This location of FY is one of the cleaner, more spacious ones I’ve seen! Clean bathroom, clean floors, and clean tables(saw an employee wiping them down)! Also, bonus points for the colorful, painted Des Plaines scene on the wall. We were warmly greeted when we entered and were offered sample cups, as well as informed that the newest flavors included cappuccino. I recommend the Italian pistachio and almond cookie bar. Here, there’s 2 counters of toppings. The long one against the side has crunchy, candy toppings, and the one up by the register had boba and fresh fruit options. Come to think of it, I LOVE that this location doesn’t have the cylindrical topping dispensers that other FYs have bc those aren’t very effective(they crush the toppings, and it’s hard to control the amount desired). Rather, the toppings are laid out in individual tubs with serving spoons. Whipped cream is available behind the counter. $ 0.54/oz here.

Awesome yogurt shop! Have been here several times since they opened and enjoy the wide selection of flavors and toppings. Very friendly and helpful staff makes the experience more pleasurable and the shop is always sparkling clean. Now our go to shop for frozen yogurt!

Maybe because this froyo place is super health conscious gluten free, no sugar added etc why the flavors taste kinda off? Eh wasn’t what I was looking for but cute place.

Friendly staff! It was very clean. Fresh toppings, a lot of fresh toppings. They have a mango flavor yogurt! Its tangy but just the right amount! Perfect for the summer time! They have a lot of room so you can go with a big group.

I’ve been to Forever Yogurt twice now. Their yogurt flavors are creative and plentiful. The yogurt tastes good and they have a nice selection of toppings. A few things turned me off: 1) The consistency of the yogurt — it’s seems somewhat melted. like they need to turn their freezer temp down 2) The price — the price seemed higher compared to what I’m used to for our family of three 3) Asking for sample cups — they give you two sample cups at a time — I always try more than two flavors and I don’t want to have to ask for another sample cup.

Perfect to take a business meeting from Starbucks to Frozen Yogurt on a 90 degree Chicago day. I got the strawberry pineapple sorbet with some toppings which was really good but a tad bit pricey. I will be going back when in the neighborhood.

Finally, an awesome frozen yogurt location in Des Plaines! I’ve been waiting for this place to open since I saw them start construction. I visit this area frequently for lunch(nice and safe area with good food options) and I can now add this place to my regular visits as a tasty treat! My personal favorites so far include the Watermelon Sorbet, Cake Batter, Cheesecake, chocolate, and my kids loved the Mango flavor too. The toppings… oh my goodness the toppings. The staff here really pays attention to detail keeping the topping bars(yes two!) clean and always full including fresh cut fruit. I personally like the fruit toppings and of course the candy. They greeted me as soon as I came in and offered me and my family sample cups to taste the yogurt. All in all, Forever Yogurt does froyo right and this location is a shining example of that.

Love this place! Have been several times since it has opened. Delicious fro-yo flavors with more topping options than other similar concept places. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

The modern froyo concept has been a bit slow to catch on here in Chicagoland… maybe due to the relatively short«frozen treat» season in these parts. This weekend Metropolitan Square here in Des Plaines welcomed our new Forever Yogurt. I had been looking forward to this, so made sure to get in for day 2. The interior is almost exactly like every other place of this type… amazing how they could all look so similar. I was frankly a bit underwhelmed with the flavor choices on offer during my visit. They were definitely very heavy on fruit, not what I was in the mood for. I went with a combo of Mom’s Cake Batter and Italian Pistachio, topped with peanuts, graham cracker crumbs and hot fudge, This was not anything like a full cup, but it ended up setting me back $ 5.63 with tax. The price here is 54 cents per ounce, slightly above average in my experience. Even if this is not a cheap treat and I didn’t find so many flavors to my liking, this is an excellent addition to the neighborhood and I will certainly be back.
