQ Black Bean — Quinoa Burger did not disappoint. We substituted the Monterrey Jack Cheese with an avocado aioli. I was impressed with the demonstration as the burger was«smiling» at us when we opened the box(when a burger smiles at you it refers to being able to identify each ingredient in the burger by looking at it, this is a term defined by In N Out). This little burger packed a spicy yet flavorful punch, not once did the heat become over bearing and take away from the full flavor. Lastly we shared the Bread Pudding, my advice for you is to order two! One order is not enough. The scotch infused dipping sauce is simply put, one of the best pairings with sweet bread that I have ever had the luxury to taste. If you’re looking for a unique, flavorful and exciting culinary experience, you owe it to yourself to indulge. It is clear that Chef Lisa has a passion for her craft and the culinary experiences she creates are one of a kind. I truly can’t wait to see what the season brings!

Neither my husband nor I are vegetarians, and we love WongWayVeg! Several times we’ve actually chosen our evening or weekend destination based on looking up online where the WongWay food truck is. There are no wrong choices on Lisa’s menu. We know that whenever she adds something new, she has put the time in to make sure it’s perfect and delicious. The Zucchini Tots are a staple, the Quinoa Burger is hearty and satisfying, and the Jackfruit Quesadilla really hits the spot with both savory and sweet flavors. Lisa rotates her menu frequently so it’s always fun to try new things!

Lisa is such a genuine, kind person who wants to share her passion for cooking — well, you can taste that through her food. So. Delicious. Everything on the menu. You can’t do wrong. My husband and his friend could no stop raving about their(quinoa black bean) burger.

Traditional BBQ lover. I was convinced to try this truck while at Great Divide and I am glad I did. Something different definitely worth trying. Awesome food.

As someone with serious allergies you sometimes have to accept that you’re getting a very basic and flavorless meal. At Wong Way I was blown away by the phenomenal flavor combo! Highly recommended for anyone, I had the Bajan BBQ Quinoa & Bean Burger. EXCELLENT

If you see this green truck ponied up next to a brewery, stop and eat from it right now! It’s so good that you’ll even go to breweries that you don’t care that much about just to enjoy some tasty vegetarian fare. The husband’s favorite is the Boulder Philly with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and lots of gooey cheese. This is all on a super soft hoagy roll that you’ll want to eat all of. I’ve had this as well as the mushroom onion tacos, jackfruit quesadillas, and some more seasonal specials and everything has been delicious with spot-on, well thought out flavors. Lisa, the chef/cashier/server/driver, is also incredibly friendly and you can tell she puts a lot of love and pride into the food that she serves. Her prices are also very fair considering the high quality of the ingredients that she sources from local farms. I’ve had more ultra-bland-$ 10-with-no-sides-veggie-burger types things from food trucks than I can count, so considering most of her sandwiches fall within the $ 6 – 8 range and taste like someone actually put thought into the combination of flavors/ingredients is a breath of fresh air in an increasingly oversaturated market of generic food trucks with one token vegetarian item. Follow her facebook page for updates on seasonal items and whereabouts(including morning spots for brunch items, something I haven’t tried but always makes me drool on my keyboard when I see the photos).

Happened across this food truck at the 32nd Street Farmers’ Market last weekend and it was awesome! My fiancé and I split the breakfast tacos and the breakfast sandwich and though both were really good, the sandwich blew us both away. It was the perfect size, the bread was toasted perfectly and the combo of egg, goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes was amazing! Definitely hope to try this truck again!

If you are even considering going, GO! The food is delicious and fresh — you’ll never believe the quesadillas are vegetarian(in a good way). If I can find any con is that the taco portions were a bit small for the price… but even that is nit-picky. The owner is very friendly and you can tell she is putting her heart into the operation. As an added bonus this food truck is parked outside Jagged Mountain brewery in LODO every Friday night… beer and wong way veg? Yes please!

I had the absolute pleasure of finally meeting the Wong behind WongWayVeg as well as trying out the food when a group of lady friends all met up for some beers last week at Grist Brewing. I was very excited to finally try the food here. There were so many options on the food menu and I liked that the menus were laminated with suggested beer pairings(a nice touch). Once I went outside to actually place my order, I had some questions for the proprietress and she suggested that I try the Bajan burger, as it was more substantial. I have to say she was right on. The Bajan quinoa bean burger was all that and then some. In fact, I want one right now! It was seriously so delicious. I still have to come back and try the latke. Mmm, goat cheese. We also had some appetizers to pass around the table of the quinoa fritters, and the mushroom/onion street tacos. Although I’m not a vegetarian/vegan, I enjoy good food regardless of its labels. This is phenomenal food. Check them out and get some! Follow WongWayVeg on FB for their schedule and bring some cash for tipping.

Yes, Denver food truck scene! Grooooow! GRRROOOWWWW! .*ahem* I happened across this truck pretty much by chance when they were stationed outside Jagged Mountain brewery(which, at the time of this review, happens EVERY Friday). My friend and I both needed dinner and the menu had too many interesting and delicious sounding options to miss. Neither of us willing to settle on one dish, we split the fritters and the drunken noodles. The first thing you notice before you even get the food is that the chef — owner? — is AWESOME. She tells you right away to go inside and enjoy your beer, and she’ll come bring your dishes when they’re ready. How she manages this alone on a Friday night is a mystery, but sure enough our meals magically appeared halfway through our first brews. Both dishes were tasty and satisfying, even for a carnivore like myself. The balancing act between not scorching my mouth on the piping hot, fresh noodles and satisfying my ravenous hunger teetered precariously to either side. The burns I escaped with were worth every bite. The fritters were okay on their own, but the dip they came? Good Golly, Miss Molly @_@ There’s a reason she gives you so much, so if you order them, slather those badboys up. I usually don’t explore vegetarian menus very deeply, but I’m excited to see what the other items on the menu offer on my next visit.

Okay, I like most vegetables, and I like certain vegetables very much(sorry raw celery, I still hate you almost as much as salmon). I also enjoy meat(beef, chicken, pork, lamb, etc.), way, way more than I probably should. And, although I frequently refer to vegetarian food as, «bunny food», or «the food my food eats», I always appreciate food that is so tasty that meat is a mere afterthought to my palate. That said, I have really enjoyed the offerings of the WongWayVeg food truck. From what I can tell, the normal offerings include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free(with some overlap among the categories). I am certainly not the most experienced judge of veggie cuisine, but for me, this is about as good as it gets. The first chance I had to try some the offerings of the chef and proprietor, Lisa, was at a pot-luck event. Her sweet potato wraps were both tasty and filling. Since then, I have visited the WongWayVeg truck at local breweries. Since most local breweries in Colorado do not offer food, it is always nice to have a food truck on site, rather than ordering blah pizza from a chain. I have enjoyed the WongWayVeg Potato Latkes, the Mushroom and Onion Tacos, and most recently, the Drunken Winter Noodles. All were well prepared, delicious, and made excellent accompaniments to the beers I was enjoying. I look forward to trying more of this delicious food(I have my eye on you, Boulder Philly with marinated shrooms, onions, peppers, green chiles with spicy sweet blue agave vegan mayo) in the future.
