Friendly’s

I am outraged. When we arrived, the hostess asked us if we wanted drinks, but we didn’t know what we wanted so we asked for a minute. 20 minutes later, a different waitress came over and asked if we’re ready to order drinks. We ordered drinks and our food at that time. We didn’t not get our drinks for another 20 minutes. When we got our drinks she asked if my girlfriend wanted her side salad now, and she said yes. Our food, including my girlfriends salad, came 15 – 20 minutes after that. We did not see our waitress for another 40 minutes after that, and she asked if we wanted ice cream which we declined due to having been there for about an hour and a half already. At that time we asked for our checks. She said she was going to make someone’s ice cream before bringing our checks. 20 minutes later, three of the four of us got our checks, and the fourth one wasn’t printed. She took all of our cards anyway, and didn’t come back for another 15 minutes, when we realized all our checks were wrong, and our cards had already been processed. We went up to the counter to try to sort out the checks, and she gave me attitude stating «I don’t know why you are mad, you’re only paying like a dollar extra.» My girlfriend asks to speak to the manager, and after telling the manager all that had happened, the manager said «oh, sorry.» Needless to say, the staff here was not very friendly.

Stopped in for ice cream after bowling. Staff was super friendly and we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive. Was a busy Friday night but service was spot on. Ice cream was exactly what we were in the mood for. Couldn’t ask for much more. Thanks for a good experience.

I go to the Rochester, NH Friendly’s a couple of times a year with friends. I have always been pleased with the service and the food. Everything is as ordered or is corrected quickly. I’m a big fan of the bottomless soda as I drink a lot. I seldom wait for a refill, often getting it just before finishing my glass. We are ballloon animal artists and make things for anyone who comes over. The staff also admire our art but let us eat and talk before asking for what they want. One friend takes a bowl of ice cream home to her Mom and is usually given a bit more than she ordered. I don’t go often but always enjoy my visits. I realize that each location is different, largely because of the workers, so I think any review should mention the location.

I took my wife and daughter there for dinner They messed up my daughters order she said no tomato they put one on. I ordered a turkey burger they gave me a hamburger. I canceled my order I came to eat with my family by the time the turkey burger was done my family had already eaten. The food looks like slop terrible place to eat I would give it a zero star if I could.

Needs a good cleaning !!! And the food is horrible. The waitress we had today was horrible. I do not understand why everyone is standing around when the place is dirty. Will not be going back.

This is not nearly as good as the one in Rochester. We waited an extremely long time for our food and ice cream, FOR GOD’S SAKE ICE CREAM! The server was ok, but the food wasn’t too good, even for a standard restaurant!! Again this place pales in comparison to the Rochester friendlys. :(

Where did the old Friendly’s go? They are dropping like fly’s and this restaurant is a prime example of why! Poor poor service and sub par food. I have received better breakfast from McDonalds! If they want to save the chain they need to make drastic changes. Its too bad, used to be a good place to go.

Service matched the breakfast served, mediocre at best and a bit disappointing. Only have three stars due to great ice cream.

Do you like to look at really old people eating? Do you like to hear old, hard of hearing couples argue about who stole the last tomato? This is your place where the median age of their patron was 72 years young. Aside from the Oldies this place is pretty good! Like surprising good, the tab wasn’t too bad either. Customer service was excellent on the verge of too much, but never crossed the line to «DAMN lady, I’m tryin to eat my sandwich!»
Next time we’re going solely for ice cream… And maybe the loaded waffle fries

Came here for lunch with my mother — in between her doctor appts. Great burgers and real mashed potatoes! The French fries are made from real potatoes too. I forgot what real ffs tasted like. Bright, clean and friendly atmosphere. Excellent service — the waitresses are a lot of fun. I’d share a pic of my burger but I already inhaled it. I had forgotten how good Friendly’s is! I’ve got to come here more often! Ps the prices are good too! And Hospitality that is rarely seen anymore! 5 stars!

Meh. Service was not so super, food was ok when we finally got all or food out. Well what was warm was ok. Ice cream great-​but how hard is it to screw up a sunday? When I got my bill I was disappointed.

You can come for dinner or for dessert. Always a great place to bring your family. You can’t find a better place for dessert.
