Came here to grab some dinner before heading back to the suburbs. Item 1: Beef noodle soup with rice noodle — the flavor of the soup is perfectly season(even though my friend said it’s a little bland for him). The beef was extremely tender and and melts in your mouth. There was loads of noodle, so will definitely fill you up pretty well. Item 2: Papaya Salad — cantonese style of Papaya salad — a little sweet and a little sour with a tiny hint of spiciness from the beef. The beef was tender and perfectly cook, which pairs extremely well with the crunch papaya Item 3: Beef Chow Fen — The noodle needs a little bite of more flavor and seasoning. The beef, however, was tender and flavorful. I would prefer to go with their soup noodles than their stir fry dry noodles. Tip: Easy, quick and simple dinner for your break between your rounds

I’m fixin’ Vietnamese tonight. Couldn’t bear the thought of eating at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is in the casino so if you don’t mind the environment… So the potstickers arrive. They look and taste a bit«Costco». Not bad but I have personally made better ones. Phở arrives. Nice and hot. Pretty disappointing. I’ve been spoiled for Vietnamese food. Should have looked a little closer at the menu at the hotel.

After having different items on the menu, I narrowed it down. My picks are the Shiu Mai, Green Papya Salad, Pot Stickers, and the Korean Rice Bowl Bibimbap. It’s a small seating area, but never too long of a wait.

tiny restaurant located at a corner inside rivers casino… maximum seating of 16(so if you have a large party of 17, one of you will have to eat at the parking lot)…it’s a bit expensive here… the bibimbap(big portion and flavorful) is probably the best offering on the menu but it will cost you an additional $ 3 if you ask for more kimchee(you pay additional for anything extra)…i have tried most of their soups and are terrible(bland, bland, and bland)…potstickers are good… staff are super friendly… all the red colors in here are making me aggressive to play more slots…

Small restaurant with really good food. Especially shumai, papaya salad and beef stew soup are my favorites

This place is tiny but must stop when we visit the Casino! Great bowls. Always satisfying. People complaining that there’s no flavor should know how to add soy sauce or Sriracha, or ask them for sauce that’s the secret to eating asian food! ;)

The Phở was terrible. These people know nothing about Vietnamese food. My girlfriend got Korean soup and it was too sweet. This restaurant should just stick to what they actually know instead of trying to serve all Asian food.

As others may have observed, I enjoy filling the ol’ belly at a variety of places… so why not go Far East===as they say«Go East, young man». Had a date, thought it would be fun to try something new and different. Well, if you want different in a non pleasant fashion, then this place is golden dragon. a) the place is small, I mean… my vintage bedroom small. It literally seats about 10 people… oh…and how nice that while staring at your beautiful date, we can also get tanned. Didn’t recall seeing that in the deceptive ad on their website, but the lights are incredibly bright. Now some out there in foodie world might be thinking, «Gee Mark – never really ever picked up on illumination power in my years of dining. Maybe you’re being too harsh?» Nope — - we both observed their warming output. Maybe it was their way to keep food warm. I ordered the Duck with rice. One of the few meals I’ve ever eaten that I literally couldn’t finish. Conveniently made with more undetectable bones than in my foot. Each one discovered by my tongue and removed ever so sexy by my left digits and gathered on the plate creating a nice little pile of kindling. The meat and the unfresh vegetable that shared space on the plate were either rotten or just simply ill-prepared. I tried doctoring it up with foo-foo sauce. No luck. To add a small dose of Sea Salt to my dining scar, when I returned it to the waitress, saying in as polite fashion as possible, «I can’t eat this.» Her reply while looking at a barely eaten plate, «Oh, ok.» Then I tried my date’s soup – not sure which one it was – but it should be labeled«:Flavorless, bland, fancy looking Ramen soup» and all the ingredients tasted like it just came off the shelf at Aldi’s. If they’re using fresh ingredients, they need to be shopping elsewhere. Had I not been on a date, I would have made my opinion known and hte bill smaller. Putting aside any creative writing thinking whatsoever – absolutely one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in my life. I’ll never go back – this place really should just be shut down.

It’s tiny, but inside looks very nice. Papaya salad was great. Shanghai Salmon was good. Vietnamese phở was okay. But, do not expect a service professional.

I got the Lo Mien noodles to go. Basically it was a couple of those single serving ramen noodles from the store, a few slivers of pork and chopped onions. What an absolute ripoff.

I visited Mian after a sessions of craps at 1AM, so the retaurant was not busy. There are only(8) 2 peson tables, so I can see how it wpukd get busy real fast. They do offer take out, which is what I saw several people taking advantage of, even at 1AM. I had the weekly special, pork with spicy radish on noodles. The meal came out piping hot, just like you want in a soup based meal. The broth was not flavored enough for me though. After adding some soy sauce and sriracha, the natural flavors of the broth were released. This was the best asian noodle dishes that I have had outside of Hawaii and Japan. I would highly recommend Mian if you are in the mood for some noodles.

Just like Andrew L., this is the reason why I keep coming back to Rivers Casino. Their beef stew soup and beef stew rice are favorites in the family. It is pricey($ 13+) but I think it’s worth it. They have big portions; the broth is absolutely slurp-able; the noodles are thin, not udon thick; and the beef is so tender. I have not tried the other dishes. Every time I come here, I always pick the beef stew. So consistently good imo! Mian is a small establishment so be prepared to wait. We’ve been lucky because we always get a table within 10 mins… though I’m willing to wait as long as it takes so I can get my beef stew fix. :D

This is THE reason I go to Rivers Casino. Every dish has been delectable. Yeah, prices aren’t great, but at 1am there aren’t many other options either!

Right away I’m going to say that the service was good & the people were so nice. It was the only place that was open at 4 a.m. The place is very small but I didn’t mind because it was late & there wasn’t a long wait. It had a little cozy feel to it & the red color of the restaurant stands out & looks nice The meal for me & my buddy was ridiculously expensive for the quality of food. I ordered chicken & rice & that’s literally what I got. I felt like there was no sauce or any sort of preparation to the food. It looked like a chicken breast from Jewel with some rice. The bill for me & my friend was over $ 50. Now the good thing is that the food was healthier than most other places that were open at 4 a.m. Overall I would eat here again if it was 4 a.m. & I wanted to eat some food that wasn’t completely greasy but I wouldn’t eat here during the day. The service is another thing that would bring me back because they were very nice & friendly.

Mian is a very tiny(talking 7 small tables tiny) quick service Asian restaurant at Rivers Casino. They have noodle dishes, duck dishes, and just a few other cool choices. They are open nearly 24⁄711am-4am S-Th and 11am-7am F-S — that’s insane! The main guy working here is so very nice & so cute! The little bar restaurant was totally packed so he took us to the burger joint next door, set a table for us & served us from there. Onlookers wondered where we got our cool noodle dishes, admiring from afar. I had the Roasted duck on steamed rice for $ 13.50. Much pricer than Asian places I’ve been to but it’s to be expected in a casino dining establishment. The duck was actually quite well cooked & yummy! It was packed full of bones so order knowing what you’re getting into. Mian is a great addition to the usual casino buffets and bars, plus filled friendly employees. If you’re looking for something a little different while you’re at Rivers and slightly cheaper than the Buffet, give it a go! Dishes range from $ 7-$ 15.
