Favorite breakfast spot. Love the #4 breakfast bagel with aioli. Highly recommend everything they make.

I tried their Sacramento Veggie — Cheddar, Jack, Pesto, Tomato, & Avocado Panini with Turkey and it was AMAZING! Great salad too with mixed greens, raisins, onions, tomatoes and a fabulous zesty ranch dressing. I have to mention that the customer service was great too. I think I’ll order again today for lunch. QUICK and DELICOUS!

Discovered this little gem on our way home from a road trip to the wine country. We wanted to try something new, different, not just run-of-the-mill fast food crap, ya know? Drove into the parking lot and decided to give it a shot. Upon walking in, there’s a sign that says«We sell happiness». Ummm… YEAH! We split a salad and the Solano paninni. OMG! SOOO delicious! Their fresh made focaccia bread is absolutely to DIE for!!! I wanted to buy some on the way out but decided not to since that means I would just eat it. hee hee hee

This is my absolute favorite place to go in the mornings! They have the most amazing selection of treats and goodies and the service is outstanding each and every time. We were assisted by Kara who was a total delight! Breakfast bowl here is to die for and their muffins are soo tasty! A definite must when you’re in the area

This is my favorite place to stop on my drive through town! I have always had great experiences with the staff and had great food ! Last time I got the California club on a bagel and it was perfect! Everyone needs to try this place while in town. Food is priced fairly as well with lots more options and treats!

Super friendly staff :) First impression of this place, always a plus! We were greeted with the smell of freshly baked goods as well as a smile at the counter. They have pastries, all sorts of bread including but not limited to bagels, donuts with bacon pieces on it & M&M’s — loads of variety. I asked what was the most popular pastry & she said the Apple Fritter — go figure, that’s my fave donut EVER! So I went with that & I also go the 20 oz. Non– fat white chocolate mocha. The donut was sooooo yummy! & the coffee was more coffee-y than I would’ve liked but it was still BOMB :) I totally recommend this place!

stopped here on our way to the Bay Area for a hike on this beautiful day with my love. I have to tell you guys, the coffee(food as well) here is delicious. The customer service however, is one that I have not experienced in a very long time. There is this little cute lady, probably in her early 40s and she is just the most pleasant and wonderful person ever! I really recommend this place if you enjoy great customer service and interaction! I live about 2 hours away but will definitely be planning more trips that will make me need to stop by this place more often! :)

If you have tons of $ 1 day old bagel and sweets in bags the second you walk in the door you win my heart. Then have full cases of wonderful looking donuts, you seal the deal. Throw out free samples and super tasty tastes, put a ring on it. A win for sure.

We were driving north and had to gas up. Instead of getting our coffees at the gas station, we decided this is a better option since it’s next door. We were pleasantly surprised to come in here. The ladies behind the counter were very welcoming and offered up donut samples. We purchased a few baked goods and were happy with the food. I thought the prices were pretty good. If we weren’t on a trip, we would have eaten here and maybe even tried their sandwiches. Nice find.

Let me tell you something… when you’re in Dixon and you’re in the mood for fresh muffins, donuts, pastries of the coffee-associated type, Solano Baking Co. is a great place to go! Sometimes we get tired of the hum-dum same ol’ at Starbucks and want a real homemade feel. You’ll find samples of such laid on top of a huge glass display that occupies one whole counter side. There are tons of tables to sit inside and outside as well. Everyone is super friendly and takes the time to get to know you. Apple Cobbler muffin is AMAZING and a real treat!

My husband & I received deplorable service from the employees at the shop today. Not only that, his sandwich was mushy & mine was made wrong the first time(the girl put mustard on it which is not listed on the menu board). When I asked for a new one she made it but dropped it down in front of me at the table & rudely said«you’re welcome.» We have also ordered sandwiches to go from this place before, only to get home & find some missing or again the order is wrong. We will never go here again.

I got two breakfast pastries and coffee for $ 5… Super affordable and delicious too. They have an array of donut samples on the counter as well as a whole shelf of $ 1 day old items. This place is very comfortable and warm on a cold winter morning. The staff are patient and welcoming. Thanks solano baking co! I’ll be coming back here again and again

I decided to stop by to get a bagel not a big selection of bagels but plenty of other baked goods. I ordered 2 cheese bagels to take home. Once I was home and was ready to eat. The bagels they gave me were hard as a rock! That was quite surprising cause the lady that put them in the bag had to pick them up with wax paper and could clearly feel that they were stale and hard as a rock, but yet decided to sell them to me anyway. Just saying, if they are a bakery everything should be fresh daily no questions asked! If that’s what they want to serve their customers 3 day old bread i will not be going back!

I have been here twice now, and I had one good experience and one bad experience. The first time I came here I was just appalled that our total for two breakfast pastry items was $ 9. I felt it was too much, especially because I didn’t end up loving the items I had purchased. On my second visit, we only got donuts, which were $ 1.10 each, which I felt was fair market price. They were also delicious and I enjoyed my visit. The service there is also pretty good and the workers are friendly, and they normally have samples out on the display to try. Next time I look forward to having one of their Cinnamon Rolls, which I tried as a sample and thought was amazing.

I always love going here not only for their amazing samples and sweets but also for their yummy sandwiches, salad and desserts. We love to stop here before we head to the bay area because it is just off the freeway and easy to get to. Plenty of parking and never too crazy. I would suggest the Salano Sandwich because its one of my favorites with turkey, jack cheese, fresh avocado and aioli sauce! We also have ordered their yummy breakfast croissant sandwiches which always live up to my expectations. The bathrooms may need a good cleaning every now and then and the venue is very low key. A total recommendation for any one in the area wanting a quick stop to grab really good and reliable food.

A moment in time can make or break a Unilocal review. I was probably overly harsh on Solano Baking when we went there for quick breakfast during a major holiday and left with a somewhat sour taste in the mouth. Shortly after I posted the aforementioned 3 star review I received a response from the owner Kendra. She acknowledged the problem and offered couple of alternatives, as well as explained what they are doing to make things go smoother. Of course, she also offered to make another bacon+egg bagel upon next visit. While I did not take her up on the offer, I did visit Solano Baking just last weekend and am happy to report that this time the experience was so much better. No huge lines and good service. We even got a free cookie with Unilocal Check-in. I do get it that experience can be different on certain days, and that’s that happened to us last time. Willingness to listen and correct the potential issues is sometimes all I’m looking for with an honest small business. Now i have no problems with 5 star rating for Solano Baking Co.

It’s was totally worth it to drive to Dixon for breakfast! I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich #5(egg, turkey, pepper jack) and I added tomato on jalapeño cheese bagel with pesto. It was delicious!!! I also took advantage of the check-in promo and I got a free toffee old-fashion donut :)

Sometimes we come here for lunch if we’re craving a donut sandwich. Just kidding, their sandwiches aren’t made from donuts, but they sometimes come out smelling like them. This is a cute little bakery that has baked goods and sandwiches. They have day old donuts in baggies for $ 1 each. Not a bad deal if you don’t mind slightly old donuts. There are samples at the counter. I usually get the solano sandwich which is super yummy. Their sandwiches come with a cookie.

Updating review to 5 stars, as this bakery has yet to disappoint. Will continue to visit and patronize this establishment!

This place is damn near perfect! Why? It’s called quality. When you can perfect a donut as well as you can perfect a panini — you deserve a 5 star review in my book! I love to stop here on my way to or from San Francisco, as it’s right next to the Safeway has station in Dixon. Great lunch spot AND a great price on gas? Sign me up! I love the turkey and aioli panini with a delicious cookie on the side. Enough for two! One tip — check out the day old baked goods when you come in the door. You won’t be disappointed.
