I took my daughter here for a pedicure on her birthday. It was an okay pedicure, but I have definitely had better. The girls who did the pedicures were very nice. I didn’t like how the pedicure chairs were right near the front door. It felt like it wasn’t peaceful and private. They didn’t have the pedicure chairs with an actual sink at the base for your feet. They carried foot baths in from another room. I didn’t love that they used the foot grater/razor to remove calluses/dead skin. Maybe that’s very common? I much prefer the sandpaper-y ones. For the price, I would choose somewhere else. The Sanctuary at Southtowne is a favorite.

I hadn’t had a massage in over a year. So when I went into the Spa Lounge I was pretty tense. Diana was great and she did an amazing job. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. Well worth the price.

I have been going to the spa lounge for a year and a half and love it. I get a massage once a month and Stacey does fabulous work. The atmosphere is a lot like Breathe that closed years ago. They are always friendly and polite from the time I walk in the door till when I leave. The Spa Lounge is quaint and I also like the fact I can shower there before I leave. If you are looking for a new spa, I would highly recommend checking it out!

The Spa Lounge provides the best service of any spa that I have been to. Stacey, the massage therapist gives great massages with just the right pressure. When you first arrive at the spa they already have a private locker with your name, robe and slippers ready for you. Amy, the owner and licensed asthetician gives great facials and pedicures. You can tell that everyone there takes great pride in the work that they do!

I had a wonderful facial here. The spa pedicure was okay but the facial was great. I’d give the facial 4 stars. I’ve been to a lot of bigger spas and it was comparable. The pedicure was like 2.5 stars. The room where they do the pedicure is small and the chairs are uncomfortable(no massage chairs). They also didn’t have any magazines so it was hard to close your eyes and relax or you just had to stare off into space.

Annette no longer owns the Spa Lounge. After many, many long days and nights and paperwork she sold the business. BUT… she still works there. And the standards have not wavered one teeny, tiny bit. So you can still go and have the Spa Lounge experience, and you can still get awesome service and treatment from Annette. I just wanted to update my little review to reflect the change of management. What are you waiting for? Go get a massage! PS —(tip) If you sign up for their emails, they’ll offer you 20% off for same day bookings on their slower days. How’s that for a deal?

I have been looking for a new spa since my favorite place Breathe in Sugar House closed down. The Spa Lounge is the closest to Breathe I have found in ambiance, attention to detail, professionalism, and price in the Salt Lake valley. The only thing I would change is the size… it’s tiny, but they really have made the best of the space… will keep coming back to the Spa Lounge!

I am a complete fan of The Spa Lounge Day Spa. Working in the spa industry I am in and out of salons and spas all week. When I travel I even get to write off my spa visits. That being said I am at a point I rarely will indulge in a massage when I am not going to The Spa Lounge because I have yet to have a massage that is anywhere near as good as the one that Annette can give. Also this is my go to place for my skin care treatments. If you want the most amazing treatment from a therapist with training, advanced training(I do call her my guru of knowledge) You have to go to Amber for your facial.
