Worst service ever!!! We got there and got seat soon after that it was horrible. Waited for someone just to get our drink order and seeing the waiters and waitress looking at us and not even asking if we have been helped. After waiting 30 min we just left will not return here again.

It was my first time dining at this I Hop. The the staff is friendly (and funny).
There’s an ample amount of parking spaces, which is a plus compared to the Arcadia (Baldwin Ave) location.
Breakfast food for dinner is always a nice change. I enjoyed the diner style hash browns and sausage.
The bananas foster French toast brioche is a new menu item and tastes amazing! I hope that they keep the brioche options for a while!
Even though we went when it wasn’t busy, I appreciated the genuine quality service from all of the employees and would come back!

If I could give it a zero star I would. Came here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. They brought us the check right after we had just received our food! To me that just says «get the F out of here!». The server was nice the food alright. The manager older white lady was very rude and outright confirmed what had happened. She said that the customer volume was high that they need to get people out of here as fast as they could. I told the manager that they need to reconsider this practice if they want to keep that customer volume. When I got here there was no wait hardly any people. A white family sitting next to us were hanging out after they finished their meal. Their server did not bring them their check until they requested it. Right when I’m in the middle of eating my meal they try and kick me out. Smh. Stay away from this place unless you want to be treated as just another number.

Took my mother to ihop last Sunday. The wait was 15 to 20 min, not bad. Oce we sat down we order drinks then meal. Everybody in the restaurant got there meal but my family. We were the only black people in the restaurant and the waitress made ot clear that she refused to bring us food. After waiting an hour and 45 min to get our food after asking for the manager and she never came t see what I wanted. I had to get up and go in the kitchen and the manager myself. The food came and it was cold

Clean restaurant, very helpful people with good attitude these are the main things you want to experience when going to a franchise chain restaurant as for the food it taste just as good as any other IHOP.

Currently having a hearty breakfast right now at this IHOP location as we speak.
Never had a problem here whatsoever. Food always turn out great!
The only thing you should be aware of the wait time for the food to be served. I’m pretty sure it’s normal at every IHOP during breakfast hours. Other than that, this location is my favorite!
Note: Oh & ask for Martha!!! I freaking love her! So friendly and shows great customer service!

My review was going to start out as a 5 star, but then I took into account how long I waited for some pancakes and eggs with hashbrowns and bacon.
They take about 30 minutes and cant even get the food right. They bring me sausage and had to take it back to bring me back my bacon.
Just wasn’t as satisfied as I should have felt I guess.

I don’t know how many times I’ve been to Walmart and passed this Ihop. I never knew there was one in Monrovia. Came in today for a little breakfast. Lucky it was just my girlfriend and I because they were packed with groups waiting to be seating. We were sat in less then 10 minutes. Our waitress Martha was great! We will definitely be back again!

We had a good breakfast, IHOP gives you a free ROOTY TOOTY FRESH AND FRUITY pancakes on your birthday. The meal was good the atmosphere was pleasant. This is a nice way to have breakfast.

Our first mistake was coming on a Sunday morning. We walked in around 10 am and the place was packed. There was only a 15 minute waiting list so we decided to stay. I ordered the French toast combo and I regretted it. The French toast wasn’t fully cooked so it was still squishy from the eggs. I’ve never seen such a sloppily made French toast.
I’ve had better luck with their waffles. As long as you ask for the toppings on the side, their waffles usually turn out pretty good.
The server was nice but frazzled. We had a lengthy wait time for our food and it came out in waves. I got the eggs and bacon way before I got the French toast.
It’s better to enjoy this place when it’s not packed to the brim.

We came in at 9:40 pm, they close at 10pm but Elizabeth the most awesome waitress/​hostess with the mostest sat us and the cooks made our food super fast, they treated us like royalty, I didn’t feel as if I was at IHOP I felt as if I was in a small town diner with kind loving town folk who got a surprise visit from Prince William and Kate.
Please order Strawberry and Banana French Toast damn dude they are an explosion of goodness on your taste buds.
Elizabeth is the Best, oh my stars she’s amazing sweet just blown away by her hospitality and kindness.
Mega Bacon Burger off the charts !

Praise Jesus! Finally a breakfast experience that doesn’t make me want to vomit. After a year of being dragged to every tacky-​ass Denny’s in town by someone with questionable culinary tastes, I finally found someone to eat at IHOP with. This one is so good. It was clean, the waitstaff was polite and the food was incredible. Not only that, but it didn’t make me uncomfortable to eat there. Sometimes, I walk into a place and I’m the only black person eating there. Or there are black people there and they look unhappy. Not only were there black patrons (a reverend and his family) but the black girl working there was adorable and so nice.
The only complaint I have was the manager. She was an older lady and I noticed her yelling at a few of the employees. They didn’t seem to mind, but I found her behavior a little offensive.

For what it is, I HOP is a decent diner, especially for breakfast. I come here for the crepes/​Swedish pancakes… but this visit my father had the Swedish Pancakes and I had the double monster burger (the idea being I would take half of it home for later). Mine came with a big pile of large cut onion rings and they were as well prepared as I could possibly have expected at an I HOP: crunchy with perfectly cooked rings of sweet onion inside. What a great excuse for catsup.
My father’s pancakes were good, but he compared them to his Swedish mother’s, which was totally unfair to the Mexican cook.
The server was a delight and attentive. Of course the place was virtually empty, being around 4PM, and she was doing everything herself from answering phones, to serving, bussing tables, and doing the side work on the food. But the smile never left her face, and my iced tea was always full.

Busy… Busy…Busy…not a problem, unless the staff is not experienced for such a scenario. Do not come hungry on a Sunday morning or expect to pass out before your order is brought out.
For example, after waiting about 30 minutes for our order, I got my steak omelette before my grandma got her simple vegetable omelette, why? Pancakes were not hot, a sign of them sitting to be taken to the table too long.
The disorganization is a clear indication of the lack of proper leadership. More hands on deck please!!!
I’ll try this place during after hours instead. To be continued, but for now you get 1 star, for the ice coffee that stayed cold.
